Guys, you can't sell players if no one comes in for them! So, if they don't sign a new deal, what can you do? Imo, Salah (no longer a 'superstar'!) has been all about the money, and held the club to ransom to get his last big-money contract. No one is in for him as he's on the decline and on huge wages, so we're stuck with him unfortunately. As for Virgil, he said all along that he'd wait and see how things went, which is fair enough. Meanwhile, people are happy that we're giving a huge contract to literally our worst defender, who we can't even find the best position for in the team.
@@navvir I would definitely keep Virgil because he's still a top defender (don't you agree?), but Mo is not our best attacker any more by a long way. I think he's on the decline bigtime and I think we looked better when he was out injured with Diaz on the right and Darwin on the left. As for Trent, he's our worst defender by a mile. The opposition still target his side every game. In fact, Bradley is probably a better RB. Yes, Trent is an amazing player, like Beckham, maybe, but you wouldn't play Beckham at RB.
wtf did I just read, Salah will always have an offer from Saudi because its more than just the football, he just doesn't want to go there yet, Trent literally plays rb and has been one of the most creative players in the world from that position and he will stay there. Teams target that side because its a weaker side without Virgil, teams also target Kyle walkers side at city

He’s an average defender but makes up for it with his world class ability on the ball which is far more important for a team that dominates the ball. He’s actually positionally a better defender than walker but walker just has better physical attributes to make up for his awful positioning
If you watched the friendly you'd know Preston had 1 shot from the halfway line, lets not go over the top. All reports have stated we'd have a quiet July so why are people getting so worked up
Now you guys understand why fans talk about selling players not because we don’t want them or don’t rate them but because the club at some point in these players careers has to get some money back especially in this FFP era, we cannot compete long term with out getting some money back
