DPS does not directly translate into rend damage. Rend uses weapon damage and disregards haste. Most people with damage that high are getting a large bonus from their haste items.
Since i dont play hardcore i picked up a Immortal Kings 2h wep with seismic slam crit chance on it. Been using rend/seismic slam build. Does great. Thanks for showing us a solid 2h hardcore build.
Bloodlust on Rend is indeed use weapon damage not DPS, however, that's not the reason people ditch this rune, simply because additional rend radius is much much more powerful, the life gain affect lost can be fixed with a Skorn with life leach %.
Kripp, you should make a video discussing several builds for other classes as well. I don't play D3 regularly so I'm always confused what's good or not after a new patch. Barbs are cool but I enjoy some variety, if you could give tips on Witch Doctors, Wizards and Demon Hunters it'll be great.
When your playing with Krippi you should try having him use the AOE stun + Hammer of the ancients with the Stun rune. Ive been using it (also play HC) and the mobs normally stay stunned at all times. Between the 5 second AOE stun, and the 3 second stun from killing a mob there is usually about 1 or 2 seconds where the mobs are active. Its nice when you come across the harder Elite Packs when they can get semi-perma-stunned.
In my opinion you should use inspiring presence instead of tough as nails or nerves of steel(whichever grants you less armor). 2% of your max hp / sec really helps out in case of a disconnect. I run 82k hp on my barb and my DH friend runs about the same with Grooding(2% hp/sec) so in total we roll with about 2k lps and 4k lps. Really good talent if you play on lower MPs where stuff dont do as much dmg.
Because of you Kripp I might start a hc barb .. sounds like good fun, even tho Im not as good as you guys when it comes to risk mngmt. But Im kinda sick of the spoiled AH/RMAH in SC. good wurk
Bloodlust is an amazing rune and I have no idea why almost no one takes it. Why? Because it allows you to bypass LS/LoH on your weapon completely, and you can now buy much, much better weapons. Say you have 100k DPS, that's 700,000 per rend on each mob, 20% of 9% is 12.6k life stolen per rend duration, PER mob. You are definitely staying alive and don't really need anything else.
because nobody uses shields anymore, you can clear inferno with a 100% glass cannon build on all classes and a shield is a detriment to your damage. on higher monster power settings it just lowers your dps and makes things take longer.
Ignore Pain with the 20%ll rune + rend makes you almost immortal for 5 seconds... with 2 weapons and pretty low dmg and crit dmg I'm still getting up to 40k heals coming only from rend
I did not choose the selffound life the selffound life choose me. 8/12 items i use i found myself, found a 1350 dps str skorn last night and a 185 IK belt
hi kripp, if u dont read this is ur own loss. try cleave man, i crit for 200k dmg on hardcore with my barb cleave also have a good life on hit ratio as u said rend and run, u dont have to do that with cleave and who am i, im just a guy that finished hardcore on my barb and witch doctor going for a ull clear on all 5 classes.
living somewhere or having roots from somewhere is quite a difference buddy. i think there are alot of people living in the us while at the same time being asian.
Kripp has specificly said that he likes playing the same class over and over, so he can perfect every aspect of it rather than trying out other classes. So don't count on it :'(
of course you will get bored with diablo if you only play one class, ive been trying to get my barb over 100k and dh over 175k unbuffed and its kept me occupied

I don't use furious charge anymore because of the ground grabbing glitch. Even the nerfed leap is preferable to me.

all my set items and legendary items are from MP0..and got 2 legendary items yesterday in Korsikk Bridge in the same run.
