It is generally found in plants without high enough quantity to ever be worth extracting. Also my guess is the parasite he has is a mind altering parasite. I can confirm PTSD from car wrecks. A few years ago my daughter and I were driving in a massive storm at night. She was driving, thank God. But there was one point where it had me so terrified, and flashing scenes of my bad wreck from 93, that had the door not been locked, I would have opened it and jumped out on the highway. I actually tried to open it, started sobbing and almost peed my pants. The rain was so loud and my daughter was concentrating so hard on the road, she didn't know what was happening until she saw me go into a fetal position in the seat. Whenever there is anything from moderate rain to a massive storm, and I happen to be on the road, I have to pull over and wait it out. I'm also constantly worried in traffic if I'm on the inside lane to oncoming traffic. Way more so in rain than dry weather. I try really hard to distract myself but sometimes it's impossible to do.
Ya I dealt with PTSD from a car accident with my best friend when we were 20 and he passed away. I seen him ripped apart but was able to calm him and got him to pray. And he passed. PTSD ate me up for years and years I struggled. Never did drugs my whole life and turned to drugs . It was a deep dark Place. I worked through it and I am okay today and I can reflect .
I'd strongly recommend you look into eft tapping therapy. You should be able to greatly reduce the severity of that phobia, with a qualified practitioner.

I think being forced to do so, knowing I had to, has helped a lot. I still remember it vividly. Although someone else in charge of a vehicle in rain like that, being at the mercy of someone else's ability, scares me still.

I can confirm PTSD from car wrecks.
A few years ago my daughter and I were driving in a massive storm at night. She was driving, thank God. But there was one point where it had me so terrified, and flashing scenes of my bad wreck from 93, that had the door not been locked, I would have opened it and jumped out on the highway. I actually tried to open it, started sobbing and almost peed my pants. The rain was so loud and my daughter was concentrating so hard on the road, she didn't know what was happening until she saw me go into a fetal position in the seat.
Whenever there is anything from moderate rain to a massive storm, and I happen to be on the road, I have to pull over and wait it out.
I'm also constantly worried in traffic if I'm on the inside lane to oncoming traffic. Way more so in rain than dry weather.
I try really hard to distract myself but sometimes it's impossible to do.

Ya I dealt with PTSD from a car accident with my best friend when we were 20 and he passed away. I seen him ripped apart but was able to calm him and got him to pray. And he passed. PTSD ate me up for years and years I struggled. Never did drugs my whole life and turned to drugs . It was a deep dark
Place. I worked through it and I am okay today and I can reflect .
I'd strongly recommend you look into eft tapping therapy. You should be able to greatly reduce the severity of that phobia, with a qualified practitioner.

Since then, I've been stuck twice in as bad of storms but couldn't pull over to wait them out. I think being forced to do so, knowing I had to, has helped a lot. I still remember it vividly.
Although someone else in charge of a vehicle in rain like that, being at the mercy of someone else's ability, scares me still.
I only figured out I have PTSD after listening to a combat veteran talking about his experiences waking up in the middle of the night with his memories swimming around in his head. It was the first time I could tell someone else knew what I was going through

Idk why people are saying Wren should "stop traveling" when he's doing humanitarian work. Like yeah, it sounds dangerous, but I'd never try to stop a person who was willing to go help people from going to help them. Not all of us are able to go so far to help others. Some of us need to help the people where they live. But we should all be helping others. Even if we can only give a day or two a month, or a couple hundred a year, we should all try.
