Great clarification regarding adjusting the bed during Fl skills test. So my understanding is it is not required unless the specific skills such as feeding etc required it. Thanks nurse patty

If you don’t understand those controls, I don’t know if there’s hope you’ll pass the test. That’s why I believe a lot of the testing centers here in Texas have hand cranked beds. But I don’t know.
Some students may find all the buttons and controls in a clinical setting intimidating, if they are not familiar with them. We strive to take the fear out of the test by demonstrating all components of the topic and not assuming that the student is familiar with anything in a clinical setting when preparing these presentations.
