I know it's a older video, but I like cruising back on your older work especially when it comes to Aprilia, one of my favorite bike brand! Keep up the good work Ib, Thank you for the insights on all the bikes you share with all of us.
Dude I've always had a hard on for the RSV4 and I legit get giddy when I see a new video come out by you about this. Nobody has ever given this much of an insight on what its like owning one except you. Time to start saving... Keep the vids up man
After viewing some of your videos, over the last few months, I've subscribed to your channel to follow the progression of your RSV4 RF. Ride aware, and "Keep on keeping on!"
That is a gorgeous bike! Sounds like you're having a blast. It sounds like you and the Fastboys need to get better organized. Isn't this at least the second video they've left you hangin'?
thx for the videos man. buying one here in a month or so. i always like to think of how it looks to other people watching you who don't know you're recording. like towards the end, there's just some old guy in the gas station who thinks you're just a crazy man talking to his bike that he just parked.
Early Congrats surpassing 50k Subscribers# ib, & the Aprilia looks Simply Stunning !!! U will love the wheels, lol ... I'm constantly cleaning Senna's red ones !!! ;)
650ib: Try the (S)port throttle setting, as it has a more direct and aggressive throttle map and more engine braking. For the street I have experimented between the settings and I prefer S or T. T and R have less aggressive throttle at partial opening and less engine braking - R has very little engine braking. And if you ever want to come up and do a track day at Calabogie in Ontario, I can get another two RFs together plus mine, probably. We could do a 4-way, lol Interested in seeing how you like the lights.
+qwerty123456789 I prefer the looks of my 2013 Factory, but I have never had a bike that draws attention like the RF or anything even close. Some guy almost drove his pickup truck off the road staring at me one day and I get people frantically waving at me. It strikes a chord with a lot of people, I guess.
Great summary on the bike. I've been leaning towards a 959, but an RSV4 may be in the running for second. If the 959 weren't so sexy, I'd probably get an RSV due to the Duc heat issues.
Hello 650ib...Having had mine since early last summer when they first arrived...I would hold off on the exhaust and possibly ECU upgrade until you fully explore all the different modes and settings. This bike is VERY SPECIAL, will amaze you on how much the electronics can change things up, have only a 2 year window with unlimited miles for a new model to play with, and for 3k+ you only gain 10hp and minimal torque increase. You can set the red light manually when the engine peaks in hp(that is at 11.5k if you like) as it makes no sense to push past this. In the summer I will be possibly have the opportunity to meet up w/an X WSB Aprilia mechanic who will let me know what makes since going forward. If anything comes of this I will pass this along to you. I also reside on the Aprilia forum as phillyAPRILIA... #44 is in the CHI area too but don't know of any others for miles around. With all the top bikes you own and the obvious passion you have for them...you probably know this already but thought best to share my thoughts nonetheless.Enjoy the ride and maybe we will stumble upon each other some day...BE SAFE!!!
+PRIMUS Hey there! Thanks for all of the advice. I installed my Austin Racing GP1R exhaust today and it sounds amazing! Please check my Instagram for a short video clip. I drove through Chicago last week en route to EBR Motorcycles and fell in love with the city!!! I will return soon to visit Dianese in downtown Chicago and visit EBR again. I'd love to meet you. Please email me at 650ib001@gmail.com and we can set something up. I love my RF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will ride it after 3 weeks off due to weather and travel this weekend.
I would recommend led headlights, I ran hid forever then found a set of led that I actually run in all my rides now. opt7 is the brand I think. Just a thought if you want super bright lights and stay cooler than hid.
When you finally get it all tricked out. A RSV4 - R1M comparison would be cool. I know some people are already saying the Apriliia would also make for the perfect track day bike?.
+VimyScout It's not a perfect track day bike. It's too fast. lol Get the RR if you want a track day bike, it's cheaper and it's a gnat's hair away in overall performance. If you want a competitive race bike, the RF is killer or put a TTX shock, NIX cartridges and some lightweight wheels on a RR.
Oh I know, I'm playing with words a bit but I have to tell you that this bike really is faster than most people can deal with. The RF really rewards confidence and smoothness and it is forgiving but it's just so FAST without feeling like it's uncontrollable like, say the S1000RR.
i have a 2015 rsv4rr model here are my pros and cons highs sighs awesome motor and sound mirrors -hard to see great handling handle bar ergos tough for long rides seat is not bad sometimes hard to find neutral decent wind protection awesome brakes all and all when you drive under a overpass and blast the throttle --- there is no other option
cool. I am hearing that these are suffering from bad clutches when you ride these hard EEb so might want to look into getting a heavy duty replacement made
+jack black They aren't suffering from bad clutches. Race starts are hard on ALL clutches. I went through three of them with my 600 this year in racing regionals, and the last race weekend I ran out of spare plates... every shift was slipping. (still managed 2nd overall, lol)
You're getting great mileage on it, I'm actually pretty surprised. My Tuono goes through so much fuel lol, but now that the winter is coming to an end it should get a lot better.
Surely you mean it'll get worse... You get better fuel consumption in cold, crisp air and you're far more likely to have the throttle wide open everywhere when it's hot and sunny :)
aaron0288 I'll have to agree with you on the throttle use when it's beautiful outside, but it's a myth that you get better mileage in the winter: www.greencarreports.com/news/1078126_getting-better-gas-mileage-in-warm-weather-heres-why
+DukeOfDC Wow, that is terrible MPG for a bike, regardless of the fact it's a 1000 (Is the Tuono 1000 or is it 1100 now?) I'm subscribed to you too, maybe it's the new exhaust? But then who the hell cares if it is when it sounds that good :)
I absolutely love the paint on that bike. Would love to ride one some day! I'm looking make the jump from my R6. Any advice? I'm stuck between RSV4, Crossplane R1, or CBR1000RR. I still consider myself a somewhat "new" rider. Have been riding a 600 for 3 years and feel very comfortable on the street. Braking and handling are important to me, as I have been hit twice! Thanks for any advice guys! Love the videos 650!
+timjacobsmedia The RSV4 imho is the most complete package on the market. The R1 in a lot of ways has similar performance and some of the same feel to it, but you will need to flash the ECU just to get within a mile of the fuelling that the Aprilia has. Component quality on the V4 is higher. The RSV4 has considerably better brakes (Brembo 432 calipers, Grimeca rotors) And personally the R1 is outright repulsive-looking. Opinions vary there. I also personally like the looks of the R1 dash but hate digital tachometers.
I'm doing the "New Bike Break In Dance " myself & trying to take it easy until I get to 600 miles & can get the break in oil out. I wish I could have my own Dyno in my garage but my neighbors would be ready to riot & protest in my front yard...LoL
I installed the dark tint Puig double bubble onto mine, it looks great but I'm not impressed with the finish, it looks like it was cut with a hack saw 😒 not clean!
Wednesday here 👌🏼I like how the bike looks from the riders view the stock headlights look like something out of a video game 👀 what's the fuel consumption like ?
Do you guy's have shell V power fuel over there. It's 100 octane and it's all I try and use it's amazing stuff. 95 is UK lowest rating and then 98 99 and then V power 100.
+Jordy Vialoux Hi Jordy. SlasheRR is one of my good buddies and a member of the Cleveland Fast Boyz. He is featured in my video being released tomorrow. He made a joke and I laughed. You might want to think outside the box before jumping to conclusions. You might also take a look at the video I made explaining my career and answering 99% of the comments from that video. Thanks ☺
+650ib How am I supposed to get all of that information from the comments above? So "thinking outside the box" is hardly relevant here mate. I've seen that video... hence I know what you do?
IB, you say HIDs but I gotta recommend a set of LED headlights. The controller(ballast) is smaller than an HID setup. Quick install too. Does the new Aprilia use H4 or H7s?
+650ib I have not tried them personally, but a company called Cyclops comes pretty highly recommended on a few forums I am on. I think the owner even has videos of him dropping his lights under water to prove how they do with water. I believe they do up to 3800 Lumen bulbs with a couple different color temperatures to choose from.
+Adrastos34 Thanks! I saw the Cyclops videos when I was researching. I have to see if they'll fit into the RSV4 headlight housing and connect to the H11 plug.
Hey 650ib I love your videos and I was wondering if you could make one about the five most important upgrades for you on a bike and explain why thank you!
exotic bike master lol. Not gonna lie, I think I'd rather watch something like the 2016 ZX10 (something that I may one day ride). Cool bike anyways though!
#highfive from South Africa! Another fantastic video!! I've said it before, but its really great to get an "everyday man's" review on these bikes. You are one of the few to honestly review them...because you own them. Are you saying this bike will move your R1 to no.2 on the list? :O PS - like everybody else I'm super jelly you have these bikes
+JustplainZero Yes! The RF is more comfortable than the R1M, the engine sounds better and seems faster! The R1M has the number 2 slot right now. LOL! This is subject to change once I get my H2 back from Brock's Performance.
Have you considered the SC project exhaust? Personally I like the look and sound more, to the Austin Racing. Check out RidingWithToms video on his SC project exhaust on his BMW, if you haven't already.
I 'm so glad to see that there are people who rides other bikes than the honda , yamaha , etc.....can u tell me if u ever ride a ktm rc8 or rc8r superbike and if u do ,what do u think about the motorcycle and the brand ktm
+florin colesnicenco I think Ktm bought Husqvarna and Husaberg which are known and have been great brands for supermotos and dirtbikes for very long time... But I think Ktm is best for offroad bikes mainly, and maybe supermotos, but there it stops.... All of their bikes will probably be decent but you can't compare that to a bike like this :) but that's fine, a bike like this is about the best and most beautiful you can buy...
+650ib The Triumph isn't really for me but honestly I have enjoyed every triumph I've ridden to date so it's probably an interesting bike to throw a leg over. I had a Sprint ST for a little while, it had a few little first-year flaws or I'd have kept it more than 5 years. Loved riding it. If I had a Thruxton, I'd have to get it in red or British Racing Green.
Mine's terrible, but saying that I like to keep it singing in 2nd and 3rd as it's just majestic, and worth every penny's worth of the 98 octane burned through
+David Tran Thanks David. I'm still researching LED bulbs. Are the ones you're talking about 'plug and play' and are they at least 3200 lumens? What's the name of them again? Sorry, I'm overloaded with research and forgot the one's you mentioned.
idk why these companies need to plaster there name so big on the side of these bikes... I am not a fan of it. I can't wait to see what kinda numbers its pushing though. THUMBS UP!
it's superpole graphics. most of the bikes you see like that are mimicking race liveries. they are intended to look like the bikes you'd see at worldsuperbike or motogp or something along those lines. for the record though, many companies offer other versions that do not have the same graphics. to each their own.
+Mohammed Mubarak Salaams Mohammed! I'm looking forward to riding with you and checking out your bike!!! Can you please email me so that we can arrange a meet? I keep missing you at State 8. 650ib001@gmail.com
Damn this is one sexy ass bike. I am sorry there no way I would make this beauty as my track bike. She is to damn sexy, I mean damn the details and the paint scheme is incredible. I am sorry 650ib you either make the R1m as a track bike or get a use daytona or r6 as a track bike if it drops who cares. These precious babies Hp4, H2, Ducati, and this machine NO WAY buddy too sexy for the track.
+ARMONI555 You buy superbikes for gas milage? FWIW while it has a slightly larger tank, it goes further than my 2006 GSX-R with "only" 170whp did between pumps. And if Ib cared, then he wouldn't own a H2.
+Steve C Ofc he doesnt care, he's filthy rich! :p Also I think if you drive it relax a lot of the time (not high revs) that you can last really long with it... and the V4 has some extra power compared to 4 in line cylinders, it's a unique bike,
I know it's a older video, but I like cruising back on your older work especially when it comes to Aprilia, one of my favorite bike brand! Keep up the good work Ib, Thank you for the insights on all the bikes you share with all of us.
Thanks for watching these videos!
Can't wait to see - or better, hear - that exhaust upgrade!
i did not know that you watch 650ib? sweet! you two are some of my favourite youtubers!
speedx360SA I do, aways great stuff to see here! And thanks! :D
vc por aqui, ed? foda hehe
Caio Fleury Eu mesmo! hahaha
edcunhaph always a pleasure

I know UA-cam is notorious for not making exhausts sound good, but that bike sounds SWEET!
Best looking tail section of all the liters.
who doesn't like a tuesday surprise vid...thanks 650
Love that bike! It's really nice.If I ever win the lottery, that's the 1st bike I'm gonna buy!
After viewing some of your videos, over the last few months, I've subscribed to your channel to follow the progression of your RSV4 RF. Ride aware, and "Keep on keeping on!"
+The Gray Rider Thanks for subscribing! I should have the RF back next week from getting it's 1st service, exhaust and lever install.
Glad to come back to a bunch of new videos from +650ib bravo
Where have you been?
+650ib I've been extremely busy starting a new business. Glad to see you've been putting out consistent new vids.
Leg day had me about to crash. Then I see 650ib notification. That's what I'm talking about!
+TJ Sims nothing sucks like a long stop light while riding a sport bike home from the gym.
That is a gorgeous bike! Sounds like you're having a blast. It sounds like you and the Fastboys need to get better organized. Isn't this at least the second video they've left you hangin'?

Best track bike and 650ib now show us and smackdown its very powerful !!
What an epic bike! Sounds like nothings else out there :)
Early Congrats surpassing 50k Subscribers# ib,
& the Aprilia looks Simply Stunning !!!
U will love the wheels, lol ...
I'm constantly cleaning Senna's red ones !!!
;)
+Dracati Ducati They clean a lot easier than the gold ones on my Factory did, lol
Why not LED headlights? They are much brighter than HID and don't need to warm up.
+MichaelV i've never see LED brighter then HID, Proper LED setups don't come close to a proper HID kit with projectors...
Nerding out at the beginning of the vid ha ha ha I love a night vlog you should totally do more of them👍
Nice to have a different super bike for every day of the week 😀
650ib: Try the (S)port throttle setting, as it has a more direct and aggressive throttle map and more engine braking. For the street I have experimented between the settings and I prefer S or T. Good stuff brother as always!!
i have a 2015 rsv4rr model here are my pros and cons
highs sighs
awesome motor and sound mirrors -hard to see
great handling handle bar ergos tough for long rides
seat is not bad sometimes hard to find neutral
decent wind protection
awesome brakes
all and all when you drive under a overpass and blast the throttle --- there is no other option
+MR RSV4 If you think the mirrors on the RR are bad, you should have tried the last version.... lol
Congrats on 50k
always looking forward to your videos.great bike
cool. I am hearing that these are suffering from bad clutches when you ride these hard EEb

Stunnerway has blue leds on his '08 gsxr 1000... Can't wait to hear that Austin Racing exhaust on it. It's going to be so sick.
Its sad that you didn't do that many videos with this bike. I was looking forward to seeing what mods you would do to it.
Go for Austin Racing exhaust! I look forward to see how the bike will be refined.

+DukeOfDC Good lord. There's so much conflicting info on everything nowadays, who knows what to believe!
aaron0288 Lol! I agree, and honestly I sided with you on cold air and mileage until this winter when the Tuono went from 32mpg to 20mpg average :( lol
Make sure to conduct a thorough sound comparison of the RSV4 & R1M, both sound hellacious and close :)
Do you think a stock h2 can beat a stock bmw
are you seriously?
+Rick carothers I own both so I am qualified to comment, take it from me, the H2 will wipe the floor with the Beamer.
Maybe I missed it, which motorcycle is your favorite? Thanks.
One of my dream bikes
nice video
this bike sounds great
thanks for the video
looking forward for another videos
I also personally like the looks of the R1 dash but hate digital tachometers.
man, have i got bad news for you about the 2017 rsv4's dash.... :(
I'm doing the "New Bike Break In Dance " myself & trying to take it easy until I get to 600 miles & can get the break in oil out. I wish I could have my own Dyno in my garage but my neighbors would be ready to riot & protest in my front yard...LoL
Question pick one bike 2016 rsv4 rf or 2018 rsv4 rr. You think newer electronics worth giving up the ohlins?
Love all your videos! How do you keep all your bikes day 1 clean? What cleaning products do you use?
I installed the dark tint Puig double bubble onto mine, it looks great but I'm not impressed with the finish, it looks like it was cut with a hack saw 😒 not clean!
You should sponsor some weekend meet ups. You would probably get bikers from 2-3 states show up.
Wednesday here 👌🏼I like how the bike looks from the riders view the stock headlights look like something out of a video game 👀 what's the fuel consumption like ?
Damn it 650ib!! I'm in need of a bike and taking donations if you ever wanna get at least one of those bad boys off your hands.
Do you guy's have shell V power fuel over there. It's 100 octane and it's all I try and use it's amazing stuff. 95 is UK lowest rating and then 98 99 and then V power 100.
what do you do for a living?
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
+SlasheRR He works in IT.

what kinda of tires it came with ?
am i allowed to say sexy! not you +650ib the bike haha love that motorcycle man looking great.
IB, you say HIDs but I gotta recommend a set of LED headlights. The controller(ballast) is smaller than an HID setup. Quick install too. Does the new Aprilia use H4 or H7s?
+Zac Gough The RSV4 RF has H11 bulbs. I'm searching for LED"s with at least 3200 Lumens per bulb. Please let me know if you have something in mind.

Hey 650ib I love your videos and I was wondering if you could make one about the five most important upgrades for you on a bike and explain why thank you!
man it sure sounds good and I love the lights are they LED?
what do u like riding better on the street the rsv4 or the r1?
how did lights changed colour from yellow to white???
That's what I was thinking lol
saw a white rsv4.. looked completely stunning! but! my hear will always be with bmw...
650ib- What do you think about using brights when you're riding in the daytime?
Bike looks futuristic. So sweet. Whoooo!!!! (In Rick Flair voice)
exotic bike master lol. Not gonna lie, I think I'd rather watch something like the 2016 ZX10 (something that I may one day ride). Cool bike anyways though!

Nice bike buddy!
What about ECU tune?
Have you considered the SC project exhaust? Personally I like the look and sound more, to the Austin Racing. Check out RidingWithToms video on his SC project exhaust on his BMW, if you haven't already.
+keith draper I agree, the SC Project is well made and sounds killer. Far too loud for me, but it's the better piece.
I 'm so glad to see that there are people who rides other bikes than the honda , yamaha , etc.....can u tell me if u ever ride a ktm rc8 or rc8r superbike and if u do ,what do u think about the motorcycle and the brand ktm

How do you wash your bikes ? What products do you recommend ?
+Angel Perez I use Mothers car wash and Dr. Beasley's Final Finish.
u ever went on a dirtbike?? if not u should.. it's fun
That's a beautiful machine IB. Which exhaust are you going to get?
Guy with the gixxer was like "Didn't I meet you before you had that H2?" Probably thought to himself "Damn he's got *another* bike?!?!" lol
+Ogre Doug LOL!
I like the color alot man where is the whole crew at is it cold over there ?
Are you gonna buy the 2016 zx10r?
HEY 650, I know your getting a fender eliminator right !?????
Best sounding bike period. Do you maintain all your motorcycles yourself?
NITROLLATOR No, I take them to the dealer.
Hey 650ib get a cleveland group ride going, it would be awesome!
What the make and brand of shoe u wear when u ride ib to do yur meet up
can u do a video on how u detail wash ur bikes?
love aprilias ...my next bike will be a tuono
+CM MOTO It's a better street bike than the RSV4.
i have to agree on that
+CM MOTO I'm going to test ride a Tuono. I also like the new Triumph Thruxton R. What do you think of it? +Steve C
I really like triumph also I ride a speed triple ...but the thruxton R. Are very cool motorcycles to ride with awesome style .
Can I use the "if I had feelings they'd be hurt" you said on cyclecruzas video
RSV4
Don't forget a race ecu too
650ib what is break in referring to?
+Hellwins28 Break in is the first 600 miles that you put on the bike. You're supposed to ride it gently but... um, I don't! LOL
it's great on fuel.....said no Aprilia V4 owner ever, until now :D
Hey mine isn't too bad either compared to my Ducati.
Mine's terrible, but saying that I like to keep it singing in 2nd and 3rd as it's just majestic, and worth every penny's worth of the 98 octane burned through
+VeeFour 98octane? You in America?
+Logic Modding (RGH Corona) no UK
+VeeFour just wondering because 91 for us is your 98 I believe
to erik yes seriously, saw a video s1000 out ran 3 times ,same hp and heavy h2
what is the name of the intro song??

Austin Racing GP1R in Carbon can with black ceramic tip please !
Fantastic bike.
didn't have any luck finding the led lights 650ib???
Not yet. Please help.
+650ib can I get them for you and send them too Kennedys Cycle
+David Tran Thanks David. I'm still researching LED bulbs. Are the ones you're talking about 'plug and play' and are they at least 3200 lumens? What's the name of them again? Sorry, I'm overloaded with research and forgot the one's you mentioned.
+650ib bro I can order them bro if you cant find
+David Tran please email me 650ib001@gmail.com
idk why these companies need to plaster there name so big on the side of these bikes...
What 1000cc bike would you recommend me to get?
I suggest you sit in them, test it out and ride one.
Okay thank you I appreciate it!
i would love so much u to make bikes review, because u have what u need for this
hey 650ib, what brand are the brake and clutch levers?
The beinging reminded me of when I told my GF that I was with my side chick. She immediately responded with, "you bought that new bike huh" LMFAO.
Nice bike ib I do have the Touno Superpole , and hope to ride together sometime this season.

Actually I rode to work today , was so fogy and yuky.
+Mohammed Mubarak LOL! I've ridden on days like today. It's getting cold again. Do you have HID or LED headlights installed?
Damn this is one sexy ass bike. I am sorry there no way I would make this beauty as my track bike. She is to damn sexy, I mean damn the details and the paint scheme is incredible. I am sorry 650ib you either make the R1m as a track bike or get a use daytona or r6 as a track bike if it drops who cares. These precious babies Hp4, H2, Ducati, and this machine NO WAY buddy too sexy for the track.
awsome bike doggie cant wait to ride it...lol....
I heard that bike was terrible on gas milage
+ARMONI555 You buy superbikes for gas milage? FWIW while it has a slightly larger tank, it goes further than my 2006 GSX-R with "only" 170whp did between pumps. And if Ib cared, then he wouldn't own a H2.
+Steve C I'm saying in relation to other 4 cylinder bikes
+Steve C Ofc he doesnt care, he's filthy rich! :p Also I think if you drive it relax a lot of the time (not high revs) that you can last really long with it... and the V4 has some extra power compared to 4 in line cylinders, it's a unique bike,
Neel Beke I'm sure
