LOL! There is a highlight video on UA-cam called *Michael Jordan God mode* . It's over 13 mins long. I watched it and was amazed! Only to find out after watching it, that all the highlights were from only one season (1993)! 😳

MJ had highlight worthy plays in EVERY SINGLE game. That’s why NBA had the highest rating when he was playing. People tune in to watch HIM do crazy stuff. Just watching what he is going to do next when the opposing team is throwing everything defending MJ. In early Bulls they aren’t even defending against the Bulls, they are just defending against MJ. That was the only way to keep the Bulls from the Finals. Once MJ built up the bulls to where it was impossible to throw 4-5 players defending MJ while leaving other players open (like Pippen, Cartwright, etc.) you finally have championship bulls. That was how awful the Bulls were (except for MJ), he stuck with the second worst team in the league and build them up. Phil Jackson wouldn’t even have a chance to coach without MJ. Phil’s coaching style and philosophy was so bizarre and new that no one wanted to give him a chance. It was MJ that stood up for Phil to be new head coach IIRC. Not trying to take anything away from Phil - still one of the greatest coaches of all time, but if MJ didn’t vouch for him history would be different.

Exactly. You could take pretty much any random sample of 30-40 games, and make this same video. That’s what a lot of people just don’t seem to be able to grasp. This was every day. Every game.

Another thing you have to consider is that Jordan really only played 11 full seasons with the Bulls and one full season with the Wizards when he was 39. He played a total of 15 NBA seasons, but the rest of those were very abbreviated due to either injuries or retirements. So in 11 prime years Jordan won 5 MVPs (second most all time) and 6 Finals MVPs (most all time). And he lost two seasons of his prime due to his first retirement in 1993/94 and 1994/95. He came back at the end of the 94/95 season and played about 17 games. But that's not enough games to win any of the annual NBA awards.

I'm from Cali (Orange County) and Magic is my favorite player all-time cause I fell in love with the sport in 1979 because of him. I've seen all the greats ball in person, including Kobe and Bron, and NO ONE compared to Jordan. The things my 20/20 vision witnessed is like nothing I had seen before or after him. @@TriggReacts I love Black Mamba but Black Jesus was Kobe on PEDs. The gap between the two of them was the size of Michael Strahan's. There's a reason why Magic said "there's Jordan then there's everyone else." Speaking of Lakers greats, Shaq said "Jordan is a 10 and there's no 9s only 7s and 8s." Another Lakers great and the NBA logo (Mr. Clutch), who traded for Kobe perceives His Airness as the GOAT and in his opinion it's not even close.

All these youngbloods are reacting to this video are like, “Why are you jumping?” when MJ is dunking. That’s because this was an era where most players actually cared about defence. Vince Carter in comparing the difficulty of playing in different eras, “Let just say it’s much easier these days getting to the basket. In the early days, if you wanted a poster dunk, you gotta be prepared to be slapped, tripped, elbowed, grabbed … without fouls being called”. That’s why most of these dunks are MJ dunking on guys. I think effort should be respected.

My Guy... thank You for being honest and open! Everyone has one number when describing Mike and that number is 6, they say "I don't understand, he jus got 6 rings... why not Robert Horry?" I was born with the last name Jordan, my father was never there... didn't meet him till I was 15! I was adopted at 9 and they changed my name... I grew up between two housing projects by very racist individuals! They hated my Friends and dad would beat me after they'd leave but... everyday I'd bring them back! He was never mean to them and even pretended to like them! My uncle was a basketball fan and it's watch ball with him! My parents never watched basketball and I couldn't either! So at my uncle's he was like, you can watch but you gotta pick a team... he said watch some college games and pick someone early! As i watched someone with my same name kept popping up! I chose him strictly on that... my uncle said, jus cause they good in college doesn't mean they'll be good pro! He was a Celtics/Bird fan... so I chose Mike!
6-0 in the finals, 6 FMVP's, 5 league MVP's... 10x scoring title, 3x steals title, DPLOY, 9 all defensive first teams... 88-89 he won DPLOY, scoring title, league MVP, steals title! Also in 88 he played point guard
    33.6 ppg, 11.4 rpg, 10.8 apg, 2.9 spg, 0.8 bpg, 51.0 fg%... he got 10 triple doubles in 11 games, 7 in a row!
I hated Kobe when he played, I truly did! As soon as he retired, I learned the respect he deserved! When he passed it broke me from the hate but respect the game! Srry for your loss of a legend ty for a video...

Yet another reason why today's NBA is unwatchable - the little babies get too up their feelings, getting embarrassed into not playing D, feeling disrespected when someone dunks on them, etc. It's not that deep, you don't lose points for actually trying.

No issue at all with people that put Kobe at the top of their list or even other people like LeBron, Bird, Kareem, Wilt (etc.). For me.... it's Jordan. Drop him in any era and he dominates and would be a force. Take any of those players I just mentioned and they'd also do just fine in any era. There is a reason Kobe patterned his game after Jordan, and a reason Jordan spoke so highly of him as well, and respected him so much. They also both played before the standard practice was to get a super team together to win championships. Kobe played his entire career with them, and he put in the work to be mentioned in the conversation of the best five players of all time.

Kobe didn't have a single move he didn't steal from Jordan and Kobe didn't have the athletics of Jordan. But Kobe did perfect being a Jordan duplicate... Which makes him second best player of all time

Kobe stole all his moves. The teacher is always better than the student. The stats in EVERY CATEGORY reflect it as well. MJ was better. No disrespect to Kobe, but MJ #1, Kobe #2, the rest can fight for scraps, not even close to them. Facts.
