Rating - 10/10 - SO MUCH FUN! I legit never thought SPN would have a crossover like this & it was awesome! Seeing the boys as Scooby characters was something I never knew I needed! Then having Cas in there too was an added smile on my face. So fun to watch!

Oh you should see the videos of Jensen, Jared and Misha in the studio doing the voices. They were having an absolute blast, constantly improvising and just laughing throughout.

The kooky episode last season was Regarding Dean. If you remember there was a scene of Dean watching Scooby! This is Supernatural at it absolute best - loved it. There is some BTS footage of the guys recording this episode if you want some further insight.
I'd say supernatural at it's best was the first six seasons but this is one of the great episodes

When I saw this episode for the first time I was laughing the whole time and smiling like a goon XD
This is my highlight in Season 13 to be honest, it's just something different and fun and there're actually some bts how they done it and how the boys felt about doing this, just fyi ;D
You really have to see the special features with Jensen, Jarred and Misha recording the voices for this episode in the studio.... You'll love that!
This is one of my absolute favorite episodes of the whole series cause it's just fun, & the animation is amazing allowing them to do so much, Dean being so extremely happy & excited about being around the Scooby Gang with hints throughout previous seasons of him watching Scooby Doo & talking about how much he loves it. I also love Cass telling him he's not a talking dog when in season 9 there was an episode where Dean was basically a talking dog due to a spell.
I have to confess, I have never seen an episodw of Scooby-Doo, but I loved this episode regardless. It was so funny and i live that Cas was included, too.
My favourite scene is the one where the boys give the poor scooby-gang an existential crisis by telling them ghosts are real, idk, just thought it was hilarious.

I love Scooby Doo and because of this episode it got me intrested in Supernatural. I'm about to start season 3 and I've been told it's gonna be wild! I'm definitely in love with Dean. 🤣🥰

Well, Dakara didn't know about this episode because her modding team is literally 24/7 keeping an eye on comments in her uploads to keep her from getting spoilers. She gets to experience the show the way she deserves. Without expectations and completely blind as to what is to come. Cheers!
I’m not even a Scooby Doo fan and I absolutely loved this, I missed it when it was aired and I never got to watch it, so I’m VERY glad to watch it with you Dakara
This is one of my favourite meta episode that they did, on par with The French Mistake and probably on my top 5 episodes in the series. Loved seeing Dean, Sam and Cas interacting with the Scooby Gang. Also loved seeing the Scooby gang having a mental breakdown, it was hilarious.

This will always go down, as one of my favorite episodes of anything, ever. Scooby gang was a fav of mine growing up and seeing it mixed with Supernatural, gave me such joy.

You can also see Jack watching ScoobyDoo in episode 2, when they arrive at the Hotel waiting for Donatello. I have a request though. When you finish season 13 , can you watch the official season 14 trailer, made by The CW ? You can ask some of your moderators to pick it up for you, so you don't have to search for it on YT. It will be a delight knowing what you think of it. And, eventually, in the reaction (if you want to put it on YT) you can silence the music. For me was the best trailer ever made for SPN. Perfect timing/match between the video and the music. Cheers from Italy.
She never watches trailers, as they contain spoilers. Maybe you can put it on the request list on Discord AFTER she finishes season 14? She might consider watching it then.
Yeah, this kind of episodes got lost during third SPN era. So each episode has its own writer and shows overall season writer or showrunner that writes season story. First 5 seasons or first era was creator of the show Eric Kripke who the left that position and went on to do other shows and is now working another mega popular show "The Boys". Season 6 and 7 or second era showrunner was Sera Gamble who afterwards went on to work on "Aquarius" and created another great show "The Magicians". Third era or seasons 8 to 11 was taken over by until then producer and director Robert Singer (yes that one) and Jeremy Carver who is now working on "Doom Patrol". And the last era was again Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb. So SPN wasn't just jump of point for many talented actors but also many show creators.
I remember some time ago you said something about wanting a crossover with scooby doo but saying like nah I don't think that's gonna happen.., meanwhile I think we were all screamming on the inside thinking about this episode haha so I've been looking forward to this one for a long time! and I'm glad you didn't get spoiled.
Now, a kid ghost on a tv, and Dean talking about how when they were children when his dad left them alone there was always a tv, so he grew up with tv shows, that was his comfort. Him getting rid of that ghost and this season being a lot about parenting and fathers I think means a lot, they go inside of a cartoon and we literally see a cartoon version of Dean with the exaggeration on many things about him, I know some people don't like him going after Daphne through the whole episode but the way I see it, is that it's another exaggeration about his persona, we always have had this "womanizer" mask he puts on, and he loves women of course but he also exaggerates, again mostly in front of Sam, but at the end you can see that he was even jealous of Fred and he actually likes him :D
I love the scooby gang having an existencial crisis over ghosts being real and their lives being a cartoon lol, and the visualization of magic on the spn world!!! the ring of salt with the ghost trapped in there and the magic, something we could only see here in cartoon world but we know it's there just that we don't see it in the show! it's so cool to see that kind of thing we don't have in the usual show.
I love what they did with this episode :) oh and Cas's cartoon version I adoreee, and I'm so glad he was part of the episode too!!!

Yes truly one of my favorite episodes, there are very few tv show that can pull this of and supernatural is one of them. Do not worry Gabriel and Rowena will be back soon :)
This was in the making for a year before it aired. Jared accidentally spoiled that Castiel was alive at the convention the year before.

There are certain episodes of certain shows that I've watched and this one is in top 3 at least. It's something that I was looking forward for a long time. They had been talking about crossover for a while
Found this channel while looking for the scoobynatural episode, and I loved this video as well as the episode.
what a great week starter.... and there it is the ultimate kooky ep that is Scoobynatural... so much fun and like Dean (and a lot of kids) this was one of the many comfort memories from my childhood.... the classic version as I never quite got into it when they introduced Scrappy Doo... loved all the classic bits: the crazy hallway with a ton of doors chase, Fred's crazy traps, and of course the mega sandwich, and the "meddling kids" line making it's appearance....also glad that Cas was included in the fun as well and that Sam made Velma's day..... Dean and that ascot tho.... lol great stuff worth 3 CTU's for you today, D! keep em coming!

Jensen has voiced Under the Red Hood so voice over work is not new for him. His father (an actor) also does this.
He has also just voiced Batman in the new Batman Long Halloween film due out next month.

Great reaction to this crazy episode Dakara! What cartoon would you want to be put into? I would want to be put in Transformers.
Even though Supernatural ended, Jensen has said if they wanted to do a Supernatural movie in the future for whatever reason, he'd be down for it. They were given preferential treatment by the CEO of the CW, so they were told they could keep doing it as long as they wanted to.
Guessing Jared getting the job for Walker Texas Ranger kinda forced their hand to end at 15 seasons, but I'm ok with it, still not watching the last 5 episodes though. Never watch 'em the show never ends.
I haven't even watched season 15 at all yet, keep ignoring anything I see that would tell me anything. But have decided to finish watching dakara until she gets to the end of season 14 and then get it over with. Then will come back and watch the end with her. Sad, but becoming harder to miss what happens in season 15 because a lot of reactors I watch have already done the last season.
