Junoon is sweeping melodies all over the world with their love for eastern mystical Sufi music. For the last twenty-five years, this amazing band entwined the music lovers with magical euphony of Sufism. The band’s career has numerous blockbuster hits. Junoon wrapped the fifth edition of ‘Dhaka International FolkFest’ and the experience of witnessing them on the stage is unforgettable.
An initiative of Sun Foundation; ‘Dhaka International FolkFest’ is a celebration of sheer musical brilliance where myriads of folk artistes from home and abroad perform on a single platform.
দুই যুগেরও বেশি সময় ধরে সুফি গান দিয়ে দর্শকদের আচ্ছন্ন করে রেখেছে ‘জুনুন’। বাংলাদেশের দর্শকদের কাছেও তুঙ্গস্পর্শী জনপ্রিয়তা রয়েছে এ ব্যান্ডটির। ‘ঢাকা ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ফোকফেস্ট’-এর পঞ্চম আসরে জনপ্রিয় এই ব্যান্ডের অসাধারণ পরিবেশনা প্রাণভরে উপভোগ করেন দর্শক।
সান ফাউন্ডেশনের উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত ‘ঢাকা ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ফোকফেস্ট’ লোকসংগীতের এক মিলনমেলা। এ উৎসবে বিশ্বের নানা প্রান্তের লোকসংগীত শিল্পীদের পরিবেশনায় অসাধারণ সব লোকগান শোনার সুযোগ পায় বাংলাদেশের মানুষ।

Amazing performance! Evergreen as it was 25 years back! We people of BD love Junnon for almost 3 decades. It brings my childhood back to memory! Love from BD. I am die-hard fan of Junnon.
They put all the stupid ministers and aged person in the front. How rubbish! they should sit back and let the dancers come forward who are trying to show the response to the legends united after a long break.

২০০০ইংরেজির দিকে জুনুন ব্যান্ডের(অন্য লাইনআপ ছিলো) সেইওনি গান শুনে ব্যান্ডের পোকা মাথায় ঢুকে, এই গানটা চাইল্ডহুড মেমোরি তে এখনো গেথে আছে।
তারপর আমাদের প্রয়াত #আইয়ুব_বাচ্চু স্যারের গীটার প্লেয়িং এ গীটার যন্ত্র মাথায় ডুকে আর এখনো আছি।

Bro, I'm a Bangladeshi. This song used to be telecast on ATN Bangla in 1998. This generation will not get it. People are acting as if we should mix politics everywhere. Music has no boundary but some groups of Bangladeshis try to find allergy in Pakistani songs. Me, as a music lover listen all kinds of music and all country's music. Because I play guitar and know how to respect musicians. Music is the only universal language. Take a bow to Junoon's legacy.

i was there in the folkfest, all of us the crazy ones where in the back where the crowd was totally fire, he complained why we, the junoonis where left in the back while the boring vip crowd were allowed front.
