Stationed at Fort Ord. Spent many days in Carmel in 68. Been back. Different now. No bon fires. No camping. Unreal times then. Still, Big Sur is unreal. John Madden has or had a place at the bottom of the hill on the left. Don't know where Clints place is. I do know one thing. A burger will cost 25 bucks. Carmel is millionaire world. And that's ok. Be aware.
Btw. I will visit again. A million memories. Be really cool if Clint was there. Be cool to yap and drink a beer with him. Cool guy. Brilliant actor, director. Watched every movie he's done. Just a really cool guy. As in, Go Ahead, Make My Day. How cool is That ? ❤

One big regret in life was when I visited the restaurant my hero Clint Eastwood was sat two tables away ! I was obviously too polite not to disturb him. I thought if he passes I will attract his attention and just thank him for all the movies I have enjoyed . While I was tucking into a Fistful of Ribs my wife quickly said Clint’s walking past to the toilets! My fingers full of rib sauce I thought catch him on the way back ……he proceeded to walk right by our table up past the bar and out of the restaurant . 😤😤😤😤 A life long ambition ruined !!!
