When my dad bought our first colour TV (Panasonic) and VHF, this was the first movie he bought along. The music still plays fresh in my memory after 24 years. The other movie he bought was, "Died Wretched". These were the classics we knew. Watching this movie brought tears to my eyes thinking of my dad who died last year. I miss him and I miss old Nollywood
The good old days. This was when we use to have good scriptwriters, directors, producers, actors and actresses. Kudos to the uploader for this masterpiece 1998. Continue to rest in peace Peter Bunor.
A classic from the golden era of Nollywood. What made the movies from this era (1992 - 2007) so great was their ability to get to the emotions of the audience with the soundtrack, relatable storyline, seasoned actors, and the novelty of a domestic movie industry in Nigeria. These are some of the qualities that the newer Nollywood movies lack-they leave the emotions out and just go for what looks good on camera
This movie, died wretched and the only Nigeria girl made my childhood great ,with this movie I can attest I have a retaintive memory cos I was only 5 years and I can sing the song evn before being uploaded on tube,it makes me miss my dad too, rest in peace dad, rest in peace earnest asuzu, saint obi why did u stop acting infact take me back to the olden days.
Ooooohhh goodness God! Whoever uploaded this movie will reap bountifully in this world! Father Lord!!! There were times....ooohhh there were times when home movies were truly an epitome of edutainment! I am afraid we may never come to making movies like this if Nollywood continues with the farce it's giving us!!!
Being feeling bad for such a long time but seen this movie right now brings so much good memories to my heart and I feel relief. Good old days I miss so much.
Even if they can bring anything down in Nigeria 🇳🇬 Nollywood will Be The Last and they will fail, this movie I’m watching now Was my childhood favourite movie I never get tired of, See How Beautiful it is ‘The picture ,Sound And Actions👍🏽the Best and even better than The New one’s, 🔥❤️
This movie is a lesson for all women to never put our eggs in one basket. And also a lesson to listen to our parents. They know best in certain situations. Vivienne's father was right about Steven being a douchebag. Appreciate this movie and rest Saint Obi.❤️

I feel so sorry for Vivian! So devastating 😂 and heartbroken 💔!! The worst that can happen anyone in life is the betrayal of true love ❤️ 😍!! Great love lesson for young girls/ladies in love relationship!! Nice movie though ❤❤❤❤!!!!!
I watched this movie when i was younger saved me from one stupid boy who went to US and promised me marriage when i remembered this movie omo i no put mind oh.
How much we miss these actors and actresses. Nollywood was the best then not anymore now The song was sang by Stanley Okorie, he is still a good singer till date.
Two wise words from the legend Pete Edochie. "Never covet another man's wife, thats the fastest way to die". "Adequately compensate a lady who offers you her body because she has surrendered her pride to you".
Deadly Proposal indeed! What a bloody ending! I felt so sad about how Vivian ended her life, but as for Stephen, he got what he bargained for because he had every opportunity to ask Vivian to move on with her life rather than leading her on only to discard her like a piece of trash 😡
