联合国促进女童和妇女教育特使彭丽媛参访联合国教科文组织总部并会见总干事/Peng visits UNESCO headquarters and meets with Director General

当地时间5月6日上午，国家主席习近平夫人、联合国教科文组织促进女童和妇女教育特使彭丽媛在巴黎应邀参访联合国教科文组织总部。
彭丽媛抵达时，联合国教科文组织总干事阿祖莱在入口处热情迎接。阿祖莱陪同彭丽媛共同参观“中国与联合国教科文组织合作十年成果展”，高度评价中国为促进全球女童和妇女教育事业发展所作贡献。
在会见阿祖莱时，彭丽媛简要介绍了中国在促进女童和妇女教育事业方面的最新进展，特别是“春蕾计划”取得的成果。彭丽媛表示，我担任联合国教科文组织促进女童和妇女教育特使十年来，到访了许多国家的学校，高兴地看到越来越多女性通过接受教育改变了命运，过上了幸福生活。促进女童和妇女教育事业是一项伟大的事业，关系到社会进步和人类共同命运。中方愿同教科文组织共同努力，推动各方加大对全球女童和妇女教育的投入，帮助更多女性获得平等受教育的权利，共创美好未来。
阿祖莱高度评价彭丽媛担任特使以来所做工作和贡献，表示教科文组织愿同中国加强交流合作，促进全球女童和妇女教育事业取得新发展。
阿祖莱向彭丽媛颁发特使履职十周年荣誉证书。彭丽媛向教科文组织赠送了由“春蕾计划”受益者共同创作的挂毯《春蕾花开》。
On the morning of May 6, local time, Peng Liyuan, wife of President Xi Jinping and UNESCO’s special envoy for promoting girls’ and women’s education, was invited to visit the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
When Peng Liyuan arrived, she was warmly greeted at the entrance by UNESCO Director-General Azoulay. Azoulay accompanied Peng Liyuan to visit the "Exhibition of Achievement of Ten Years of Cooperation between China and UNESCO" and spoke highly of China's contribution to promoting the development of girls' and women's education around the world.
When meeting with Azoulay, Peng Liyuan briefly introduced China's latest progress in promoting girls' and women's education, especially the results achieved by the "Spring Bud Plan". Peng Liyuan said that I have served as UNESCO's special envoy to promote girls' and women's education for ten years and have visited schools in many countries. I am happy to see that more and more women have changed their destiny and lived a happy life through receiving education. Promoting education for girls and women is a great undertaking that is related to social progress and the common destiny of mankind. China is willing to work with UNESCO to promote all parties to increase investment in the education of girls and women around the world, help more women gain equal rights to education, and create a better future together.
Azoulay spoke highly of Peng Liyuan's work and contributions since she became the special envoy, saying that UNESCO is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China to promote new development in the global education of girls and women.
Azoulay presented Peng Liyuan with a certificate of honor marking the tenth anniversary of the performance of her duties as special envoy. Peng Liyuan presented to UNESCO the tapestry "Spring Buds Blooming" co-created by beneficiaries of the "Spring Bud Project".
