- In this video, I introduce Pandas TA, yet another technical analysis library for Python. I discuss the projects we will build 1) a discord technical notification script that is deployed to a Linode server. 2) a user interface for Pandas TA built using Streamlit.

I have been looking for this training for a while. Thank you very much, you are a very good teacher and a great man
Another awesome tutorial Larry. You are the only hope for aspiring algo traders. I am here to automate most of my trading stuff instead of monitoring the chart and bid and ask prices continuously. Please keep up the good work!
What an excellent video with a crystal clear logic! Thank you! Larry. Maybe you can consider making a third video in this series - ta-lib & pandas ta, which one to use?
Thank you Larry, I enjoy learning from your videos!
Thank you so much Larry! This is so easy compare to manualy figuring out different indicators!
YES. It was about time pandas-ta got some love, makes everything so easy
You are the absolute best. This channel is exactly what I was looking for.
love your tutorials - best I've seen on UA-cam
ADX/DMI is one of my favourite indicator sets, Ichimoku is another. Great video, thank you.
Yay! A new video! Excited to dive in
Bro this is exactly what I’ve been looking to develop ... thanks a bunch 🙏
Holy crap man, I wish I knew about pandas_ta earlier. This is so much easier and you did a great job explaining this well.
Excellent larry, yep pandas-ta makes everything so easy
Looking forward to your next video!!
Very nice. Thanks for bringing this library.
Loved your explanation
Thank you!!! Love from Singapore!
😘Thanks for this video. Very clearly about the pandas_ta.
Excellent video man, thanks for that
Thank you!! an excellent video
cool stuff! thanks
Fantastic. That looks a little easier the vectorbt. At least for setting up a scanner and getting notifications. Which is exactly what I want to do because trading bots would be notoriously unreliable for making a profit in the stock market.
hey Larry, Thanks for another great video. Just want to ask, which RSi is accurate TA-Lib or pandas-TA?
thank you!!!
THAT is pure gold
Hi Larry, great video by the way. I am currently new in Python Finance but I was wondering, is it possible that we set up a screener (not just for S&P500 - I've also watched your video) that we can put a condition for example RSI oversold for Weekly and Daily Timeframe for all stocks. (we take consideration daily, weekly tf)
God bless You!
Hi Larry, thanks for all your content. It's been a huge help. I could not find the video on a user interface for Pandas TA built using Streamlit. Thank you
Great video
That's is what i want. 😁😁😁
yeah bro if you make a discord I'd pay to join. Much respect and love to ya bro.
Very nice. I recently saw a Medium article about Pandas TA, and I wanted to try it out when I get a chance. Installing ta-lib on various platforms can be a bit of a nightmare so I'm hoping that Pandas TA would be easier to port over to different OS's more easily. Or do a container I guess. LOL. But I'm not that smart.
Great video, very clear.
Please make a video on roadmap to learning python from scratch, specifically for stock analysis, chart analysis, getting trade signals using charts and statistical analysis of stocks. I mean create a roadmap on the course tailored cut for only stock analysis .
Regards
Farid
Be GREAT to see a video on Python Trading Bot using TA lib that alerts on price crossing MA, and MA's crossing.
Thanks bro for all this videos really appreciated it , A quick question : What is the extension that you use to get reference of adx and other in VSC ? 15:40 in the video
Hey, I should do a video on getting set up. I just use the Python extension from Microsoft: marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ms-python.python - this adds Intellisense, linting, and code navigation, among other things. Then if I want to know the internals of some function in a library, I can do Command-click to jump to that function's source code.
@@parttimelarry Thanks a lot Bro, Bye the way I'm trying to learn more about all thi stuff to get if I can a position in Quantitative finance or developer Lol
@@ziad3274 had the same question. what an awesome channel this is
awesome video. but is there a way to use pandas-ta with streaming data? Like...I have some historical ohlcv for which I've used a strategy...now I want to just add one row and have the rest of the technical indicator columns calculated
Nice job larry, If possible try post about Halftrend Indidcator using python.
your explain is amazing do you put a video list to explain librarys ?
How to write candles name on candles plotted
Hello
First of all, thanks for your videos.
I start create trader bot with ccxt and with your tutorial, but i have huge problem, I need to calculate EMA and use pandas_ta for calculate it, when i compare my result with treadingview chart on same cryptoand and exchenage (for example BTC on Binance), there are different! This disagreement breaks my strategy. how to solve this problem,
Thanks!
Nice lib but same issue like ta-lib not return right data in Chande Momentum Oscillator(CMO)
when I import ccxt and pandas I get unresolved import error how can I fix this
Build method and run for all the stocks to get return [date, name of stock, pattern1, pattern2,....]
Larry. I saw you are holding $RDFN, I am more like $ZG guy. Can you do a review of these stocks based on housing prices/demand. The fall in the prices of these stocks doesn't make sense when people are buying houses over ask constantly.
It's true, I own both Redfin and Zillow and have long term holdings :). I bought and sold my last house using Redfin, and even sold without ever meeting anyone in person, just signed some docs with Docusign $DOCU. There is such a huge market for tech in real estate and simplifying the whole process. I think they will be big winners. It would be interesting to do a deep dive on these stocks, but also I have so many other videos I need to make that I'm not sure I will get to it :). It also would possibly be interesting for a discussion of pairs trading.
@@parttimelarry You are on the money. DOCU is quite hot in real estate industry. I saw they made some bold moves in the beginning of 2021 that made all the real estate agents quite paranoid and ZG essentially got away with doing that too. So, they are going for a industry dominating position. Personally, I am not a believer on Redfin though. There are emerging startups that could take away their business. So, a industry leader will be where I invest.
Happy to have this convo with you. You are doing god's work and keep doing it.
How can add ichimoku ?
I am so glad i came accross your channel. I just subscribed. Pls i tried using the ADX pandas_ta indicator and i keep getting "Wrong number of items passed 3, placement implies 1". Pls help
grid was great up to 2019 , these days grid style trade behaviour is too much anticipated by the markets.
Pandas Ta's RSI calculation seems to produce incorrect results, though.
Hi Larry, make for us IBM cloud functions with tradingview webhooks course please ❤
Do a lot of people use IBM cloud functions? From what I have read, everyone uses AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions. IBM Cloud has around 1-2% market share, so a video for integrating this with TradingView would be just for a few people :).
@@parttimelarry Good evening Larry, First I'd like to thank you for your educational great videos. You changed my life man. Because of you I fall in love with programming.
You're right. For me I use Heroku or Google cloud.
You covered almost every famous cloud service, so I say why not IBM.
Specially because it doesn't require credit card verification (it may be a problem for a lot of people)
@@hammamiguapo3468 thanks I did not think about that last point.
@@parttimelarry Great content, Larry. Just a quick question? How would using a VPS compare to those services you mentioned above?
Do you have some mail or smth where i can reach out to you?
My email is in the About section of the site. Note that I don't have much free time to help with individual questions outside of the videos.
@@parttimelarry I understand, my inquiry is not related to solving any problems :)
Larry , 🔥GREAT VIDEO🔥! if python and TA made a P0rn movie it would be THIS ! +1SUB
