Herta and Himeko are the only reason I've been able to clear Pure Fiction. My Herta and Himeko aren't that well built so i used a break effect Ruan Mei build so she can buff them while also contributing a substantial amount of dmg due to the frequent breaks. I've also noticed that fire MC is pretty good in this team since they're incredibly efficient at breaking fire weak enemies. I still need a decent second team though. Building Serval from scratch would be such a hassle so im just hoping that my Danil manages to get 25k points and the second team should cover the rest.

If you have other 5* unit - you should use them! first half - kafka blackswan dominate there Second half Himeko and herta together dominate there as well!

Tl:Dr : Viable at E2+, too many competitor now. My honest opinion is, if he's at E0 don't do it - unless you're really craving for Ice DPS with random hit on Ult unless only 1-2 targets left, reason being : 1. Jingliu exists in MoC as a queen - much lower investment - higher ceiling - higher reward. 2. If pure fiction - Herta exist - Funny enough If you put a god relic from Misha into Herta. Then the performance is not that far off considering not many unit for herta to spin - and If herta get to spin a lot... 3. If you want to use him as a freezer for DoT dmg push in non-kafka team - Play march7th? March7th + pela/gui should perform similarly as E2 Misha+ other sustain unit. If you still want to build him - recommended at least E2+ ; E4 and E6 is also a good spike. I must admit that his toughness depletion ability on Ult is insane. And if you have some plan with him, and spare resource you can try it with your favorite team!

My Sampo is E2 but he is definitely necessary for me as I do not have anyone else to help Serval in first team... So I will try to build him as adviced here! My only issue is that I have fully built Bronya and Sparkle and no built Tingyun.. But Tingyun somehow feels stronger and more important with what she provides than them. Can I replace Tingyun with Bronya/Sparkle? Is Sampo E2 not worth building? 😢
you can do bronya + sparkle in serval team - that combo is strong enough to ignore Pure fiction buff! Sampo E2.. I think you can wait - focus on tingyun first!

Ye My consciousness was so bad right from the start, I can’t even press M7 Ult in time since the beginning of the fight lol. About LC - if your team give tdm% - new LC is better, if your team give crit, breakfast is slightly better. - 4* harmony doesn’t give crit stat tho.
I have tryed the first room with a full dot Team and the last buff with healing and advancing forward. Maybe you can replace march with guinaifen? Would be interesting if it works.
If I pull out another nihility LC (which at this point probably eye of the prey which is gacha exclusive) should works. But take note that I actually relies on AoE DoT by a lot on this one - treating it similarly to AoE bomb from first PF. Plus with that team you cannot manipulate aggro on third wave - means Yanqing can randomly freeze your strong unit and you lose some score - Unlike M7 situation where she can partially manipulate aggro here! I'll test it and update the result for you later :D
Herta doesn't need to move much. her job is when she moves - she must proc her follow-up attack right away. this means her skill and her ult must be able to reduce enemy hp to

Herta himeko should give you a free 40K
so you just have to get 20k on first half, good luck!

You can use easier team for first half - for Example Kafka or black swan
if you have himeko - remove pela or tingyun and use her instead.

She can stack her spin infinitely as long as you kill the whole wave from > 50% hp with an attack - until you failed to do so then herta will spin!
