I was not thinking of going back to table tennis after a year of not playing... But now looking at your energy in the videos I'm pretty sure I can give it a try
I tried Tenergy 19 on my backhand last night with Apolonia ZLC blade. I like it very much so far. Compared to 09c I strongly prefer the feeling of a softer and faster rubber especially after using the tacky 09c. The throw angle is low but it is very spinny so it's easy to aim up a little and adjust. Very solid rubber. I'm looking forward to using it in the club tomorrow! Love you Timo!

I'm glad Timo Boll... I hope I can try those Rubers... I'm currently using a Joola Rosskopf fire 07 Straight... with donic coppa x1 turbo platin. Now I ordered with a lot of effort an andro treiber CI off. I hope that my health is with me and that I continue to enjoy this sport since I suffer from heart failure and sometimes I get very exhausted, here in Chile being table tennis is very difficult, since the conditions are precarious, I hope to continue improving myself since in the long term I want being an instructor The good thing is that I can still last a couple of entire games when I'm doing well🙂. Greetings Timo Boll...
You are growing up. Best quality videos. I like your content. This channel will grow up for sure fast. And I have a Q: Your forehand technique is very diffrent form others, what to do, is it risky or something. Thanks in advice ;)
Timo Boll's technique is a unique one and he is left-handed. Left-handed sportsmen are known for the unique technique so please don't copy his technique (you will fail) just take some parts of it if can blend in with yours. What you should do is copy Timo's passion and devotion to table tennis.
Great content and great review 👍. Maybe you could show more playing video and narrate your opinion at the same time😎.(Wanted to see your beautiful playing style so much.😂)
Hey Timo, Can you tell us what ply did you play with before viscaria and also what rubbers did you use before Tenergy, a lot of people like me would like to know, and also your videos are really informative and enjoyable. Keep going.
Hey Timo I noticed that you used a really forehand oriented grip at 0:55 with your index finger moved up high and the racket laying on your thumb but in 0:59 you used a backhand oriented grip. Do you do that in matches as well? If so, is there anything else to being fast enough then just a lot of training(I'm talking about something like a technique for fast grip switching). I personally like to switch grips for forehand and backhand as well and I think it's especially important for the backhand because otherwise it's lacking to much power. It happens oftentimes in rallies that I'm to slow switching grips, but I'm still not sure if it's just a matter of my grips being to extreme, to little training (although I'm already training 3 times per week, without the virus)or wrong technique. I know that you can't judge my technique from afar, that's why I'm interested on your opinion on my questions;)
Late response but yes, timo uses a straight handle (rather than the flared handles most other stacking players use) and he changes the grip by a lot when backhand- forehand transition
I tried Rozena and found it played alot like Dignics 05. But, i found the Rozena to be a little softer and therefore a little too bouncy for my backhand and a little too slow for my forehand. I prefer Dignics 05 on my backhand and Hurricane 3 Neo or Dignics 09c on my forehand although i have not tried any of the other Tenergy's like 80, or 64 etc.
Thank you! Another great video. Seems like a rubber for those who like to take a step back from the table and dictate the rallies with feel and catapult shots?
how much? i just got tenergy 05. on a Harimoto A.C.L still getting used to it. My service is much better, spinnier and lower. I've been trying to improve my forehand loop. Is it best to use knees and feet to get topspin, or snap wrist at last second slightly later shot?
I do not get much practice when it comes to table tennis, the place where i live have less awareness of the sport, i sometimes get dejected 😔 when i have no good practice and facilities available, my game is not improving at all, it only is at the same stage... Also when i play match, i loose confidence alot and either put the ball on the net or does goes off the other table.. I always want to improve my game but it has been more than 1 year not playing!! What can i do for it? Please help😄
I think that would be like asking a Formula 1 driver to test a new Fiat500 :D Joking aside, the Bty Tackiness Chop in that sponge thickness is a very defensive rubber. It is one of the slowest rubbers I know of, since it is a classic style, with no speedglue effect at all. It can produce a decent amount of spin, the rubber is very grippy, yet not at all tacky like many chinese rubbers. I would recommend this rubber on an all to all+ blade, if you want to play very defensively (maybe paired with long pimples out). I wouldn't recommend this rubber for anyone who wants to play offensively, since you will literally pull your arms out to generate enough speed on the ball, or you will have to use a very very VERY fast blade to compensate. For an allround style play, the Tackiness D (with a thick sponge) would be a better starting point...
@@Aletheides01 I like your reply and you are right. But it would be really interesting and helpful to see how Timo is attacking with such a rubber (defensive). Modern defenders can benefit from it. BTW it shouldn't be more different from D c9 only much slower and hopefully, Timo can make a huge spin from it.
I tried Rozena on a Butterfly Innerforce ALC.S blade and i still like Hurricane 3 Neo better for my forehand or even Dignics 09c.
