Jesus could handle suffering. His purpose was to suffer in our place in order than we might go free. Why the double jeopardy? He was the God Man and we are just fallen men and women. Why then did He heal all that came to Him? Why are we so proud that we believe we can complete His job? Jesus came to be our Load Bearer not us. You have heard of mind over matter? Why cannot we claim His grace over our matter? Put in another way His pain is supposed to be our gain is it not? Why do we plead the blood and are not grateful that His flesh was consumed instead of ours? I do not believe I can do as good a job at pain bearing as Jesus. Why do you? I am terrible at pain bearing therefore is He alone not strong enough? I wonder what you think of my comments concerning these issues?
