More About 'American Gods': American Gods is a Hugo and Nebula Award-winning novel by English author Neil Gaiman. The novel is a blend of Americana, fantasy, and various strands of ancient and modern mythology, all centering on the mysterious and taciturn Shadow. Several of the themes touched upon in the book were previously glimpsed in The Sandman comic book series. The book was published in 2001 by Headline in the United Kingdom and by William Morrow in the United States. A special tenth anniversary edition, with the "author's preferred text" and including an additional 12,000 words, was published by William Morrow in June 2011. The text is identical to the signed and numbered limited edition that was released by Hill House Publishers in 2003. This version of the text has also been in print from Headline, Gaiman's publisher in the UK since 2005. The tenth anniversary edition marks the first time the author's preferred text has been available in wide release outside the UK. Gaiman also did a very extensive sold-out book tour celebrating the tenth anniversary and promoting this book in 2011.

Loved his interaction with Laura - their scenes together made HER much more likable than her backstory in episode 4. Very funny the way she flicks him around with her new found strength and the insults he spews at her.
Pablo is so cute.........Love him as Mad Sweeney! He is doing a great job!
Between this and 'Orange' I've never seen Pablo just talking in his normal voice.
P l e a s e fix the volume variation between the video and the end screen. The volume on the video is low and the end screen volume just about threw me out of my chair.
I am so gald Mad Sweeney will get more screen time. I always felt he deserves more story line, along with Laura. I hope they'll cover his back story as well in the show.
If there was a spin-off starring him, I would watch it. His character is very interesting, him pairing with Dead Wife was priceless, and he does deserve to shine as much as Mr. Wednesday and Shadow.
I adore Mad Sweeney, I was ecstatic to find out he's in more than one episode.

Yup, mad Sweeney killing it...except he didn’t complete his task of dead wife, and he had a chance to kill two birds with one stone; kill dead wife and get coin back...but then his past came back and kicked him (see Emily brown as thief, odd how she portrayed his worshipper from long ago).
It was clearly Mad Sweeney who killed those Tech Henchmen. It shows the clip in this vid.
That's the shot of Sweeney breaking into Laura's grave from episode 3, but yeah, I also think it was Sweeney that killed those goons while *Backstage* ;)
