Super Video and Top Quality 👍Love the Setup especially how you show and explain your ventilation. IMO, too many miners overlook this and put in tiny fans, but when the Hot weather comes their miners BOIL
Thank you I appreciate it! I want it to be educational for ppl. Hopefully help ppl built their own mining area. Almost everyone underestimates the amount of airflow needed to keep the miners cool. Im going to make a simple video very soon that shows a little insight on this.
Man I love this shed video, one thing I considered when building my shed, was if mining ever died I could easily reconvert it into another room like an office or something . Your shed on the other hand is an office and so much more, I really wish I was allowed to do what you did, its an amazing space and a great foundation for you to start over!

Yes im blessed that i got to keep my mine shed even though i had to sell miners (thankfully my previous mining paid for the shed). It’ll be a slower build back but i’ve got the right place to do it! …I subbed to your channel im about to check it out!

Great video! Defiantly a cool hot isle design that I might implement into my sheds if crypto comes back which I think it will. Those floor grates look familiar XD! You did a great job on the cost breakdown I was always to lazy to dig up all the receipts for a video.

Yeah I hear ya. I thought about it alot before the ETH Merge, but didnt want to be involved with other ppls gear going into uncertain times. But now that we're in the bear market, anyone whos mining now, knows how rough it can get. SO maybe time to consider it again. Thx for the comment! 🤜🏼

Out of curiosity did the mining you did with the asics pay for the building costs? Not including the asics themselves.
I was both ASIC & GPU mining at the time, and before the bear market came, mining profits paid off about 85% of the entire cost. As of this moment the building itself has about a $3k balance on it (paid by monthly payment), but everything else, All electric install costs, building materials, and mining hardware you see inside, has been fully paid for by mining profits.
Why are you not going to be doing ASIC's anymore? Is it because of consumer level pricing on equipment? Because there are many ways around that.
No its not that. Its that I dont think its wise for a small miner to play the same game as huge corporate miners with millions of dollars in miners and a power rate that is 25% that of a residential rate. Im much more likely to win as a big fish in a small pond. Also ASIC’s have horrible electric efficiency, and I want my farm to be very power efficient

very informative. What about cashing out and taxes?
Try to keep as much of it on a US Based exchange as I can (like CoinBase) which keeps track of all mining/buy/sell prices. Makes taxes easier. Also use crypto tax software like TaxBit. Then report taxes as normal.

Yes, most ASIC needs 2600w-3600w.
