The fucked up thing is? Depending on what that Hero player had in his Extra Deck, he could have EASILY won on that last turn. If he summoned Vision Hero Trinity, and boosted him with Honest Neos, he would've had an monster with 7500 attack points that could attack three times.
Not depending on what he had in his extra deck. He could've won with just the cards he had if he played it better. Even after he screwed up the combo, not blowing up dpe to keep the attack reduction would've been a good start.

Just gonna say the hero guy gravely misplayed if he grabbed adjusted gold and went into malicious bane would've been game, Dumping malicious bane going into dpe and extending malicious into more bodies on the board would've been game, and making trinity would've been game. 3 plays I didn't see at all but, in all fairness sykunno would've won but gave him a homie drop so 🤷.
He definitely did. There's no way a Diamond rank player is going out that easy. Sykkuno mentioned that he has dueled with that person a few times before, so maybe he let Sykkuno win because he knew it was being livestreamed and didn't wanna come off as too brutal.
Diamond Rank chose a HERO deck probably because Sykkuno doesn't want to face meta. It would be kinda boring if the diamond rank player used his meta deck.

First of all, he should search for Magician's Salvation, not E Soul. Second, I don't think the Hero player was trying his best at all. No hero player skips their first turn to OTK, for one thing. Another, there are so many options he could've done, but his plays would be REALLY long. Even if dmdk is unaffected and protects backrow, Heros can just set up for a 3100+ beater and DPE. The moment he tries to use Eternal Soul. he can just chain DPE.
Syk literally says he has played with that player several times, and they are a viewer. They prob playing very casual & doing misplays that Sykkuno usually does...to spice it up for stream. Not like he needs to always play omega optimized lol.
He literally explained it right after he said dark law lol. He was used to Dark Law being the best card in his hero deck for a while, and then was going on about "the best card in this deck (DPE)" but out of habit said dark law.
Casual match, probably on purpose misplays to spice up the match or make it interesting to see how Syk would respond / spice up the stream. Not like he needs to sweat against a streamer that plays the game at a pretty casual level. Especially if it is their favorite streamer.
Diamond rank player probably wasn't using his main deck. Sykkuno mentioned before he doesn't really like playing overly meta decks so that's probably why he chose a weaker deck he probably isn't too familiar with.
