In tournament matches I pretty regularly use almost all of the timer, there’s a lot to think about. Sap is more complicated than chess frfr :100: :triumph: :fire: :fire:

I would try ranked but i feel like i would go crazy waiting on the people taking the full turn timer.
It’s really not that bad, especially in 1v1s. I haven’t encountered a single person yet who just waits out their turn timer every turn to be toxic
I don't really know if it's on purpose or if it's something game server related but literally every time I've played it a player always took the full time
It's ridiculous. No way am I sitting around that long to play SAP. It's not THAT complicated.

for someone that I think is hilarious NL finds a lot of things i think are dumb to be the best thing ever. One of those three games you did off-stream was also one of my first three ranked games! I told my friends "Northernlion is here I have to win" and then got really bad RNG and then threw by making bad decisions. It was fun.
Immediately afterwards Stanz was also in my next match and I had the exact same experience you just described. Pretty sure the game is coded so that I specifically get worse RNG when playing against streamers? The devs should fix that bug.
To answer your question, the public library is funded by tax dollars.
One thing that we lose in ranked because of the turn timer is the 5 minute long NL rants where he does absolutely nothing in-game and then is like "anyway what was I talking about"

ranked is fantastic for NL. He has time to banter but its limited so the game will move along. Plus, he'll be up against people at his skill level so he wont have as many blown out games, once his elo settles that is. I think he might get upset by the number itself and give up on ranked but I hope not. NL if you read this, if you think you're below average, ranked will mean more wins. if you think you're above average, non-ranked is the way to go.

NL ranking names from 1 to 10, then switching to 1 to 5, just to revert back to out of 10 is insane
They should get the average turn timer after a couple weeks of ranked and add a few seconds then make that the timer, rather than the 2 minutes which seems way too long
