@@musiqueetmontagne Thanks very much Robert, pleased you like them. Yes I love photographing Turns during the summer. I will be looking for little turns next year. Cheers Steve.
Thanks very much Richard, Yes cracking time of the year. I've been so busy work wise I'm still trying to catch up with everything. Including UA-cam. all the best, Steve.
Hi there Steve 😊 another nice vlog. I'm hoping to go to Richmond next week. I'm looking forward to some nice shots of the deer. All the best my friend. One more thing " Happy days "
@@jasonlaughton7 Hi Jason, thanks very much, pleased you enjoyed it. I'm up at Richmond next week from Wednesday onwards so we may well bump into each other. Cheers Steve.
Another good video Steve and the Common Tern shots are excellent. Planning ahead is always good, especially tide times where applicable. Take care mate.
Love the tern shaking water off itself at 16:04 with the head and tail all twisted! Good tips too on pre-planning. Always good to know where the light is going to be coming from particularly in sunny weather. 👍👍👍
@@NaturallyCuriousUK Thanks very much Graham, yes those terns are so flexible. I had a few really good photography sessions at Abberton over the summer. Hope you're well mate, all the best Steve.
Great video and images Steve. I've not visited Abberton yet. It's not to far from me so will do in the future. Great to see so many Spoonbills. I had only seen one once before at Rainham and it was pretty distant. So I was pleased when I encountered lots at Snettisham a couple of weeks ago. Must have been about 20, I managed to get some nice photos. 🙂
@@ganainm5113 Thanks very much I'm really pleased you enjoyed it. Yes Abberton is certainly worth a visit or two. Spoonbills are amazing birds and it was great to see so many in Essex. Thanks for watching, all the best Steve.
Wonderful captures of the little egret and the spoonbills - well, and all the other birds! So nice to be transported back to springtime and the hawthorn blossom too on these dreary autumn days!
@@SkylarkFields Thanks very much, really pleased you like them. Yes it's great to see all the wildlife migrate in during spring. Although winter is on the way we do have all the winter migrants to look forward to. All the best Steve.
How weird... my lad texted me earlier to say that they had been to a nature reserve today - guess where, yup - Abberton. I met this guy today in the Brecon Beacons and lo and behold the 1st video I look at of his is guess where 😂 Nice to meet you today and chat- hope the next few days with the workshop goes well. I stopped off at the Taf Fechan cp (saw you going by) and then went for a little stroll in the forest, as I was coming back onto the road you passed me by, I recognised your box. A great variety of birds at the location and your footage and images are as I expected, top notch. Amazing to see a spoonbill but to see a flock ike that in this country is pretty incredible - know that they only started nesting in the last 10-15 years possibly (Somerset levels I think it was?) atb Al
@@thevalleywalker Hi Al, it was lovely to meet you and have a chat yesterday. Yes it's hard to miss my roof box isn't it? Thanks very much, pleased you enjoyed my vlog about Abberton. Isn't that strange, what amazing timing that your son was visiting Abberton yesterday. I hope he enjoyed his visit, it really is a great bird location. One of the best in Essex I think. You're right spoonbills haven't been here that long, it was fantastic to see so many. So I have a busy three days coming up. Keep well, all the best, Steve.
