helpful video! How well padded is laptop sleeve? And most importantly does it have false bottom so laptop doesn't bang on a counter or ground if you forget to set bag down gently?
Thanks. The bottom of the laptop sleeve is slightly raised off the base of the bag itself (I seem to recall), however I imagine if you plonked it down the base of a laptop would hit pretty hard. The padding either side is good though - perhaps half an inch on the inside and then a little more on the other side that's against your back. Hope that helps. It might be worth joining our Facebook Group 'Gear Testers - Outdoors Magic' and putting the question to them as one of them has been using it. Will
On the search for a pack that's equally suited to travel, city breaks and day hikes. Something that could comfortably carry camera's and ipads one day, then water and waterproofs the next. Was considering the Millican Fraser 25, but this looks like an option too. Any views on how they compare, or suitable alternatives?
Hi Stu, The main difference is that with the Fjallraven Ulvo you get full wet waterproof protection whereas with the Millican Fraser, I believe it's only water resistant, so won't take any prolonged or heavy rain. I'd say there's a big weight difference as well, with the Fjallraven pack being much lighter. We reviewed a load of packs recently for a big round up which you can read here: outdoorsmagic.com/article/best-hiking-daypacks-reviewed/
That's nice but I could have read all of that on the blurb of Fjallraven's site , Why not talk more about how you use it and what do you carry with it? For me 23 liter is very small, barely enough for a proper day hike so I wonder how you get on with it..
Well if that's what you think I hope it was useful to at least see us using it. It depends what time of year you're day hiking. Winter, it'll be too small, summer, I'd say it's fine. Will
beautiful scenery and presentation. The backpack is nice too :)
Thanks Robert :-)
two side pocket design looks quite smart~
looks dope!
There's a written review on our site as well. Check out the Outdoor 100 on OutdoorsMagic.com

Hi. I think it's one of the previous Skogso editions. Will
Lovely stuff.
Hello, does the mesh of your Ulvo damaged your clothes? After 1 week, my clothes are pilling :(
Nice

@@OutdoorsMagicTV Thanks for your reply, and link.
Since this pack is waterproof does it mean I can go submerge it in a Lake?
yeah
Thanks man, now I can go dunk it in Lake Tahoe.
How dare you use a Swedish bag in Norway 😂.
We're here to break the rules ;-)
