I had no idea this existed! I use proxies because i play super casually with friends and dont want to spend heaps. I just print them off on normal paper, good enough for me lol
I love using proxies when I play with my friends, especially for beautiful lands and cosmetic cards, because otherwise the power creep gets out of hand XD

Proxy's are such a lovely thing. Like no one wants to pay a hundred bucks for one card. There is a nice dopamine boost from pulling expensive real cards though

Must admit I have mixed feeling about proxies. I use a couple proxies every now and then, when I'm still waiting for a card or two arriving in the mail. But I have a problem when I see people printing "expensive" proxy decks they find on EDHRec, that they never plan on actually buying the cards for, and play those decks on the regular...

But on organized play it would make people who spent so much money on proper cards very unhappy. So it's very good that proxies are noticeably different to original cards.

The proxies themselves are not that valuable obviously. They are just proxies of very valuable cards, and the scanner recognizes them as the actual original cards
These packs are cool, but I wish they'd remove some of the chaff. Some of the old cards aren't great, they're only 'valuable' because they're old, not because people actually want to play with them. There are so many other cards like master pieces they could proxy. Good video though, proxies are cool.
Funny boosters. I have nothing against proxies, but I wouldn't like my friends to show up with some of these ;) I wonder how they manage to not be harassed by Hasbro lawyers 24/7.

I was wondering why graded MTG started increasing in price lately. "Replica proxies" could be the reason.
Put those in a sleeve and they would not be easily discernable. Just saying. I'm sure someone will try to use them to counterfeit cards somehow.
