Just wanted to say thank you not just for the video, but for the quick reply time to my request for documents! I was watching this at around midnight (IST) when I sent an email asking for the documents you mentioned, and received a reply in less than 10 minutes. Thank you! Note: The email address in the video description has a typo, and shows "contatc" instead of "contact".
Hi Surbhi, please send us an email on “contact@edzest.org” we will send the document. Note: We will NOT save your email ID for promotional mails. It will be used only to share the documents that are stored on google drive.
Dear Amit, thank you so much for really good lecture and clear explanations as well so we could understand Why and When...really good video. Could you share doc. templates so I can learn it in more details ? Thank you in advance 🤗
Hi, yes, please send a mail to "contact@edzest.org", you'll receive a google drive link from which these templates can be downloaded. *We will not save your email unless you willingly subscribe to our platform on the website. So, no unwanted mails other than the documents link. :)
I joined new project they hv lot of documents in form of wiki on browser. But not given time to read all those docs. Too much pressure on delivery of code
Hi, yes these are still relevant. Project Management has not changed, only the way PMI looks at it has changed. Understanding about these documents are important and there are questions in exam that will test whether you know the objective or these documents. And ECO is to be used to check your progress, like solving questions on every 35 tasks.
So I have a question. Andrew whose Udemy course is so popular among PMP test takers claims that there are totally 35 Project Management Documents altogether and here you are presenting more. I appreciate the detailed explanation and all but this confuses me. Especially when I go to other sources summing up the PMBOK I can see that some even list out 48 documents. What should be the official ones then, if you can help me explain? Thank you.
Hi, thanks for your comment and I must say a great observation. The most trusted resources on all such matters are from the PMI official bodies: The PMBOK guides. I will not be able to comment on how Andrew arrived at 35 but I have used PMBOK guides to create this content. Also, documents are used for convenience in a project, and every project is different. We should know why these documents are used and feel free to customise and add as per our needs. Hence, you see different numbers across the internet.
@@edzest Thank you for taking time explaining. Right after leaving a question here I checked out the PMBOK 6th and discovered in Table 4-1 it listed 35 documents. I'm trying to deal with the thick book and trying to make sense of them all now. Thanks once again for creating meaningful and helpful content.
