Rufous & Allen's Hummingbird. The Rufous is the one with the rufous back with green spangles.

    "As far as known, Allen's do not show any obvious rufous in their back" (Howell 2002). So perhaps a migrant Rufous?

      It is a Rufous. Perhaps I should just delete it..

      @@DonDesJardin at 0.8min. "says" Allen hummingbird, but waited for a sign of Rufous, so whole is of Rufous? Saw a brown hummer out window this morning and wondered if Allen or Rufous. Very small, flying over ground near Encelia, lower front and back brown , then it flew away before I went out to take better look.Am is V.C. Dont delete vid ,
