Hindi naman si Louise Armstrong kumanta ng La Vie En Rose, he just met the writer/singer and made an English version of it kasi it was hard for him to pronounce the French words. La Vie en Rose in English translates to "Life in Pink." And the original singer/composer ng song ay si Edith Piaf who made the song about her husband.

Vice Ganda's blank expression when Sassa said "La Vie En Rose" was priceless... Hahaha... This is one of my favorite songs... It was originally sung by the brilliant French singer Edith Piaf not by Louis Armstrong... Armstrong simply did an English translated version of the song, which was originally in French, for the movie "French Kiss"... Kudos to Sassa for knowing this classic masterpiece and for singing it well... I believe the younger generation needs to rediscover these older songs instead of filling their heads with the recycled and auto-tuned garbage filling the music scene nowadays...

as far as i know, la vie en rose [the life in rose(pink)], is sung by the original singer edith piaf which was a very popular french singer not only in europe but also in america..gusto ko sana na marinig na subukan niya ang original french song..
and it has a different translation to its enlgish version popularized by louis armstrong
and i have heard a lot of versions from singers and she pronounced the 'rose' differently in a way that i cant really get it and just makes me doesnt like it (in that part)
