It is worth noting that SW uses 'standard' CAD file types: PART, ASSEMBLY and DRAWING, while F360 challenges this norm with universal PART-ASSEBMLY files (and DRAWING as well). As a mechanical engineer myself I advise to try and learn both these systems because it helps sharpen a mind as well as to think of your parts in a little bit more unorthodox way.
catia is the most professional and hard to learn out of the three. fusion 360 is the youngest and most limited out of the three, but the most user friendly. solidworks is in the middle of both
