+Terry Gersdorf Hi Terry. I thought I'd responded to your question - I
remember writing the reply. Not sure why it doesn't seem to have
appeared, but now I'm getting the 'comment failed to post' message when I try to reply. I hope you see this comment.
Anyway, yes, you are correct, the part of the display
which used to show the radio station or CD track (I think) now just
    remains blank.

Nick Elliott Nick I need some assistance make some cable connections. I received my Unico Dual Plus this week and I purchase a Kenwood KDC-BT758HD receiver. I saw on your video that you had a output connection from the Unico to the remote connection on the receiver I see that this is a separated cable and where do I get it. And on my receiver it has a steering wheel remote control connection. Any help will be well appreciated.

I bought one of these types of leads that matched my stereo:
      www.halfords.com/sat-nav-audio/car-audio/stereo-fitting-accessories?type=Harness+Adaptor&initMin=0&initMax=100&pgSize=42
then I cut off the plug at the other end and connected the various leads to the speakers, 12V supply and so on, and one of them was the remote input, which I connected to the radio code output wire of the Unico. Take your stereo into your local car audio shop and I'm sure they'll sell you a lead that you can cut and use to connect it up. Does that help? Let me know if I've misunderstood.

Hi Nick, nice video of the radio remote. Did you set up Bluetooth with the source? If you will, please respond via email. I subscribed to your channel. Thanks, Rich

I don't think I can reply by email! This was such a long time ago, I can barely remember now, but I believe I tried initially connecting the phone via an aux cable to an old stereo I had laying around. However, when the phone was also connected to a USB charger cable from the bike, there was too much interference from the ignition system, so I then bought a new stereo unit with Bluetooth, and connected the phone that way. The output from the stereo to my helmet was wired - I had to remember to unplug before I stepped off the bike.
These days, I have a Bluetooth receiver in the helmet, and just connect directly to that. Simpler, but no remote buttons possible though!
