@@alaaaltamimi3382 I've been doing this job for 11 years. All you ever put up with in this industry is stupid clueless people all the time who are a pain in the arse. And you pick up after other lazy drivers. You are constantly refuelling, adblue filling, and cleaning out the coaches the day after someone else carelessly abandons them. Its constantly like that in this job and unless you are prepared to be doing that every evening. Don't look at coach driving.
I understand the need for these safety announcements given all the legislation travel companies have to abide by now, but still pine for the days when we didn't have to listen to any of it!
I'm a full time coach driver and its not mandatory or compulsory for travel companies and coach hire operators to do this. Safety announcements are not legislation they are company policy. However, coaches must have legal notices on display inside the vehicle such as vehicle height, seating capacity/Crew plate, first aid kit notice, fire extinguisher notice, VIN Plate, Emergency exit labels, seatbelts must be worn. These are known as legal notices and the DVSA officers must be able to see them on a roadsode check or during an MOT test. By law the driver does not have to say anything at all nor do they have to play 'Safety tapes' nor do they have to tell you not to smoke, nor do they have to tell you to wear a seatbelt. You don't have to listen to it and there is no legal obligation for you to listen to it. I have had this arguement many, many times with clueless passengers. When they've been angry or upset and they've argued that safety explanations and breifings were not explained and said I had a duty to say tell them or play a safety tape. To put it bluntly no I don't and if you think that then you couldn't be more wrong. The PCV driving test says you MUST point out all the legal notices in the vehicle and you can do this without speaking. The test does not require you to address, or speak to passengers on a microphone. I hope this helps
Well legally, if seatbelts are fitted to bus or coach, passengers must be informed of the legal need to wear a seatbelt. Apart from that, I don’t think everything else mentioned was a legal requirement, although useful.
That is very good driving given that there is not much leeway with a wide vehicle like a coach or bus in the lanes. Having to actively scan the traffic directly in front, ahead, behind as to what is coming up alongside in the mirrors. It a multi-tasking role, not just sitting in a seat getting from point A to point B. I drive coaches so I know what I am talking about, kudos to the driver, but those announcements would drive me up the wall! lol
Terrible driving comment must be based on lane keeping, apart from that it was amazing driving. As a category D holder she was straddling when required. I saw nothing wrong with her driving.
@@khaldino231 I mean to be honest it would be pretty hard to lane keep in the middle of London. Yep, like you I cannot find fault with this driving. Probably just someone thinking they can do better😂

Amazing job this driver did 👍🏽take your time is key
Do they have to listen to all of that? It's really overkill.
National Express Drivers are La creme de la creme.
Health and safety gone mad
At least three near accidents caused by cyclists. I hope Jereny Vine is watching. 🤬
Although being a car driver, this is the best way to travel in and out of big cities like London.
The only emergency is when someone takes a sh*t and makes the coach smell 🤣…😭
FRRR 😂
LOL
i would have closed the window blind at the front ,so passengers get a better view ahead .it was not sunny
I do not think the driver put the air brake (hand brake) on once or did she.
yes she did
Excellent driving

H&S requirements. This way the company/driver also cover their backs, as in this day and age people love to complain about everything
@@TheAviationChannel Also for insurance purposes, and wearing a belt may just keep passengers a little more secure, in the event of a crunch.
Why do coach drivers have to wear a hi--viz vest? Hardly a smart look......never seen many pilots wearing them in the cockpit.
straddle yea
Seemed to be a smooth ride............
Was on the motorway but not through London gopro smoothed it out with a capital smoo.
