Wow, two greenhouses, lucky man. I've come to the conclusion that to be a contented gardener, you can only be so if you have at least one greenhouse or a shed that allows in enough light - preparing, growing on, growing through colder months etc. Unfortunately a lot of gardening videos always have greenhouses - and start off vigorous plants there. Like me, I should think many gardeners or beginners, don't have this luxury; don't have enough land or other reasons. If you have substandard growing conditions eg. poor soil or shade, this makes gardening doubly as hard. We persevere regardless. Terrific show and lots of useful tips but please remember us who are 'greenhouse-less'. All the best.
I took 3 inch suckers off of tigerella. Just put side shoots in water They grew so strong and I got so much fruit last year worth trying for every variety
Love the videos
Always good ideas Thank you from Devon. I have lots of space in my orchard but could do with more energy to do it all! Am I right that you keep top dressing to get all that lovely fertile soil?

You might find your chickens do like dandelions - mine love them! I've managed to just about eradicate dandelions from our garden, there aren't many left on my allotment, and now I'm surreptitiously harvesting them from our local supermarket's flowerbeds to keep my Girls in greens!
it's too late for me to plant potatoes for christmas. my wife had some in the veg rack sprouting. when i went looking for them, too late. my daughter threw them out. never mind.................brian
your daughter needs to go to the corner with a pointy hat ;)

Hi Mothin, do you make your own seed compost (for sowing in containers) or use a purchase it? if so which would you recommend?
Yes all my compost is homemade
@@MyFamilyGarden would you consider doing a video on how you put together different mixes?
I've uploaded a video today on this subject
Sir what is catagory of your channel?
I'm new to the channel and to growing veg, just a quick question, I have just harvested some potatoes today and noticed that there are a couple of darker potatoes which I think might be the original tubas seeds would these be edible or only suitable for replanting? Many thanks
If they're quite solid they won't taste very good, you could try planting them again but add another seed potato because they don't always send out new shoots straight away they might do it next year
@@MyFamilyGarden I will give it a go and see what happens, Many thanks
What area are you in?
