Why isn't the British S.A.S Soldier not mentioned? Without his bravery things would be much worse
Please remember this is the BBC reporting this. They are very Anti British Army and anti British ironically.
because it was first report and would have had to pass MOD for that info the be released at the time
@@Cymru85 i was talking about his book before being released they have to go through it and choose what can be put out
Christian Craighead and Meyli Chapin have books that talk about this. Christian is more known now for his role on the ground that day and Meyli was in the hotel for 17 hours.

"One Man in" by Chris Craighead (aka Obi Wan Nairobi) - this book is awaiting publishing clearance from the MoD
"Terrorist Attack Girl" by Meyli Chapin - available now, as far as I can see

I love how they all had each other's back that's what the USA needs
Yup, 911 brought Americans together in a special way.... but *_please don't wait for trouble to unite._* The world needs a united USA as it is the best hope for peace in the world at the moment. ❤🇰🇪🇺🇸
I really can't help asking "What is their problem?" "What do they want?"
@Randy Hendrix: I'm stressing my question, because I need answers as to why a bunch of people would derive joy in killing the innocent, I've asked this questions before hence the quote.
I hope you going to read this and understand it very well ''they want Kenyan army out of somalia" and because amison helped somali government to reduce their power they are getting their revenge on innocent people.
They are speaking in swahili Somalis don't speak swahili. This is a Kenyan government job.
I am very glad that people would save but R.I.P. to the ones who lost their life I know their families is very heartbroken for 2020
Fact - there was a SAS commando , who also helped in the rescue
There is video of him going in alone...
The African Forces group all are standing behind a corner, scared to death, watching this very brave ex-SAS soldier push on alone...
It's crazy to see 10 guys just stand there and watch a comrade walk into a gauntlet type battle all by himself...
@@abrahambaraka2924 they weren't cowering. He just led the way. He was in the country training Kenyan Special Forces.
@@SamPhillipsPT oh so which special forces unit?
Is it one of the Army’s; the 40th Ranger Strike Force, 30th Special Operations Group or The 20th Parachute Battalion?
Or maybe was it the Airforce’s Rapid Deployment Unit?
Maybe it was either one of the Navy’s; The Special Boat Unit or the Marine Commandos?
Maybe it was from the police; The General Service Units Recce Squad or the Administration Police’s Special Operations Unit?
Maybe he was training the Directorate of Criminal Intelligence’s Anti Terror Police or better still their CRIB?
Could have as well been the Directorate of Military Intelligence’s Long Range Surveillance Unit?
So when you say he was training “Kenyan Special Forces” and “led the way”. Which one of our Special and Asymmetric Warfare Units was he training and which one did he lead?
For all the reports have read clearly state that the first law enforcement official to go into that mess was the Head of the Directorate of Criminal Intelligence. He went in with his body guards and fired shots at the terrorists to distract them from civilians. He and his body guards only had columns for cover. About three minutes behind him were the Recce Squad, Administration Police’s Special Operations Unit and the Anti Terrorism Police.
The Army’s 30 SOG was about 15 minutes behind him and arrived to secure the perimeter and the area as top government officials, Generals and Police Leadership arrived.
It was a police led operation. They all let DCI’s Kinoti command the operation.
Back to the point, where does this SAS fellow come in and what exactly did he do? Strategic Intelligence Service (SIS) released videos from our operators head cams showing the moment they shot all four fellows. In one of the clips you can see the terrorists hurling grenades as the operators carefully approached.
The only evidence of the SAS guys activities are pictures of him outside the building helping civilians and him entering the lobby of one of the buildings.
Simply put; it’s all hogwash. It’s no coincidence that Britain wants to be in Kenya’s good books. They have a whole training unit here in Laikipia and many British investments are also present here. There exists a significant number of settlers from the colonial days as well. A token effort was required to prove their solidarity. Anyone who knows anything about Dusit will tell you it was impactless.
sorry to see innocent killed.
Am Kenyan and my heart aches when I see things like this but listen hate is not the way the actions of a few people do not re present a whole country or religion.these people a the devils work and aim to divide us . I've seen Muslims who went out their way to protect non Muslims in many countries but I've also seen Muslims who LOVE it whenever 🇰🇪 & other countries get attacked & multitudes lose their lives, it's a cold world, we don't live in an eutopia that's why I applaud the very rough men out here who are very necessary to keep a lot of us safe both within & without our borders, s/o to BPU, RDU, KSF, KECAG etc..
As a muslim kid our parents tell us those “muslims” arent muslims and they dont follow the quran and they call themselves that to ruin islams name
@@perosinalmc7143 , I know a lotta Muslims who "claim" the same thing & say it too but, reality is its "some masses" who profess the islamic religion who keep the bloodshed going, it's not some "Christian" or Indian group etc etc..perpetrating such attacks, so I'm calling this as I see it
@@judebenjamin6805 bro…it sounds like your fucking drunk or a racist. @@judebenjamin6805 take this next part with understanding, making a connection but its like saying since a few black people commited crimes, they all do. the reason i made this connection is because a lot of people seem to be more sensitive to this argument so maybe this will help you understand where im coming from
@@perosinalmc7143 , Did you miss the part where I wrote "some masses" in quotes? that was the giveaway to show I'm by no means talking about ALL MUSLIMS! so I don't know how you come to your assessment from my previous reply to you, again...let's not kid ourselves, those among the "masses" who innit for blood in this specific situation also proclaim the Muslim faith, you might not like it but it's the reality , those who attacked garissa university were they proclaiming Christianity? Westgate? dusit D2? were any of them proclaiming or "claiming" Christianity? so again, I know what time it is, I also know that we should always tell it like it is

@@veins2820 - *_Radical Islam or Islam?! Two very different things my friend!_*
ISLAM DOESN'T HAVE A RADICALISM MONOPOLY:
-Do you forget how the Rohingya Muslims are being massacred by Buddhists?
-Do you forget the Spanish Inquisition where great atrocities were committed by the Catholic church in the name of religion?
-The Salem witch trials by Protestant America where innocent people were tried and hanged on mere speculation?
-Ancient Egyptian Amun cults massacre the Aten worshipers... Pharaohs and commoners alike?
-Atheistic France as it murdered it's aristocrats, laity and monarchy during the French Revolution?
@@tommymogaka No Tommy. I'm talking about *Islam*. To be more specific "Islam in it's purest form". Looking at "Prophet" Mohameds life we can be sure that he did a lot of the things that Islamic terrorist groups like Al Shabab, Isis, Boko Haram, Al qaida etc. are doing. "Radical Islam" is therefore not a thing. Islams history is a bloddy one, we can get into that as well if you want to. Islam hurt Africa more than the Atlantic Slave Trade did. You mentioned how Rohingya Muslims are apparently being massacred by Buddhist, but do Buddhist scriptures encourage violence? The rest you brought up is just ancient history, Islam is the only religion in the 21. century that causes conflicts no matter where it is. It is not a coincidence that Islam is the number 1. religion when it comes to terrorist attacks, domestic violence, killing of apostates/non believers, oppressing religious minorities, killing homosexuals and so on.

At 0:37 the white guy (Jason Spindler)at the lower left and the upper right, shown twice (the only United States citizen who died in the attack) was married to my daughter for a few years so they can both stay together while in the Peace Corp. He was an amazing guy who was helping Kenyans start and internationalize their local economy. He just took a short break and went to the restaurant where he was killed at the start of the attack, one week before his 41st birthday. His parents had tickets to come see him to celebrate and, instead, had to come to prepare his funeral.
