Kiera Rose, I don't care when you post, I'm just happy whenever it happens and, yes, these thrift hauls are awesome! just like everything else you post. ❤💚 have a great day
Yay! I love your thrift hauls! Actually I love everything you post! Also, I personally found the fan noise to be kind of relaxing, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. 🙂
I love these videos! It's so nice to see what you can get so cheap because everything's so expensive in shops now. I'm at uni so I really don't have the money to spend £20 on one top. With the green cardi, you can use a hair grip to pull the loose threads inside so you can't see them xx
Kiera you seem like you'd be the BEST friend to go charity shopping with, you have such a good eye for things and you can tell that you look into the small details and make sure you really love something before you buy it
yes yes yes to the thrift hauls! I love them! for the fabric pulls in your cardi! take the material in your hands with the pull in the middle, facing you. then, just gently pull the material in all directions to ease the stitching back into place. sometimes it'll go back in all the way, especially with a chunky knit like that.
I always snag my knits. what I normally do is, with a lot of patience, is using a needle or something small to get in the stitches, slowly weave back the snag, back to where it has tightened up, and stretch out the fabric until the snag or extra yarn shortens and/or disappears. love your videos, always look forward to watching them :)
Yes please! I love these hauls. I'm a charity-shopper too, and we have very similar style. It's so fun, and like a girly-best-friend vibe, when you do these.
Hi Kiera. For the sweater where the threads pulled into loops, I suggest you get your hands on a small crochet hook. From the back side of the sweater, as close to where the loose thread is, pull it through to the backside. If you can gently pull the thread with the fabric to make it more taut, that would be even better. As for the black top where the edge keeps flipping over and sticking up, they make iron on basting tape. It's amazing stuff and no sewing required! Hope that helps!
This is inspiring me to take a look in some charity shops sometime - had no idea there were such lovely little gems to be found! Would love to see more videos like this Kiera they're very relaxing to watch. Been watching you for 2 or 3 years now and you never fail to cheer me up :)
I do the thrift stores all the time and sometimes I feel embarrassed about it. I love that you post about it because I think they are amazing and since you do too it makes me feel better about it
Hey Kiera!! For the green cardigan, if you have a crochet hook- just reach from the inside of the fabric and grab the loose string, and pull it back out. it wont fix the piece entirely, but it WILL tuck it in and help prevent it from getting pulled even more.
I love that hopefully these thrift hauls will make people who think second hand stuff is not as good or don't go in charity shops etc to buy second hand !!
Great haul! I have a similar dried flowers frame that I absolutely love. As for the mugs, I know what you mean about having too many because they are so easy to hoard. I will sometimes save the mugs I no longer use for drinking and turn them into pots for succulents or other small plants.
Kiera I love your videos so much, I always find them very calming... they are perfect to watch any time, but especially when I'm stressed I find it really pleasant to "hang out" with you for a few minutes 🌻
Love everything! You can push the wool through using a skewer or something similar, it won't mend it but the loop will be inside your cardi and not showing, I pluck jumpers all the time 😂 yes to more thrift hauls 💕
I love how the (kinda) wrap dress contours to your body and died when you put on the wine colored top. That shade suites you so well. I might have to start checking out ebay for clothes now!
It is amazing how you make me feel less lonely everytime you post. I am absolutely the kind of woman who would have gone back to the store to get the third frame, out of guilt. Please post your next thrift haul, they're a delight!
I'm in love with those first few mugs, I've never seen ones with that rounded shape either and now I'm itching to go looking for some. The one with the blue flowers on it is especially pretty... I may have a mug hoarding problem as well.
You have honestly always been one of my absolute favourite human's to watch on here, ever since the very beginning of your career! Everything about you is beautiful - whether that be the outer or inner beauty - your heart and soul shine through every single time, as you portray a personality like no other! xo
For the loose threads in the olive sweater, you could pull it through to the other side with a crochet hook (or push it through with a pencil or something). It doesn't necessarily "fix" it, but it will stop it from being caught on stuff. At least this is what my mom would do for my sweaters when I was a kid, so I do it still.
LOVED this video! LOVE the wrap dress, LOVE the mugs! Please do more of these videos, I LOVE finding unique things in charity shops. I feel like you should put a ratty picture in the dried flower frame
I have never commented before but I knew I just had to. That blue dress is the most flattering dress I think I have ever seen on anyone! It exaggerates your curves in all the best ways! As for the snags on your cardigan thing I know it sounds nuts but I cut them and then tie them back together. It makes them lay perfectly flat and you would never know that they were there. My cat always kneads little snags into my knit blankets and that's what I started doing to hide them.
for the green sweater, something that my family does with those loops that come out is use a bobby pin to push it back into the sweater and then put a tiny bit of super glue so it doesn't mess up the sweater. It will look okay from the outside but might not be the prettiest from the inside.
Kiera Rose, I love your videos and really enjoying seeing your little finds, please keep doing your thrifty finds. You are a beautiful person inside and out and seeing your videos always brighten my day :-).x
Great video! I'd love for this to become a regular thing on your channel - I adore seeing what other people find. It makes me want to run out to my local charity shops again.
More thrift hauls plz! Also, for the pulled out thread just get a sewing needle or similar object and hook it and pull it back in through the inside of the sweater. I do this constantly. Lol
I just got back from holiday and I have so many Kiera Rose videos to catch up on and I'm realising I don't appreciate you enough for uploading so much! THANK YOU :D
Those videos are amazing, very inspiring! Love seeing your tresures😊 I just pull those loosened threads to the inside, maybe not the best way, but quick and easy😉 also for your “mugproblem“: I have that problem too and I just plant small succulents in mine😊
Thought I always wear black and I have a kind of an alternative way of dressing, I LOVE the clothes you buy, they are so cute and suit you SO MUCH that I even feel like I'd wear them!
I missed you! i saw the little preview of the video on your insta story and it looked as if it were already uploaded and when i got to your channel and saw it wasn't i was bummed. ive been antcipating this!! 💓
I have a mug problem too! 😂 I'm supposed to be getting rid of some mugs but I bought a set of 6 teacups from a charity shop for £3 the other day, I can't resist the bargains!
the pressed flowers in that photo frame look like a very small variety of rose, just in case you wanted to know! love your videos, they always leave me feeling calm.
That green savoir cardigan is absolutely gorgeous! I love weighty cardigans as they are very comforting and reduce my anxiety by a huge amount! Greetings from Tasmania, Australia xxxxx
Hi, with the pulled bits on the cardigan, you can push them through onto the inside using something pointy! Maybe a knitting needle or something similar. x
I love these thrift hauls! and your mugs are adorable! I had a silly little idea about the mugs: a segment during either a thrift haul or favourites video thats "Mug of the Month". it's very silly but sounded cute
I would love to get some tipps and tricks for thrift shopping! Mugaddiction runs deep in my family. A friend of my mum once gave her a loved but cracked mug since my mum seems to have lot. Kind of a Mug-Shelter 😁
I always pull sweaters and just pull the threads on the inside to have the pull inside and not showing on the outside. The wine colored thin strap top is stunning on you.
regarding the top problem: you can actually get some sort of double sided tape but for fabric. (I'm not a native speaker so explaining is a bit difficult) It is looking like a felty sort of fabric but has heat activated glue on both sides. It's used for patchwork sewing. And you can just lay it beneath the layers of your top and iron over it. Then they will stick together and you can even wash the top regularly. The fabric is usually sold per metre and as a large piece of fabric. Just check your local fabric store ♥
You can fix the black top with a little bit of fusible web. If it's synthetic material, get the pull and stick kind. If it's some other fabric you can get the regular fusible web tape and press it down with an iron.
M&S have a couple of different ranges which might explain why it didn't the top label didn't say M&S but the washing label usually does. The ranges are Limited Collection, Indigo, Autograph and I think that dress might be a Per Una one... (I used to work for them and still buy a lot!) You can get some really nice stuff in there and everyone is always so surprised, it's not just for old ladies!
Kiera Rose you should make an online store and sell stuff you're getting rid of. Or get a table at a local outdoor market and sell stuff. You could plant succulents in the mugs you want rid of and sell them. Make some money back for yourself.
you should wear dresses while you can in england. you really look wow in them. I've been following you for at least 5 years now. and i really do hope i bump into you one day. you really are such a kind person. i know people online aren't necessarily how they are in real life, but i know you are.
So many adorable things!! The flower mugs are so damn cuuute, so don't feel bad about buying more ;) And I have my own fan on at the moment, so I couldn't even hear yours 😅
to fix the loose threads i would cut the loop in half then tie in a knot and then cut off the excess. the knott should blend into the rest but either way it is better than a big loop!
i dont know if this would be weird but you can use the mugs you dont want any more as a patreon reward or something? love you kiera greatings from México
I love seeing what you buy, those dresses look amazing on you! You make me want to go thrifting! but it's SOON HARD to do in Arizona when it's 115° everyday for 3 months.. more Thrift Haul Videos please! :)
RE: The cardigan pulls. Try gently pulling them through the stitch to the inside of the cardigan using a pencil or something similar (obviously not something that will stain the cardigan) cutical sticks are quite good for that, it doesn't get rid of them but will hide them beautifully x
I watched you try on the stuff and with every following piece my brain first whispered *she's gorgeous*, then said ,,Oh, she's gorgeous!" and then just started screaming and yelling OH MA GAD SHE'S SO GORGEOUS!!. Yeah. the £8 something dress was absolutely bom and the plum purple top made me stop breathing. Nice vid.
to fix pulls in sweaters, I use a bobby pin. it's kind of hard to explain, but basically you put the bobby pin through the pull, then you push it back into the sweater. i don't know if that makes sense, but you can google how to fix sweaters with a bobby pin and I'm sure you'll find something useful
That was such a lovely haul again, Kiera! Those things are beautiful ♥ Especially the mugs are supercute! And you look marvellous, particularly in the two planty dresses ♥_♥
I love your second hand hauls!! I try to buy stuff second hand most of the time and I love finding unique and vintage things☺️
Kiera Rose, I don't care when you post, I'm just happy whenever it happens and, yes, these thrift hauls are awesome! just like everything else you post. ❤💚 have a great day
aww thanks 💕 you too 🌻
what i do with extra or chipped mugs is i make them in the plant pots
i have the alll~ over the house lol
great idea!!
Use a crochet hook to pull the loose threads inside the cardigan. It won't fix the problem completely, but it will definitely hide it! ^-^
Effie Creighton or a Bobby pin, thats what I do
Yep I used to work in a department store and used bobby pins, needles and pens to do this all the time
Yay! I love your thrift hauls! Actually I love everything you post! Also, I personally found the fan noise to be kind of relaxing, I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. 🙂
omg that third dress is perfection!! it suits you so beautifully! :))
That dress was an awesome score! I just found your channel and I am already obsessed.
I love these videos! It's so nice to see what you can get so cheap because everything's so expensive in shops now. I'm at uni so I really don't have the money to spend £20 on one top. With the green cardi, you can use a hair grip to pull the loose threads inside so you can't see them xx

Your style is so different from mine but its all lovely! Like I would have walked right past a lot of that stuff but you make it work so well ✨
So glad you seem to be enjoying uploading so much at the moment!
Yes please! I love these hauls. I'm a charity-shopper too, and we have very similar style. It's so fun, and like a girly-best-friend vibe, when you do these.

the flowers in the frame look like roses my love :) I adore your hauls, it's just relaxing to the anxiebetes to here you chat about random stuff x

you look so gorgeous in all of them!! especially the two dresses
I also bought from the bunting shop (P&T) on Etsy and I frikk'n LOVE them! Got the bright colored flower round ones
a trick for all of the yarn you pulled out - use a pencil just to push them inside ✨✨✨ also you are so lovely and the no-bangs look suits you well 💕💫
I've heard you can do the same with a bobby pin
