I've known some of them since middle school and I've had the privilege to welcome most of the students in the roster into my class. They are the hardest working group of young men academically and extracurricularly that were dead set on this moment from day 1 with the work ethic they put in. Their coaches are phenomenal leaders and the mental toughness to lock in on that final drive to keep them out of the endzone was phenomenal. Congrats, Angels, we're all proud of you!
BW fan here. I’m an 09 grad of BW. Absolutely had to be there to support this coaching staff and amazing team. That being said, I apologize for the Daddy’s Money chant. I wasn’t part of that and don’t remember hearing it in person. Even if it was a funny thing to chant in general (although it doesn’t make sense directed at you guys,) timing was not right. What an incredible game. So evenly matched really. I can’t help but feel that BW beat themselves a bit with the turnovers in the first half. Congratulations on your State Title, St. Cat’s.
@@systematic11 Certainly was. Last time I went to state as a kid, our team got blown out. And it's kids being kids but it's just funny because Racine was the trenches. It's not often a team loses with 300 rushing yards but you guys made a game on that.
@ Sell and Holldorf were amazing in the rushing department. Lots of great running backs that have gone through that program, and all those records were laid waste to by these guys this year. That offensive line deserves so much credit too. These 2 teams were really a match made in heaven… BW literally just didn’t show it in the first half. Can’t give the ball away that much against a team that dangerous and hope to steal one.
