Glad you like it, Larry. We are so honored that you chose our knife and we are thrilled to be working with you. Great things to come. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Looks great Larry, a life time of use there. You should be pretty proud of yourself for all you've accomplished. A signature knife is pretty darn good.
That's awesome Larry. I'm still waiting for mine to show up. I agree I think the genisus is the perfect knife as well. I use mine every day. Hope you guys have a merry Christmas
Going to have to get one of these to add to my Genesis family. Genesis is my all time favorite knife make. Got a G3 prototype (vid up) and had to pass on the first run of this, sadly, but I'll get one 👍🏻 happy for you, bro! Glad to see you got a stamp on one of the best blades made
Cool brother. I'll be their in April as well for one of my classes, Camping and Woodcraft.Advanced is in GA this year. Sorry I just now hollared back .
More than happy to be a companion on the journey!! And I must admit, that knife in it's simplicity and straight forward task driven design is a masterpiece.I get so tired of those that trash scandi grinds. Mora's did not become legends for the price point alone. And I'm also so tired of people trashing all kinds of knives when they are using them as some all purpose beater tool. If ya need a pry bar, buy one. A shovel? Buy one. Again....looks like you have every reason to be proud of that knife!! Merry Christmas to you and yours!! Remember the reason for the season in a world gone mad. God Bless! ;)
Thank you. Merry Christmas. I agree with you, another thing that bugs the crap out of me is "why spend that money, a $15 Mora will do the same thing?" No it won't. lol I love my Mora's and other knives, but they are not the same quality.
Well, Mora's are excellent....but of course they will never challange the knife that you have designed overall for several obvious reasons. But I'm a big fan of that Scandi grind.
Great looking knife congrats on your signature knife brother, I always wanted to try a Genius knife but a little over my price range, but I am impressed with them.
Hell yeah!!! Jealous man! This came out at the wrong time of year for me to be able to afford it but I fully plan on trading in my Genesis for this one at some point. Way cool Larry!! Congrats man :)
The Kephart design is a excellent all round knife, and I would love to get your signature knife someday. I no doubt love the LT broomstick style handle. I mostly prefer a more pointy tip, less belly like the GNS, but I dislike it's handle. It's easier to do Jogge cuts rotating wood out with my thumb. I've emailed LT, but they said no in very short to the point terms.
I've processed mice with it hahaha had a good giggle when you said that, nice blade the Genesis, if you haven't already take a look at A S Harding knives on here Larry he has a Facebook page too he makes some awesome knives inc a skookum clone and of course a really nice woodlore clone.Have a wonderful Xmas!
Merry Christmas, Larry. I saw that F@*&^$ mouse on there and burst out laughing. Your tirade about the plethora of the offending rodents up on Vancouver Island was the highlight of Season 2.
Nice looking knife Larry! I like the liners & the thicker handle. The trend seems to be going the other way, but I'm not a big fan of the thin, flat, slab-sided handle scales.
Congrats Larry! that's awesome and the mouse is perfect😂😂😂 I am like you when it comes to handles it seems every knife gives me forearm fatigue when feather sticking and carving. I know this will sound a bit silly considering that you have premium blades like that GNS but you should try out the Gerber Prodigy or their Strongarm. I kid ya not, after watching Mike from bluemountainbushcraft and Magnus Anderson review their serrated Gerber Prodigy's I bought one and used it for 6 months straight. After the first week it became the best knife I've ever used, it is by far the best fire crafting and feather stick making knife ever but on top of that it has eliminated forearm fatigue. Anyways they're cheap so its worth a try and if ya don't like it your wife might cause my wife LOVES using mine to cut up her chickens LOL.
Thanks. I'm not sure I'll be getting a gerber anytime soon, but I'm open to review it if they send it my way. ;) Mike and Magnus swear by them, and they are great guys for sure.
Congratulations Larry, The 'mouse manslayer' :) Very Cool to have your own knife. Congrats once again. I know you have a GNS and now a brand new Genesis, I just purchased a GNS about a month ago, never seen or handled a Genesis. Based on this video, I'd assume that you prefer the Gen. but we all know what comes from assumption.....what's your thoughts? Any huge benifit of one over the other?
Not really a huge difference, I just like the genesis better. The tip on the gns is great, I love it, but if you tend to abuse your knives maybe a little then the thicker point of the genesis is better. It's really personal preference, if you get the A2 steel that is.
Larry, love the Genesis and your mod. How do you feel AEB-L would affect its overall performance in your opinion? I'll be relocated to the swamp here soon and I'm concerned about corrosion of A2. Thanks in advance.
Glad you like it, Larry. We are so honored that you chose our knife and we are thrilled to be working with you. Great things to come. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! I took the best. :)
Merry Christmas Larry and family. I have put this knife on list for purchase next year. Enjoy your videos and common sense approach.

Looks great Larry, a life time of use there. You should be pretty proud of yourself for all you've accomplished. A signature knife is pretty darn good.
Thank you, I am pretty proud actually. :)
Enjoyed the video. Hopefully with a little Christmas money I will get me a genesis.
I have a few LT knifes and they are great, good company. Merry Christmas Larry and God bless you and your family.

Cool brother. I'll be their in April as well for one of my classes, Camping and Woodcraft.Advanced is in GA this year. Sorry I just now hollared back .
amazing design of a knife. Lt wright sure knows what they are doing. I wish I could afford that knife
I hope one day you can, it's a great knife.

Thanks Jeff! I hope you can save up for one (doesn't have to be mine) I really think you'll like it.
Hell yeah!!! Jealous man! This came out at the wrong time of year for me to be able to afford it but I fully plan on trading in my Genesis for this one at some point. Way cool Larry!! Congrats man :)
By they way, I just have to add...I told you so :P hahahaha

I'm looking forward to getting my first LT someday.
Let me know what you think of it when you do, I love his knives.

Merry Christmas! Yep, lots of mice. lol
You earned it
Thank you Josh!
Merry Christmas, Larry. I saw that F@*&^$ mouse on there and burst out laughing. Your tirade about the plethora of the offending rodents up on Vancouver Island was the highlight of Season 2.
HA! Thanks man, it made good tv I guess. lol Merry Christmas.
Nice looking knife Larry! I like the liners & the thicker handle. The trend seems to be going the other way, but I'm not a big fan of the thin, flat, slab-sided handle scales.
I like bigger handles and thinner blades. I feel they have more finesse if that makes sense.
Me too.
I got one today woot woot !!
Awesome!!
Congrats Larry! that's awesome and the mouse is perfect😂😂😂

I think the AEB-L would work just fine. Keep in mind though I used A2 in the ocean and didn't have a problem.
Larry Roberts, thank you for the reply.
o man great
Thanks!
That's purdy!!
Thanks!
cool knife I remember that lol when it was forever lol hey gotta give the mouse some credit to lol atb BROTHER
Thanks. Yep, I had to give credit to the little sucker. lol
Merry Christmas Larry. As always I enjoy your videos. Are you watching this season of Alone?
Yes, I am watching it. I'm enjoying it very much. Merry Christmas!
Any Knife i Respect Must Be Able to Process Chage in Cold Weather ..i have a couple vids on it and i trust the knives ive used for Chaga harvesting
All my knives I've used extensively in cold weather.
Larry Roberts cheers Larry ! Happy New Year and for sure your always in the cold like me lol ! ;;,;,;take care !! ;;,;,;;Spook
Best knife period but just my opinion here. To make it a little more original maybe a 5 inch cutting edge would have been perfect.
I love this knife! I am testing a different prototype right now. Actually two of them. ;)
