Thank you for this! Another thing to combat laziness is getting your regular check-ups with the doctor. I was diagnosed iron-deficiency anemia, and I felt like a whole new person after taking prescribed iron supplements for 2 weeks. I had so much more energy to do things!
I didn't land on this video by mistake. I am almost at the end of my schooling journey and really felt like giving up cause there's just a lot going on in my life but after this video I am motivated once more. I will be back to give an update when I have received my certification. Update : I did it , i obtained my international certifications on August 16th 2023. ☺️☺️💃💃💃💃💃

Social media is my greatest distraction which leads to both laziness & procrastination - I have uninstalled both Twitter & IG on my phone because I could not regulate the time I spent on them. I know this personally, and it's not a good thing. The good thing is that you don't have to stay that way. Laziness, depression, anxiety and the fear of failure stopped me from trying to revise and I fear I will fail. I will still try even though I know it won’t produce the best results, but I really needed this. It brings tears to my eyes to not understand what is wrong with me, but I leave it all up to God, I trust him to get me out of this and bring me back to him. I’m so tired of being like this; sad and sinful is not what I want to be. I always wonder how I got like this or how my life just ended up where I am now. I love the scriptures about the ants. Surprisingly, they have a longer life span than I expected as well! This will be an awesome reminder to keep working like the ants. I can confirm that laziness does bring on poverty and scarcity. Ever since the pandemic I have not fully snapped out of my laziness and it has caused a direct impact to my finances. I know that I am on the verge of a breakthrough. While I know GOD will do it for me, I am the key to my own success. Thank you!

I have found that for starving your distractions, fasting for a few weeks helps. For example, not watching Netflix for 21 days. It also works best when you try not to go back to your habit after the fast.

Just yesterday I was asking myself if doing nothing will literally do me any good. I stress over me being broke or emotionally absent but still do nothing to not be like that. God had been blessing my marriage and family life. In return my will is to practise Church Counseling, I am equip but there are challenges. It is hard because evil tried to steal my gift against this battle is huge. I believe God can bring and break every strong hole.

Not me watching this on my rest day and feeling guilty. For me the hardest thing is finding balance between hard work and rest. Yesterday I literally got home at 7pm to sleep because I have been working 12 hours shifts trying to take care of myself, spend time with God and my family and friends. At 3pm I was so sleepy but kept fighting not to sleep until I couldn’t fight anymore. I have learned to listen to my body when is tired but my brain keeps telling me I’m being lazy even in my rest days. Because I believe that you can rest productively but sometimes the body is just so tired but then again, THE GUILT!

AMEN sister! Thank you, this was right on time for me. I journaled this morning about almost everything you spoke on in this video. This is my personal confirmation from God. I love the scriptures about the ants. Surprisingly, they have a longer life span than I expected as well! This will be an awesome reminder to keep working like the ants. I can confirm that laziness does bring on poverty and scarcity. Ever since the pandemic I have not fully snapped out of my laziness and it has caused a direct impact to my finances. I know that I am on the verge of a breakthrough. While I know GOD will do it for me, I am the key to my own success. Thank you!

I have found that for starving your distractions, fasting for a few weeks helps. For example, not watching Netflix for 21 days. It also works best when you try not to go back to your habit after the fast.

Honestly, just got to UA-cam to do what I always do.... Scroll and laugh but for the first time this was at the top of my timeline. Just yesterday I was asking myself if doing nothing will literally do me any good. I stress over me being broke or emotionally absent but still do nothing to not be like that. God had been blessing my marriage and family life. In return my will is to practise Church Counseling, I am equip but there are challenges. It is hard because evil tried to steal my gift against this battle is huge. I believe God can bring and break every strong hole.

The other day I was reading The Parable of the Lost Coin on Book of Luke 15:8-10 and I loved how the woman in the scripture searched/seek diligently for the lost coin. Which it is exactly how we should seek the Kingdom of God without laziness. And furthermore, not to be lazy on ourselves etc. I also love what you said about clean environment eg keeping your space clean and tidy which plays a big role in our daily performances etc. And if our smartphones own us or if we own the phones. Not me watching this on my rest day and feeling guilty. For me the hardest thing is finding balance between hard work and rest. Yesterday I literally got home at 7pm to sleep because I have been working 12 hours shifts trying to take care of myself, spend time with God and my family and friends. At 3pm I was so sleepy but kept fighting not to sleep until I couldn’t fight anymore. I have learned to listen to my body when is tired but my brain keeps telling me I’m being lazy even in my rest days. Because I believe that you can rest productively but sometimes the body is just so tired but then again, THE GUILT!
