Just did my install per your video. Added a bit of rubber pad between the bolt heads and the trolling motor head. On the fish finder, reversed left/right for the side scan and we're good to go. Thank you very much!
Once it's mounted like that, doesn't the image move left right on the head unit display as the motor moves left/right? How do you go around that? Maybe it's something obvious, but I'm looking to get both a motor and fishfinder and I'd love less clutter in my small boat, this would be perfect. Thanks!
Why can't you just use the slots on the side of the plate like it comes & run a strap through those? Also how is the steering, do you get resistance from the long transducer?
I just mounted my active 3&1 transducer to trollingmotor just like you did. now I am wondering if it is mounted backwards? because what I have read is on the 3&1 transducers the cable is coming out of the front of the unit. on the total scan transducer the cable comes out the back of unit? does it matter?? cause I did mine exactly like you did
I just ordered a 2nd Lowrance Elite Ti2 with active imaging and want to mount it to my Minn Kota Terrova the same way. Do you have any signal intetference problems or cable problems as some have reported? Thanks for the idea.
Not real pretty but it looks like it would work something I might try! Had my heart set on the motor guide pro but soooo many bad reviews I even called a trolling motor service center and they highly recommend against it because of all the part supply problems motor guide is having! Think I’m gonna wait and hope they get this lined out hope yours is problem free!
Thanks for making this video. Do you regularly run your trolling motor around vegetation? Looks like this setup is idiot proof and just works but I would be a little worried with it catching on things. I guess the nicer trolling motors already have nose cones and prop housings this big or bigger. Have you had any issues with the increased bulk? Thanks!
Hey totally off topic, but i have a 17 foot crest liner all welded boat and i have float pods on it like you do. same transducer and i had it mounted on the transom but when the boat isn't moving i pick up all kinds of interference. thinking about moving it to the back of one of the pods but wanted to know if you had any issues with noise or interference running your transducer back there. thanks man.
New subscriber here! That's a great idea. You just saved me some money. Awesome
😎🎣👍
Thanks!

Cool! You’re very welcome!
Do you have to reverse left/right for sidescan? I have the exact same setup as the video
Just saved me a lot of money. I just did it and works great. Used the same screws and all
😊😊😊
Thanks saved me a lot of money simple and effective. Same screws and all
You’re very welcome! 👍😊
transducer is scanning backwards ,wire should be coming out of the front not the rear and yes ,transducers do have a front ad rear and left and right
I reversed the transducer setting on the unit. 👍
Thanks man, great idea. Just got a new Lowrance with the 3 in 1 for the front of my boat. Perfect solution.
You’re very welcome!

Yep! I actually have one transducer on my stern. For the front, I just look where the motor is pointed and use that as a center for the transducer. 👍
Why can't you just use the slots on the side of the plate like it comes & run a strap through those? Also how is the steering, do you get resistance from the long transducer?
The 3-in-1 mount wouldn’t work running the straps through that way. Any no obvious resistance that I can notice. 👍
@@fishyaker Just curious why not? Looks like all that would need to be done is flipping the bracket over.
I took a tube of black 100% silicone and "glued mine to trolling motor😊
how has it held up for you?
Pointing the wrong way, is it not? Do you change setting somewhere on the unit???
Yep, you flip the settings in the unit. 👍
thanks for the info im installing my 3in1 this week on my trolling motor.
You’re very welcome!
Is the rear of the transducer not blocked?
Nope. Just have to switch the direction on the head unit. Works great.
What a great idea! Thanks for the video. Definitely going to give this a try.
Thanks Jeff!
good idea but will your sidescan images be reversed
Yep, but you can reverse it on the head unit. 👍
@@fishyaker great doin thjis next weekend poor man live scope!
Did you have to drill holes into the clamps to attach them through the bracket into the Transducer holes?
Kind of. I punched them out. 👍
@@fishyaker Thanks for the reply,
I've seen you on the river quite a few times, I fish Danville a lot. How has this xducer mount held up for you?
Holding up great, and I beat the snot out of it too! 😁

I turn the transducer around and set it to read reverse on the head unit. 👍
I just hooked up head unit, went to side scan and flipped screen. is the correct thing to do?
Thanks so much, saved me $90. What size hose clamps did you use?
Thanks! I can’t remember the size right off my head. I just eyeballed it at the hardware store. 😉
Did you just run the screws threw the holes in the band ?
Yep! 👍
Thank you for the idea
You’re very welcome, Ethan! Thanks!

You’re very welcome! I haven’t had any issues at all.
This is an EXCELLENT VIDEO! I think i`ll do mine also. What screw did you use underneath to attach the long transducer to the Stainless Steel clamps?
Thanks! I just used the included hardware from the sonar mount. 😊
Excellent.
Thanks!
What do you mean exactly when you say you "BED LINED IT"? Thanks great video.
Sprayed it with raptor liner

Thanks Jim! My Tour Pro has been great. It was worth the wait to get it, even with the manufacturing delays. No issues to report. :-)
So, do you coat the mount with bed liner for a particular reason or just your preference?
Hey man! Is there a legit tackle shop around or is Cabelas and Dunham's the best bets
Near here… Five Mountain Outfitters in Shickshinny or Heritage Baits and Lures in Lime Ridge. 👍
@@fishyaker thanks! Is this the best place to reach you or do you have another location
Did you use the same screws that came with it?
Yep!
