Here's an outing for the mahogany body Strat - I'm playing the lead and singing along to Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits, so I hope you enjoy it. It was recorded in 1 take, so it won't be perfect - but it sure was fun to record!

Thanks for replying, I use D'addario strings too, I have a copy strat coming and I'm going to upgrade it with a TUSQ nut, the pots and shielded wiring, and I'm going to try the G.M. 62z Alinco V pickups in it through a Fender LT50 amp, man your really good at that song, I could listen to it over and over again.

@@dylansmithguitarist3843 Yes I did the mod but still not getting the sultan sound, I researched the bare knuckles pickups but they are about 300 dollars and I can't afford them, do you have any ideas about other pickups that would get the sound at a cheaper price? Also, are you using any pedals between your amp to get the sultan sound? Man I'm amazed at how you can play that song right down to each chord and note.
