I'm a newbie to ur channel, and I must say that your excitement is definitely contagious!
I'm in my early 50's ,but we just bought our little white 1940's cottage here in Texas 3 years ago, and I've struggled to really get "my" style figured out. I absolutely LOVE all things vintage/antique and have quite a few really nice pieces. But, I always tend to second guess myself when it comes to pulling it all together, so thanks for showing us how you style your thrift finds in your home.
As a matter of fact, just today, I was at a GW in my little town and was in the back looking at all their furniture when all of a sudden, they put a vintage clothing armoire out right there in front of me.
I was the first one to it, took a quick look, grabbed that tag and ran to the register, and paid for it! LOL!!
I couldn't believe it!!
It was $99.99, but it was well worth it.
I've been in a bit of a mental block here lately with my bedroom and guest room, but your videos and my new armoire have given me the inspiration to get busy, so thank you!!!

Oh sweet Maranda you found some awesome pieces in this haul. I especially loved the glass lamp you found. My mom passed away several years ago and my sister had a similar looking one that my mom had bought and displayed in her kitchen for years. My sister really didn't have room for it any longer so she gave it to me. It now sits on my kitchen counter where it will stay. It is so beautiful when turned on and makes me smile everytime I look at it and think how many times mom must of loved looking at it in her own kitchen. Miss her so much. Really enjoyed seeing all your finds again Maranda and just how excited you get showing us the pieces. You are the sweetest.💛

I just love everything so much! The aprons are just precious and remind me of my mom and grandma, and I love wearing them. The dish for bones would also be a beautiful soap dish. So many beautiful items that you found. Can’t wait to see how you style everything.

I moved from our state's capital to a county that was considered so geographically remote that for about 5 decades,it functioned as an independent state within our state, which was near my old hometown. When we moved back, our county had zero thrift stores, but the neighboring counties had several, so I could get some degree of my fix for thrifting. I feel your pain. 💔

Maranda, I have that exact copper candle snuffer! It was my mom's and I'm 71 and I've had it for many years.. it's really old! I love mine too.. its so unique! Great find❤

8:05 nice chest of drawers back there. The brass carousel horse trivet is really cute. I love the basket with the liner. They’re so great for organizing.
This video made my heart sing after seeing those goblets. My aunt had those at her house and we used to have our sweet tea in them on Sundays when visiting her family and my grandparents at her home. Also that apron reminded me of my other grandma that used them all the time❤ That glass lamp and the glow on your kitchen wall was to die for! Lastly hanging those pictures differently was the icing on the cake! 😅 PS now I need some of those antique brass hooks!

The blue and white caddy is the Blue Calico pattern- I have a big collection of Blue Calico China by Burleigh in England. I love it so much!! Look that up and it might help you. I have seen other bits and pieces in the Blue Calico pattern at thrift stores and sometimes even TJ Maxx etc - I don’t think Burleigh is doing the China anymore…anyway maybe that will help as you try to learn more about that darling blue calico find!!! 😊 such great thrifting finds!! So glad I found your channel!

The blue piece holds toothbrushes, tube of toothpaste, a cup and a bar is soap. The piece on top of the lamp is a finial.
I love that cat planter and I have a green version of the other planter you showed that was with it (the little boy and girl)
So, so pleased that you moved those pictures higher on the wall beside your fridge!! It was frustrating to me when they were sort of behind the fridge. 😊 And the aprons and reusable bags are perfect on the hook underneath.

Gorgeous finds! The lamp with the pattern on the wall is stunning! And the tartan throw is beautiful. I have already decided I am doing a Ralph Lauren inspired Christmas for 2024... I would love to find throws like this! And the sugar and creamer had such a unique shape. Of course, anything blue and white captures my heart.

Great find on the wool blanket from Scotland….I went to Scotland about 7 years ago and I can tell you, that blanket was probably 100s of dollars when originally purchased.

You found some beautiful treasures! Each time you have hauls like this I tell my Kentucky born hubby - we need to drive down there from Michigan to shop. LOL! The wool blanket you shared at 25:15 is a "Royal" Stewart tartan. Probably the most common seen in merchandising over in the UK. I have one also that my son brought me back after visiting his cousins in Scotland. But, in my family Stewart is used often (my Dad's name, my son's middle, my grandson's middle etc.) Mary Queen of Scots was also a Stewart but she spelled it Stuart (the French spelling) because she spent most of her life in France. Anyhow, I use mine at Christmas time as well. I hope you enjoy it!

The Blue color on the Victorian piece is outstanding. Your aprons are very cute. I have some that are from the 1920s. They show a lot of wear, but that is what makes them special. The wall in your kitchen looks great and I like the idea of the brass hooks on the wall under the pictures.! God bless❤

Nice finds! I am on the hunt for clear glass corn on the cob holders. I found 1 at Goodwill, then found a set of 6 ceramic ones at a flea market. I bought them but if I find glass ones, I will switch them out for sure! I think the space you thought was for hand soap dispenser is for a cup. I think the magazine rack said it was brass plated. If you resell it, you should make sure it says that.
Yes it’s absolutely brass plated! ☺️ however I’m not selling it! It is being used as a display piece in my booth to hold picture frames and then one day if I no longer have a booth I’ll bring it home to store books or blankets in. It’s so, so beautiful I hope to always keep it ❤️❤️❤️

That apron is so you! That material is so farmhouse perfect. Really like your glass coasters. I have used glass ones before but found the condensation from my drinking glass would make my glass adhere to the coaster when I lifted it and it would release from my glass in midair. Hopefully yours will not do that because they are too pretty to break. Great haul! Blessings to you from your 🕷️ friend.

20:58 the little glass lamp, I found two of them, separately actually, and I have them in my bathroom. I leave them on over night so I don’t have to turn on the big light lol those are great! Love it in your kitchen!
Your magazine rack will be great for towels, also I have a mirror tray that I'm trying to repair and don't know where to go. Oh Lord I have a night light lamp that I also love so much. Your bathroom organizer, I believe is Victoriaware. Victoriaware is a modern ironstone reproduction sold in home decor catalogs. Probably 1990s. Ive never seen that particular piece before!
Yes from what I’ve found it absolutely looks to be Victoria ware! I have been able to find the soap dish online but haven’t been able to find this piece. I love it 💙
