HEY SOUMY! I have a 1996 Yamaha Wave Raider 1100! Useully runs great! But it stalled twice on me out there....installed new Start/Stop Switch Box & new Starter Solenoid! When I jump the Solenoid terminals it cranks over fine! Nothing when I hit the Green Start Button!!! There in No Power to the White Start/Stop Connector comming from the CDI Box!!! Any idea's?
The 1st thing I did when I got it home was install a new start stop box and a new Starter Solenoid! Still no crank I even put the old Starter Solenoid and the old Start/ Stop switch back in still no power to the white wire that goes up to the start stop switch I need to figure out where I'm losing power out of the CDI box?
The little red button that you were talking about pushing while you hit the start button needs to be pulled out that is a safety so that when you wreck or fall off of your jet ski you have a cord attached to your hand that is a safety key that goes on the red button pulls it out when you fall off so it kills the jet ski so the jet ski doesn't end up on the other side of the lake while you're swimming trying to get it it kills it so basically that button needs to be pulled out not in
You said FIXED... what part of that did you not mean 😂 😂... And no the engine should NOT stop when you hold the stop and start button down, that will only kill power to ur coils.
Nope your doing everything i would. Take the boots appart and clean and dry them real well. Most no sparks problems i have seen. Always come back to the kill switch. Taje it appart and let it dry out.
I had an issue with no spark on my 96 waveventure 1100. Replaced the CDI still no spark. Replaced the stator and started right up.

Replace starter solenoid

Mines got the same problem also. It’s rolls over an wont start an no lights on the dash. Yamaha vx1100
The stator is the issue
I really hope so thanks
Was the stator the issue
@@salvatorem740 it's the actual pickup coil in the stator assembly. Could also jus be loose wire coming from the stator
Mine is the same , no spark thinking it’s the computer
From my experience all I did was to wiggle the battery cables until the check engine light when away
Bro que era el problema yo tengo ese mismo problema
Did you ever figure out the issue? Cdi?
Yep the issue was the stator had actually broken and got mangled by the flywheel
Let me know if that did anything for you sorry if it didn't

The stop but just grounds the coils to stop spark but I would disconnect it to see if it's constant ground

It's the stator that had actually come loose behind the flywheel
I have the exact same issue, but if the starter is bad how does it crank the engine?
i think this problem you got you need another jest ski

Thanks for the reply I eventually found the problem was the stator was torn apart completely.
Soumya Dastidar i have the same problem, is there any way you can send me the link to the part so i can order it please.
