  • Well, I eventually released this one, unfortunately you can tell how awkward I am including a few bad jokes involved in it but I think it's important to say how it genuinely has affected my life in different ways especially the impact it actually had on my own self confidence.

    This was incredibly brave and honest off you to do and i am amazed by your self confidence.
    I have experienced meeting on two occasions members of the opposite sex who were put off by my incontinence and use of pads / nappies.
    One just last year at a date , maybe i should have said something sooner but knowing when to tell someone is always scary for me.
    Thankyou for such a difficult video.

    This can be a touchy topic. You are indeed brave for sharing this information, which thank you by the way. Having a chronic illness can be frustrating, especially if someone accuses you of either being lazy or just making it up. I can't control flaring up so if I need to rest, I need to rest.

    • @littlelolikat1600
      @littlelolikat1600  5 років тому +5

      Yes! People can be so quick to not understand chronic illnesses. Apparently theres a whole psychological phenomenon where people struggle to understand or cope with the idea of a chronic illness cause the idea of someone living with constant pain without end is basically too much for some people to cope with.

    Bravo for the video. You and your partner are awesome. And for the record: As a man, I strongly believe that If a man makes you feel unconfortable about stuff like being incontinent or more common things like having the period... he's not worth the effort.

  • @Sketchkat

    Echoing another comment that you’re incredibly brave for putting that message out there; it truly is an insight into “don’t judge people by the cover”, and definitely communication is absolutely key in any relationship, and learning the difference between a partner who’ll love you unconditionally and one who cracks at a misfortune (usually ends in abuse, but seeing the signs firstly, like “why can’t you be normal?” etc.) - learning to accept when to let go of a mistake...
    I’m not incontinent, but now I understand more on what sort of things are appreciated on attempting to be sympathetic/helpful if that ever happens

    • @littlelolikat1600
      @littlelolikat1600  5 років тому +1

      It really is just a case of be supportive and hold someones hand when they go through it. I still even get days where I worry about it because it was drilled into me but just having that person tell me that I'm fine and safe and that he wishes he got there before someone could make me feel that way goes a long way.
      There are so many decent people out there and so many people that dont mind it, that dont just "put up with it". I genuinely used that term because when the mister showed an interest in me I told him that the guy I was with at the time was the only one that could " put up with me" and I believed it because he made me believe that.
      Being with someone that acts like its a privilege now to be with me instead of a chore... Makes a world of difference.

    Hi Kat, thank you for a very honest and open account of your life. I think it will help a lot of your subscribers and others who have watched this video. For me as a dl who likes to wear and use dips (wetting), this throws up other issues. As I'm not incontinent I can't use that as a reason to wear because I would be lying to a prospective girlfriend, and that would be wrong, so I think I would come up against possibly more prejudice or misunderstanding than if I were incontinent and had to wear as a consequence.
    I hope to eventually find a like minded person to spend time with and maybe form a relationship with through sites such as Fetlife, however, the ratio of men to women there seems to stack the odds against me. I've had some internet chats with people saying they are women but it soon becomes obvious they are not as soon as the scary word "meet" raises its ugly head. Then the long term conversations dry up.
    I long to attend a Littles meet sometime to be with like minded people, but of course that's not the place to look for possible partners I don't imagine. Anyhow, your videos are inspiring and entertaining. BTW, has your friend Andrew started a channel yet?

    It is not a universally unappealing characteristic, by any means. As you say, it tends to afflict one somewhat more with age. Fortunately tolerance also tends to increase with age. But also with generation. Such difficulties can certainly a boost to intimacy. Depending on background, it seems to me that to have been raised in Scotland might require somewhat more courage in facing such a problem than many other places.
    I have had serious partners who, despite never having been imagined to have this in mind, there having been so few means of meeting kindred spirits, before the advent of the internet, were, to not put a fine a point on it, seriously up for it. This is three out of about 12. I know a surprising number of guys who are not only supportive of the condition, but enthusiastic carers, even from without the community.
    What I would say, though, is that one should remain aware that interest, even in the unattainable dream, is something which is moderated to the point of banality as a result of repitition, it should not be expected that one's partner will always, every time, be interested in attending to you. Better I think, to allow this to happen sporadically, if longevity of the relationship is something one treasures.
    As a footnote, for other readers, for those interested in finding positive sensations associated with it, not, I know, by any means everybody's cup of tea, the wearing of a pair of the snuggest fitting Tanya or similar PUL pants, beneath the diaper, having made some small perforations in these, can produce a decidedly entertaining experience without engendering spillage. This material, extremely soft and comfortable, comparable to satin, is also breathable, and produces no discernable discomfort whatsoever.

    I'm the same on the level of what your at (I was made inco from an incident with a short out of my nervous system)
    But I've made myself asexual over it, that way It takes a lot of my mind and most have taken it as a plus but my relationships are small but sweet (it's fun a as it lasts)

    This is really helpful and I know how it feels to have to wear 24 7 and alot of other people do not understand and that is why i am afraid to get a girlfriend because i have to wear adult diapers and some women think just because i have to wear adult diapers they think I am a baby and need a mommy to change my adult diaper , how disrespectful of those women that do not understand and like to judge you because i have incontinence.

    you are so strong to talk about this, sometimes you can be very supportive but if the woman is very ashamed it can put paid not only to intimacy but can stop affection too. I have a question though in simple terms if someone is incontinent do they know they need to go but can't hold it? I hope this isn't too personal but this info is hard to come by. 😊

    • @littlelolikat1600

      Honestly, you leak before your bladder is full, so if any liquid is in there you leak. Sometimes, my bladder will get fuller if I have been drinking heavily and I can feel I need to go but it's rare. The constant leaking isnt because your bladder is too full and I dont feel myself leak unless I laugh, sneeze or cough in which case more than usual comes out.

    • @patrickbrownbp
      @patrickbrownbp 5 років тому

      Littlelolikat that's exactly how my wife is she has what they call bladder urge incontinence/overactive bladder where it's the sudden urge to go with leakage before she can make it to the bathroom in time lot of times and she used to get made fun of for using incontinence pads for women during the day and/or at rec sports events and adult diapers at night being at a young age but I just tell her it's a medical problem but it's ok lot of people have this issue

    I'm a nurse. I was a CNA before this. I have a lot of experience helping people with incontinence. Have you been given a specific diagnosis? There are different reasons for incontinence. For instance, has anyone every laughed until they peed? Anyway, even if you don't want the surgery I hope you see a Dr.

    • @littlelolikat1600
      @littlelolikat1600  5 років тому

      I've seen one, more than one, I have damage in the area. I have muscle degeneration and scarring. Doctors can be a bit weird about incontinence here because they don't want to give the discount on incontinence products. The surgery isn't even a legal option.

    Hi, great video. I'm incontinent and also abdl, though I'm very ashamed and embarrassed by both!! My girlfriend puts up with the incontinence and doesn't know about the ab side. I have found that having to wear medical pads/nappies 24/7 I feel that this has somewhat quietened my ab side. My ab side is called Charlotte, named by a very special person who helped me out once when I was really struggling with this.
    My question is, since you've been in dips for so long because you have to use them, have you found your ab side has reduced in intensidy?
    I do wish I could tell my partner how I feel, but I know she wouldn't understand. But I do love her and am willing to leave things as they are......thanks for the great vidieos.......

    • @littlelolikat1600
      @littlelolikat1600  5 років тому +1

      I would say you probably should talk with her. Its not healthy bottling stuff in like that.
      I did used to find dips triggered little space for me but now I think certain ones do it more because I have kinda gone, okay, these are my everyday ones and these ones I will only wear when I feel little. Of course it's kinda such a major part of my personality in general it sneaks out in everyday life anyway. Plus I'm obviously with someone now who embraces that side of me.

      @@craigsheaf3721 I know how you feel. Been like this since I can remember too. At first I felt like freak thinking I must be the only one, or of only a few, that had these feelings. Then I tried to tell myself I would eventually "grow out of that phase". Even when I first got online there were only a few fetish sites that never gave answers to the questions I had. Now the internet is full of people like us and I'm glad to say we don't have to feel like freaks anymore. It seems to be getting better all the time for most of us.

    I have a bit of a scenario where I am a man with bladder incontinence although my friends know including my girlfriend know my parents think my problem isn't 24/7 as such since I still live with them and they yell how I shouldn't wear diapers any time other than when I go to bed saying and I shouldn't have to restock buying a case every month. What would be a better solution do deal with this since I can't move out at the moment

    • @littlelolikat1600
      @littlelolikat1600  4 роки тому

      Honestly, first shot is the doctors, finding out what the cause is. Especially since youre male making sure its not a prostate issue would be of the highest importance. It may be more of just a nuisance right now but making sure there isn't something more severe or dangerous needs to be your first port of call. Its one thing if you know what's causing it, its a whole other kettle of fish if you dont, there may even be a medical fix thats simpler.
