I liked IGI 2 more than the first game. They focused extra on the stealth aspect in the game despite it being such an old game. In Project IGI, you can kill a random guy and the guy next to him doesn't even care. In IGI 2, the entire base goes berserk the moment a shot is fired unless it was from a silenced weapon. They also start searching for you once they discover a body. The number of enemies is also limited unlike in Project IGI where they keep popping out of nowhere. The bodies also don't disappear in IGI 2. It's one of the best games for its time in my opinion.

Actually frontal assault is not an option when a soldier is alone in enemy territory. He has to rely on stealth and use frontal assault as a last resort.
IGI 2 ke soundtracks aapko exactly early 2000s ke atmosphere mein le jaane ka kaam karti hain. Exact Chill/Lounge wale vibes ho ya uss zamane ka TECHNO sound ho, ya Libyan Rendezvous se inspired koi Middle Eastern ya Arabi music hi kyun na ho, in sab ka mixture tha IGI2 mein.

Brother, you've clarified for me why I also felt that IGI-2 wasn't as good as the original Project IGI. No doubt IGI-2 is very good, but I always felt that it didn't capture the same essence as IGI-1. I could never explain to anyone why I thought it was inferior to IGI-1. But now I've realized that the lack of music in the cracked copy, as well as the strange movements and dialogues of the characters, made IGI-1 feel better in comparison.

I remember playing igi 1 in my computer during 2011 ..whenever i used to come home from school…the first thing i would do is hop on my pc and play this game..this game truly was one of the most mesmerising and fun to play game..the graphics and story line and the courageous soldier jones and his assistant anya..this game was way ahead of its time..also whenever i see this game or notice someone talking about this game..i often feel a sense of nostalgia from 2011 …those were the moments…i would never forget in my life
YOU forgot the most important reason why the game was hated i.e pissing off the most populous nation at the time by showing one of their generals as the final villlain using their rockets . this is the reason the game was widely hated across China and remember that they were the primary buyers of the games since most chinese had enough money at the time to buy the original copy of the game . Since the americans were busy playing COD and MEDAL OF HONOR they outright ignored the game and then the only market left was China which actually banned the game for the above reasons . And as you know most people in The Indian Subcontinent weren't that rich to buy the originals they went for the pirated copies as is the same thing right now too . Most people are either hoping to get the game for free or to borrow it from friends . it's also the major reason why people of this region are not that much into battlefield or cod franchises but desperately hoping to get IGI Next part .

Well, in a game bootlegging and crack industry, it's a tradition to skip all the cutscene videos, music, and other media stuff that the game offers. Why? Because they want to cram a game into cheapest CD/DVD possible and these files are basically waste of space and game can function without them. That's why any bootlegged GTA don't contain radio, and bootlegged NFS don't have OSTs. Like you said for IGI 2, I would also say that most people here sadly slept on banger music, tracks featured in NFS Undercover, MW, U1, U2 and GTA Vice City, SA, IV. Even though I liked the first IGI-1 because of it's some memorable missions.But I played IGI-2 Multiplayer more because I had more fun in that game.I hope if someday some dev makes another IGI game.Hope they will include the multiplayer gameplay and the unique 3 objectives mission design with medium big maps like IGI-2.If they don't I will be very disappointed.Hope the dev team of newer IGI game is hearing this.
Igi 1and 2 are good. only the part 3 was bad. The unfortunate thing about the game was, it became popular in south Asia with almost 99% people playing the pirated game.
One more reason can be the fact that you can pick all the weapons in IGI and have a big loadout consisting of different kinda weapons, whereas in IGI 2 you can carry only a primary and a secondary weapon. Sad ☹️

Who told you igi 2 was hated? It was one of my most favorite games. Finished it several times. It was also very well optimized so you didn't need a strong gpu to run it. It could be simply played on native intel graphics.

Even though I liked the first IGI-1 because of it's some memorable missions.But I played IGI-2 Multiplayer more because I had more fun in that game.I hope if someday some dev makes another IGI game.Hope they will include the multiplayer gameplay and the unique 3 objectives mission design with medium big maps like IGI-2.If they don't I will be very disappointed.Hope the dev team of newer IGI game is hearing this.

Igi 1and 2 are good. only the part 3 was bad. The unfortunate thing about the game was, it became popular in south Asia with almost 99% people playing the pirated game.

One more reason can be the fact that you can pick all the weapons in IGI and have a big loadout consisting of different kinda weapons, whereas in IGI 2 you can carry only a primary and a secondary weapon. Sad ☹️

Who told you igi 2 was hated? It was one of my most favorite games. Finished it several times. It was also very well optimized so you didn't need a strong gpu to run it. It could be simply played on native intel graphics.
I agree with comments I also like IGI 2 it was the best game of that time IGI 1 was a easy game but in IGI 2 it was very hard in every situation it was like a real agent doing some dangerous missions.
I still remember i randomly searched in UA-cam igi 2 mission music and it pop-up and i was be like: it have music wtf?

In my opinion, IGI 2 was better maybe it was my first IGI game but my disc had without music version but I loved IGI 2 and enjoyed alot with trainer obviously and I have a lot of memories of my childhood and appreciate your work reviving our childhood 🇵🇰❤️
