I’m sorry about what happened to you but I’m also struck by the fact that we still treat people with titles ahead of their names better than ‘regular’ folks. I would hope that if my dad was caught up in a similar situation, title or not he would get the same treatment as a ‘prof’. I hope he’s ok as well.
