The holidays have long since come and gone and this video still serves to relax me when I want to unwind. The simple, clean aesthetic of Orangewood guitars combined with the superb playing is extremely comforting. Every time I see the line up in the beginning of the video I'm happy.
Just buy him/her a Classic Vibe Tele and be done with it :) I've been playing for 20 years and owned 40+ guitars, and I am curious what the general consensus is around Squier. I have been through many bad ones but I have found a few I consider worthy to practice on. I don't want to be a gear snob; there has to be a middle ground. I am in love with the idea of finding a "good" Squier, I admit: it's a flex!
I’ve played guitar for fifty years. I’m now 58. I have owned many low dollar guitars over the years, Yamaha, Alvarez, The Loar, all good guitars. It took me years to work up to my Gibson and Martin that I own now. I also own a 1975 Alvarez 5024 Made in Japan and it’s a beautiful guitar. The Orangewood guitars are very nice for the price as well. Thanks Tomo!🎶
I got the Oliver Mahogany recently. It was not set up at all and buzzed badly in the open position. I did a quick truss rod adjustment and it's great now. I'm impressed with how easy it is play above the 9th fret.
11:00 I KNEW IT. If i suck at guitar i just need a better guitar. its definetly not my fault, its the guitar. NOW that the best guitar teacher there is said it, it is a fact to me. I wasnt delusional after all. Time to spend all my livesavings on a vintage Gibson. (Hopefully the Headstock wont break off).
Blueridge is making some really great bluegrass dreadnoughts for around $1K. The necks would be best for those with smaller hands or those that like a really thin neck. One of my favorite acoustic/electrics to play on stage is an Epiphone J200. Love the preamp on that guitar. Last I saw, they were running around $500. Mine plays nice. Also Taylor GS Mini in mahogany are really great. 😊😊😊
blueridge makes pauferro guitars, and sells them as rosewood, that's called fooling people, orangewood is cheaper and they don't lie, and each guitar comes with a premium case, there is simply no comparison
@@pepe3675 Smells like rosewood to me. The exact same look and smell as my Martin and Taylor and the Blueridge I bought in 1988. That 1988 Blueridge toured with me for 4 years and has stood the test of time. Sounded great brand new, even better now. But I have no personal knowledge of whether they are lying about the woods they are using. You might be right. I was simply stating that they are an option. I have not played an Orangewood. As a matter of fact, there are lots of great and affordable acoustics out there. I was simply hoping to give people options. Nobody should get locked into one guitar until they play it.
@@nohillforahighstepper 1988 was 35 years ago, right now I think we can find several guitars at a great price, but I think orangewood offers a lot for little money
Mayne they do. But Tomo already said that. We don't need that repeated. I also have a Blueridge I bought in 2014. Granted, that was almost 10 years ago. Maybe they've changed since then. Maybe they haven't. All I'm saying is to give them a try. I couldn't care less what somebody buys or doesn't. I have no skin in the game. Simply trying to get people to keep their options open. In my opinion, both my Blueridge dreadnoughts have better tone than the Orangewood in this video. Ir's the only one I have heard. Just my opinion...
Thank you for the information and genuine knowledge. I'm a sucker for Mahogany Acoustics, and it's always viable to find quality but affordable. Definitely important advice for all guitarists needing something new.
Great sounding guitars Tomo! I really liked the tone from the last guitar you played especially when you played Silent night wow! such a warm and peaceful feeling to set off the Holiday season. I also liked the gig bag I've damaged more guitars on stage then in side a gig bag, so why the added cost? the bag might not last as long as a case but, for the price point yes a much better alternative. Thanks again so much for sharing! Cheers.

I'd like to see an Ibanez acoustic designed by Tomo! The AZES line of electrics is fantastic.
Thank you for sharing! Ibanez makes great acoustic guitars too! Thank you!

Thanks for listening and thank you for sharing! That gig bag is so awesome! I would spend good $$$ for guitar bag/gig case. You're very welcome!
Love my Oliver Mahogany Live ! Comes with a lovely gig bag too... Orangewood make really nice guitars.
So happy to hear that! I still can believe that price with shipping included!
Hi Tomo, so where are they all made?
I thought those are made in Korea or Indonesia.
@@TomoFujitaMusic Thank you for the reply!
