I send out 100's of polybags with all kinds of odd shapes and curves inside and the labels wrapped around every way you could imagine. I've never had any issues with the packages getting delivered. It just makes the postal worker's job a little easier if the label is perfectly flat on one side of the package but it is by no means a requirement.
Yup as long as each of those parts are flat across their entire width, the machines will scan no problem. You just cant have the bar code bent in vertically anywhere or it can cause issues. Ive even cut the label up into sections to stick it on more oddly shaped packages to ensure the parts that matter were flat. Just have to think of a scanner at the self checkouts, they can read almost anything as long as you don't have a wrinkle in it to badly.
Yeah, I also never had an issue shipping 3x3x3 boxes. But if bigger boxes makes your workflow easier and more standard in shipping supply inventory then I am all for it.
@@FlatlineBob Agreed! Infrastructure can be some of the most time costly part of business, so standardizing boxes to make process easier, can be a huge improvement. Might take a more expensive box to ship a smaller item and waste space in that box, but the time savings is way more than the cost of the box specific to fitting just that time. Personally I aim to have 3 boxes standard, where the smaller 2 can fit into the larger if need to do a multi box solution for packing securely.
FYI if you want to save money on filament, bambu uses sunlu and eSun as their suppliers, as for the RFID i believe it has been hacked. also as you scale and i hope you do, sunlu can be had for around 7-8 a roll DDP from china.
Yup why both print amazingly with the bambu PLA default profiles. Only thing I wish is if I created a custom filament setting it would sync the machine to select when I change the filament there so its easy to sync back to the slicer in a click.
If you're gonna be bringing the customers yourself though social media (youtube, reddit, instagram, etc) you might want to set up your own store using shopify or similar. Etsy is great because it comes with a built-in customer base, and they take a significant fee because of that. Bringing your own customers to etsy basically means you're giving money to them for nothing. I'd advise keeping your etsy store for that organic traffic, and sending all other people from social media and ads to your own store. Something to think about!
I've been selling exclusively on eBay, but today I synchronised all my products over to Etsy. Maybe you should consider doing the same for other platforms?
Do you find it harder to sell products from more than one niches? I have been told from youtube videos and so on that you should have a single niche for your store, this has led me to ditch several product ideas because they differ from each other too much.

Congrats on the sales. Long ago someone told me sales solve problems. They certainly make you feel good
No issues using smaller boxes, just have the label go over the edge and make sure the address is visible on one side and the barcode on the other.

Good place to drive sales are in Facebook groups related to the products whose problems you're solving.

I’m curious whether or not this is your full time job or more of a “by the side gig”?
He says at the beginning of the video that he works in digital advertising in his "day job".
@@philcarpenter Ah my bad, had'nt had the time to actually watch the video yet. It's in my "Watch later" folder.
Thanks for the answer tho!
Just tried to open an Etsy store and got it immediately suspended. Anyone have any ideas? I've looked all over for an answer and cant find anything.
