Currently resurrecting my late father's 71 +2s. Absolutely can not wait to get behind the wheel and enjoy it. Childhood dream of mine to do so. In the meantime videos like these will have to do!!
Fantastic review, 1st video of yours I have seen and instantly subscribed. Look forward to watching more of your content Sir. Extra points for the hat too 👌
Spent my youth with one of these cars, my Dad rebuilt one chassis up. It was yellow with a silver roof, beautiful car and when he had finished with it it was like new. Great memories
When I was a little girl this car knocked me out for its looks. A guy down the road had a lime green one and it looked, to me, like something that belonged racing at Brands Hatch. Btw, you have an awesome channel (subscribed).
Colin Chapman was a genius, he came up with the ground effect F1 car and now it seems ground effect is the way F1 is going for 2022, forty five years after Mario Andretti walked away with the F1 title in Chapman's car. Lightness was a big thing for him and it shows in his road cars, he said horsepower makes a car fast in a straight line but lightness makes it fast everywhere.
Every 2+2 (and I had a 911S) is best with the rear being a carpeted shelf with luggage straps. There is space in the Lotus for a couple of decent loudspeaker boxes under the shelf.
Why would you open on the parts bin stuff? These cars are prettier than a Miura, and both more practical and less likely to catch fire. These are the most undervalued pedigree classics out there. And you can't have mine. 🎉 Oh, and you'd get better performance if you wore a less blingy watch. Add lightness.

Who would’ve thought that a dining room had the best acoustics to appreciate the bark of an Elan coming to life?
Thank you for your clear descriptions of the feel of the car and the driving experience. Well done.
Thankyou so much 🙏🏼

Ah.... someone who can see what a Lotus is about. Fabulously engaging cars to drive.
Just found your channel - great content sir!
Thankyou so much Frederik! 👍🏼
Steering wheel is not original one. This one is a Moto Lita, after market steering wheel. Original one is Springall, slightly larger.
Sporty car in a large dining hall with a grand piano!!
Right. Could it be anymore better?
Could see this was a '68 car by the black badge (Jim Clark RIP)
I’d love to hear your thoughts on Caterham. Do you find them enjoyable?
I do! I actually own one! Say no more. Must film it some time. Thanks for your comments! 👍🏼
Fabulous
The sexiest car of 1970s
Are they Alfa 105 coupe taillights?
That back seat looks about as comfortable as a church pew, without the headroom.

Two feet longer and wider - so not the same chassis then is it , Yes I have owned one and a lovely motor car !
It's too beautiful. I'm not worthy 😥

The rear lights look like they came from the Stag
Lotus always used to be like a game of I-Spy, lights? mirrors?, door handles? Wasn't the Esprit steering wheel off a Marina?

This guy spits when he talks 😮
Fake watch and dumb hat don't add to the cheesy review.
