I loved the slow camera pan up to Don and his crown right after his bugs got wiped out 28 minutes in. He's remarkably patient (at least on camera). Regenerate is one of those random things that make the game so "swingy" in a fun way, like the occasional Rebel Z6 shot from new players who get 5 hit/crits and think they've found the ultimate thing.

Did you know: many lizards can completely or partially regenerate a lost tail. Similarly some Bossks can completely or partially regenerate a lethal number of wounds.

I haven’t played Bossk yet, but it’s nice knowing he can regenerate up to three on his turn. Great job as always. 👍🏼👍🏼

GG guys, it was nice to see the Geonosians doing their thing. I came up and said hi on Thursday and got a sticker I brought back to Iowa. I played a Bossk list a couple weeks ago and had him regenerate a bunch before getting run down by speeder bikes.

I have a tournament coming up when I'm considering using a Gar Saxon/Cad Bane/Bossk list. I tend to roll poorly so there is no guarantee Bossk will ever regenerate, but the list seems like it could be a fun one. I'm also considering an Anakin list but we'll see what I go with in the end.

Been hoping for this - I am currently painting the Shadow Collective box set I got in an auction for $10 (finishing up the Maul-dos tonight) and wanted to see these guys in action. Freaking knocked one off my desk while drying and had him explode - luckily, he can regenerate.

In my games, I havent ever seen Bossk roll regenerate rolls that well! Great game as always!

The black-sun are always so much fun to play against once they get into range 1, plus the regenerating Bossk. Thanks for the game it was entertaining to see the salt crown come out and "death from above" get some play.

@graysquadrongaming8670 Biggest thing I see you do too often is placing your guys in a position where Joe's can shoot them with multiple units. I'm not sure if it's just the excitement of shooting or what, but sometimes it's good to be patient. Joe is a great player, so maybe at the end of each game just ask him what he thinks you could have done differently. I know I'm always looking on ways to shoot units without being shot back.
Now it makes sense why so many people were saying regenerating Bossk. Juat got back into Legion and loving all these vids with the new units.

I didn't think Bosk's ability was that effective, I like the idea of him regenerating, while also bringing a bus to really make him and the other mercs untouchable.

I have really fallen in love with the Geo core unit - either naked or with the 5th trooper. Turns out 6 units with wings can be hard to fit on top of terrain for those DFA shots. Still working on a bug/bossk list I feel good about. Bossk's regenerate is just so much fun - maybe my favorite unique kw.

Fun to watch Geo's do their thing, too bad the dice were not in Don's favor for the mid game.
I do prefer Bossk over IG-88 for the Regenerate key word alone. It always seems to be a key swinging factor in my games with him. It can buy you 1-2 more shots with his weapon before he finally melts.

Your bossk makes better use of regenerate than mine does ... and I think that your quad laser cannon on the bus has better impact than mine as well ;). I don't think that the extra impact actually made a difference though.

Regenerating Bossk. Great character. Btw, Sun Fac has a suppressive gun, and the black sun he shot round 4 only took one suppression. Also how does the truck have impact 3? I only see impact 2 on that gun.
You are correct should have been impact two! As for suppressive that ones on don lol. Luckily neither of these would have changed the outcome come. thanks for watching as always!

I've been playing Bossk for a long while and I've never gotten regenerate to heal more than a single wound, getting two is impressive! The dice were absolutely not doing Don any favors. I thought he might have a chance after Maul went down.

This video makes me want to get a bus for my shadow. A question though. I thought you couldnt re roll dice you have already re rolled? I went to a tournament recently and got called for that.

Black Sun's are broken. There's a reason they've been in the finals undefeated 2 years in a row at worlds. They definitely need a relook.

@@graysquadrongaming8670 I see the argument you gotta get them close but they do range 1-2 better than any other unit in the game for that cost, so they generally just delete any unit they attack.
They have been in the finals but oddly looking at the top 32 not many of them at all. Some really good players using them. Thanks for watching!

@graysquadrongaming8670 I think people just find SC boring from what I've heard most say. They feel overpowered and the options are limited so list building is dull. Doesn't make them any less busted, it's just math. There were far less people playing them.

The curse of the Black Sun continues, they just evaporated that B2 unit :/
They tend to do that
Sun Fac is actually trash. He's 30pt more than a 5 man bug squad. Throws 7 less dice. And all for an extra courage, a dodge turn 1 (as He's generally gonna be away playing the objective and not chilling near poggle) and surge to hit. I think he needs to be lowered to 65-70pt. As is, you can spend an additional 20pt and get Bossk, Cad or a Magna squad.
He feels very untested to me. Just seems like an overcosted Speeder Bike. Seriously, put the 2 side by side and you'll see the similarities. 😅
I agree he doesn’t feel like he strongly fills a role that something doesn’t do better
