Helena Ricci - Prokofiev: Prelude in C Op.12 № 7 for harp

Recorded live during a recital at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London, May 2018.
The ‘Harp’ Prelude is the seventh of the Ten Pieces that Sergei Prokofiev (1891 - 1953) composed during the years 1906-1913 while still a student at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. He premiered it on the piano in 1914 and the piece has since become a well-known gem for both pianists and harpists.
