I isolated myself for 4 years doing the hard work of a “Mask” I wore, even while being an “Evangelist.” I felt God pulling on me to deal with truth & my childhood trauma that cause me to suffer with Mental Illness. I stepped down from the pulpit & did the hard work with my therapist to get out all the ugliness from my childhood. On 12/30/22, I uploaded my Memoir “You Never Know” on the front cover I’m in a Mask with a Bible in my hand. Telling my story, freed me & allowed me to understand the whys of my childhood. I understand now what I didn’t understand then as a child/youth & adult, that it all was for a purpose for I was chosen. I feel 30 pounds lighter & free!!! May God continue to use you for such a time like this!

You are absolutely speaking the truth. I am going through this phase right now. In the past because I didn’t know much it was very painful for me. Now that I know so much more I embrace the time I have alone with myself.

It's an important part of our growth and understanding. It forces us to focus on ourselves and do the work we need to do to heal. For the first two years of my journey I wanted someone to share it with. But I’ve noticed that without others in my life to distract me, I’ve reached a surmountable amount of confidence, self awareness, strength, & emotional maturity! And even though it got tough sometimes, I know that I wouldn’t have gained all that had I had someone to distract me from it. I’ve actually now come to enjoy the silence in my life because there’s no toxicity in it. 😂 But now since I’ve gained so much positive acuity, I’m also able to fully attract the things I WANT in my life rather than just going with whatever came up. I needed to have a reason for this isolation I've been going through besides the negative things my head was saying.. I've been through so much trauma and I felt I needed someone to be here for me more than ever but I have found myself completely alone. But this is where I found my higher power, God 🙏 And you helped confirm that there is a reason for what I'm going through. This is exactly what I feel God is telling me too. I've been chosen to help others who have suffered the same traumas that I have been through but I have to learn more about it than just being a survivor..
