Actually really happy with Lego city winning it this year, they were my favourite theme when I was younger. Also Jeremy that hammy jumpscare in the friends calendar was really well done. But that being said thanks so much for bringing back this advent calendar thing Jeremy, I wasn’t sure if you would but I’m so happy you did, it really makes Christmas a lot better. I could not have predicted that at the start of advent, although it was clear from the outset City had some really nice minifigures. They also timed their placement very well.

And as a HP fan I think the city calendar 100% deserved the win, it's just better I think. Excellent end to the season, now you just need to print some new fronts for the boxes and have an Easter advent calendar series for lego space, lego dr who, lego whatever you feel like making up. After all, a youtube audience is not just for Christmas.

I can't believe we've come to the end of Advent videos with you Jeremy. I will have to watch them all again! Though my Potter calendar had its moments, it was quite obvious what today was going to bring just like we knew with Star Wars and had strong hunches about the others as we went along. Agreed on wishing for a Father Christmas Hagrid. We can dream. I need to dig around in my spare parts to see if I can find a better broom. I've really enjoyed this series and I am looking forward to more videos in the future. One thing though, I think you skipped giving star wars any bonus points for the multi day gift of the year.
One point huh? Not gonna lie, even biases aside, I would have put Harry Potter in second place in front of City simply because the builds have a more cohesive color pallot. If this were to occur, Potter would take the win. But hey, what does it matter? All advent calendars kinda suck nowadays or are roughly 50-100% more money than they should be.
Wow, Star Wars really fell short at the end because of the designer's poor choices to not include as many festive builds. That's crazy that City won this year, what a comeback!
Star Wars as destroyed as the Death Star by the bonus points. If only there were more fireplaces in space! Can't complain with Lego City getting a win this year, as they're always trailing. Also Star Wars didn't seem to get any points for multi-gift of the day, did they actually win?? We definitely seem to be seeing the effects of shrinkflation on the calendars, smaller builds, splitting gifts and less figures for Star Wars. Marvel Avengers was a disappointing calendar for the price. Scrooge sentiment Lego! But anyway Merry Christmas Jeremy, thanks once again for all the effort you put in to this. You've made the Advent Calendars your own and given the number of Lego content creators this is one of the best series on UA-cam. It makes opening one so much fun, debating the gifts. I think starwars should have won and it was quite unfair how there were so many extra points for things then didn’t have taking them from 1st to 3rd but it’s your opinion! Love your videos!

It seems to favour those calendars with loads of filler - exactly what gets penalised throughout the days leading to the 24th only to get rewarded at the end. It’s sort of contradictory imho.

While Star Wars is my favorite overall Lego theme next to Harry Potter, they really don't do well with christmas. The figures are great, sure, but the builds are non festive, a real shame! It appears your Ewok has attempted the cinnamon challenge Jeremy 😅 You left out the HP fireplace for the final setup, which goes between doors 7 and 17. You can see that Lego provided a chimney at the Three Broomsticks. Hammy would look great on top of the Avengers tree! Brilliant work man! I was regretting the category for complete calendar when still editing the video at midnight and there were definitely a couple of gifts that did not make it. 120 is a lot to wrangle! Ewok is doing well but refused Cinnabon for breakfast. I think he’s off cinnamon forever. Thanks for being a part of the fun. Have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

I dont think they would ever do a MC calendar. Would be difficult to come up with anything that isnt just another minifig or mob. I'm a bit surprised though that they havent made a Ninjago calendar yet. It is their own theme (no licence issues) and very popular, and there is a lot of possibe ideas for gifts, incliding figs, microbuilds,etc

While Star Wars is my favorite overall Lego theme next to Harry Potter, they really don't do well with christmas. The figures are great, sure, but the builds are non festive, a real shame! Hopefully Lego will fix this next year.

Great job again Jeremy. My favourite yearly tradition!! But i cannot fathom why lego decided to put such awful gifts on the last days of Harry Potter and marvel. I just couldnt believe it. The snowman from day 24 wasn't even the best snowman of 2023!

It appears your Ewok has attempted the cinnamon challenge Jeremy 😅 You left out the HP fireplace for the final setup, which goes between doors 7 and 17. You can see that Lego provided a chimney at the Three Broomsticks. Hammy would look great on top of the Avengers tree! Brilliant work man! I was regretting the category for complete calendar when still editing the video at midnight and there were definitely a couple of gifts that did not make it. 120 is a lot to wrangle!
Ewok is doing well but refused Cinnabon for breakfast. I think he’s off cinnamon forever.

I dont think they would ever do a MC calendar. Would be difficult to come up with anything that isnt just another minifig or mob. I'm a bit surprised though that they havent made a Ninjago calendar yet. It is their own theme (no licence issues) and very popular, and there is a lot of possibe ideas for gifts, incliding figs, microbuilds,etc
City deserved the win. Harry Potter and Avengers were disappointing this year.
