I was a self harmer (not because of tumblr and not made worse by tumblr) but we naturally gravitate to others who do the same and i had a friend who used to post self harm pics on tumblr and it was so upsetting, her body was covered head to toe, and deep cuts too, she would post raw fresh wounds on tumblr and anorexia pictures and she got so many comments which im 100% sure fueled her self harm addiction, she was an identical twin and didnt get as much love and attention as her sister and tumblr made her feel loved and like people cared and were worried and i think her mental health spiralled because of it, once she got into a long term relationship and got the love and care she lacked, everything improved.. it goes back to that "weponising empathy" .. great essay
I joined tumblr pretty early too, when it was mostly fandom and fashion stuff, I love ships and this was the first time I saw an active community for the Pokemon anime, which tended to be maligned in the Pokemon forums I was a member of since I was in elementary school--shippers were looked down upon as most of the anime fans were male fans who only cared about battles and captures, but tumblr had more female fans who cared about the human characters and their stories and relationships! It was fun, I drew lots of fanart of my favourite ships, came up with stories and ideas and little comics about them as adults, etc. It was fun... Flash forward to tumblr and the rise of antishipping culture and excessive policing of fandom and politicizing everything, suddenly, only "healthy"/"wholesome" ship content was allowed, if someone shipped only straight ships, they were attacked (even if they were LGBT+ in real life, remember, tumblr hivemind decided shipping = politics), I was attacked for shipping characters with age differences... even though my art was always innocent and had no sexual element at all (I'm sex-repulsed and sexual, I was a CSA victim, for crying out loud...), but people are convinced that makes me a pedo and therefore, call-out posts, the wildest thing was this same ship I drew art for, despite the older character having NO CANON AGE people also tried to attack us for it based on... what, their headcanons??? It was insanity. But yeah, anti-shipper doesn't mean anti all ships, but anti ships that could be seen as problematic (like dark ships with abusive or unhealthy dynamics--even when it's intentionally and knowingly written that way--they want all fiction to hold their hand and show them only good, healthy, safe things like they're five years old watching educational media for kiddies + ooor simple age gap ships, that's the main thing, but if you ask the tumblr hivemind idiots, they think it means "promoting incest and pedophilia, etc." because they genuinely believe... writing or drawing something means the person is pro-abuse. In real life. They are so incredibly, collasally, immensely stupid and embarrassing.). Sadly, this contagion spread outside of tumblr, even to twitter, when the porn ban happened, so I've recently had to see some sad, pathetic twitter user writing how they wished the new Pokemon anime would clearly state the characters' ages because even if they liked Amethio (a new, sort of antagonistic character, who has been described as shounen--a boy--by their creators and many ship him with the protagonist, Liko--his design is a prettyboy of ambigious age and his voice is quite young, but also still pretty ambigious) they can't engage with content of this character, because half their friends are like EW THIS CHARACTER IS A MINOR HOW DARE YOU SHIP HIM WITH ADULTS and the other half is like OMG THIS CHARACTER IS AN ADULT HOW DARE YOU SHIP HIM WITH MINORS and rather than realizing the problem here is they have a bunch of fake friends who want to block them at any opportunity and sling accusations to virtue signal, this user thinks the fault lies with........ the Pokemon anime for not making characters' ages clear and stating them for the fans. I linked an interview with Ohmura refusing to answer yes or no to the popular-in-Japanese-fandom theory that the Subway Masters are 27, because ages are not disclosed unless they're plot-relevant. Because Pokemon's whole thing is inspiring creativity and letting everyone come up with their own stories. NATURALLY, I got completely ignored. I do not know if it's because I am ~a dreaded proshipper~ or if it's because I spoke too much sense by telling them their friends and what English speaking fandom has become are the problem and not the creators of Pokemon for intentionally leaving things ambigious so everyone can have fun and be creative, which the English-speaking fandom spaces of tumblr would rather scream, cry, pearl-clutch, and virtue signal while harrassing people and telling them to die and calling them pedophiles over fiction instead of just......... have fun and stop being pathetic.
Great video and analysis. Your line about birds with broken wings keeping each other company really summarized the whole problem. I joined Tumblr after the porn ban, when I was already an adult, because that's where a lot of really great fanartists were. I knew from my years in the fanfiction sphere that there was a dark side to fandom culture, but I didn't know how far it really went until joining Tumblr. It genuinely breaks my heart, because confused and hurting people DO need a chill space where they can talk about their favorite hobbies and media. Tumblr has been a positive and uplifting experience for me for the most part, but only because I was mature enough to resist peer pressure, avoid drama, and filter tags/blogs that I knew weren't good for me. I'm certain that if I'd joined at a younger age, especially when I was undergoing some of my own mental health crises, I would have ended up just like those blogs with mile-long DNI lists and fifty gender labels. Seeing all of this really made me that much more grateful for my parents and medical professionals who gave me the advice and treatment I actually needed. I see so many kids on tumblr who desperately need the same things I did, but they're totally brainwashed into believing that they need to hurt themselves to be happy, that their only value comes from their gender and sexuality, and that they need to viciously witch-hunt anyone who dares suggest that one or more of those things might not be true. This isn't love. This isn't protection. And this definitely isn't changing the minds of people who are opposed to LGBT acceptance. It's actually doing quite the opposite. Anyways, thanks for putting this out there, in spite of all the backlash you might be getting for it. I really admire your strength and how you fought your way through such a dark time. Wishing you all the best in the world!
Can you imagine people being allowed on the internet at age 18, and learning all the things you need to know. How could you ever keep info out of peoples hands these days?
@@legalfictionnaturalfact3969 How is it oppressive? Minors are not allowed to get tattoos, not allowed to drive, not allowed to drink... but keeping them from being exposed to a social experiment like social media is somehow going too far? 25:40 "proshipper" doesn't refer to people who ship, but rather people who ship "problematic" things such as abusive relationships, pedophilia, and who make fandom content about taboo subject matter such as rape
or rather someone who supports "all ships" including those problematic ones. it never just refers to any shipper, but rather someone that supports Any ship even those deemed morally objectionable
Incredible presentation. I'm 30 and I slowly saw all my lesbian friends being exposed to happy trans content and turn into FTMs in 10 years... It's a fucking cult.
i’m also a detransitioner deeply interested in the psychology of leftists teens (specifically on tiktok as i was never a tumblr girl). really enjoy this video as finally someone else has made the connection between obsessive compulsiveness and the behaviours seen in these communities. i believe that many young people’s gender confusion and transness is largely a manifestation of ocd similar to the way anorexia is for many. amazing video thank you
Yeah. Neurodivergent kids especially those with autism are getting caught up in trans propaganda. Puberty and young adulthood is a confusing time and trans offers people who feel othered a way to categorise themselves. It also seems to make gender a fixation or special interest for them. Teenage girls are just collateral damage in the trans agenda.
Trans femme here 39. Recently out. I e felt this way…way before tumblr. I was a 90s kid. I saw horrible representation of transsexual women. It made me run from myself and try to be some weird CDer. Time kept moving and the representation got better. And I could see how to be trans in my own environment. And I’m so much gapppier. It’s a few ppl in my life that have problems and struggle with it. There might be less gatekeeping and people falling into these identities. But I really hope medically speaking you wouldn’t take hormones without considering your gender very very deeply
I noticed this as well. I keep saying tumblr started it. Im a tumblr elder, been there since 2012 ish. I dont know when i stopped using my blog but im glad i did lmao
It started before 2012 though. I remember going to a massive party in Brooklyn in 2005 to raise money for a woman’s gender reassignment surgery. And it was around then when I started meeting and hearing about more and more women who were on T and transitioning. It was around 2007/8 that my brother decided he was actually a woman…. After being terminally on weird fetish websites for a couple years and meeting his current abusive husband online.
I'm sure it was! You are right. for my own experience though, that's where I encountered it for the first time. Also just, like a whole spread & normalizing. Maybe it seemed bigger to me because there were a lot of people repeating (or reblogging haha) the same things over and over again.
It brainwashed me for sure. All of a sudder everyone was questioning their gender, adding pronouns, then changing pronouns. Then most of their posts would be about gender. And I found my home in it as well. It was a bad time, I was completely disconnected from myself and life. But I always questioned the other side (the critique) and it started making more and more sense to me. Then detransition stories also started to come and I was like... we have been deceived.

I recently read comments on a video raging against what is a woman documentary. I was shocked at how cult like the atmosphere was. It is very difficult to leave a cult as well. The lingo used lets other cult members rank eachother. It’s as if these folks truly believe they are smarter, more evolved and above normies. It’s a disturbing environment and I thank God I grew up before this trans phenomenon began.
Thanks for such a thorough video! I wasn’t on tumblr as a teen but I knew about it and saw screenshots from it posted on other sites like Instagram. You did a really good job of explaining exactly what message tumblr gave to kids and how toxic it is!
Firstly, english is not my first language and i often need subtitles because people speak too fast and do not articulate enough, but your voice is so bright and clear ! a wonder to listen to and i didn't need to rewind a single time ! This was a great, insightful video. You're clearly passionate about this website, its history and the women on it. As a detrans woman who went through the tumblr pipeline, thank you. Secondly, i just wanted to add a few things. - You talk a lot about mental illness in this video, but never mention the fact that self diagnosis is rampant on tumblr. When someone puts in their bio that have autism & anxiety & ADHD etc, they're likely a shy person with low self esteem, who struggles with phone calls and blew it all out of proportion all on their own. I'm not denying the claims of absolutely everyone, but if the tumblr staff was to make a poll, i bet almost no one on this website would claim to be neurotypical. - When you showcase the DNI banners, you point out the term "proshippers" and it in fact doesn't mean "people who ship things" tho i can understand the confusion. I believe the term was coined by members of the NBC's Hannibal fandom when they were under attack by the pro censorship crowd online. It's a fairly common DNI (i would say the most popular behind TERFs and pedos/zoos (because the kind of people who DNIs on their account are likely to be pro censorship in my experience)) and it means "anti harassment over fiction". I personnally consider myself to be a proshipper, most creators attacked by the censoship crowd are female fanfic writers who use erotica to cope with trauma or explore their sexuality in a safe way and i'll always be suportive of that no matter how gross i fint what they write/draw. So yeah that's what proship means ! Check antishipping.tumblr.com/post/710619355106459648/where-are-people-finding-these if you wanna know more ! have a great day
Great video, very helpful for friends and family of ROGD folks. Detransitioner Helena Kirschner (sp?) has quite a similar account about Tumblr and the wild social dynamics going on there, but this deep dive is great.
I remember using tumblr in high school (2010-11), and how much the site was geared toward youth. It seemed like a haven for young adults and sexuality with gifs from tv shows. I’m amazed at how sane I am by not going down the rabbit hole.
There is still a problem on autistic discord spaces of being very left leaning. Like it seems like half of the members in the server is on the lgbtq+ spectrum and almost everyone loves frogs It really makes me wonder 1 - how many autistics have they alienated? 2 - how many of them are diagnosed autistics? 3 - how many of the undiagnosed autistics are pretending? 4 - why are autism spaces often so woke?
1- probably a lot, and i think its a problem 2- ???doesn't matter 3- i mean maybe a couple, more likely quite a few people are mistaken or claiming to be more certain than they are. but again, why would it matter? 4- many autistic people just are like that. you can look into what people think might be the reasons if youd like i find it fascinating
@@Summer-uq1vr couldn't have said it better. to answer the 3rd point (of the commenter); there's definitely a possibility of misdiagnosing oneself, and therefore "pretending" to have autism. some people may have symptoms that are not from autism and may not realise. if there's no harmful motives, then it's a good thing that autistic spaces accept people who may share their condition. in short, many autistic communities welcome many people, probably because they understand the struggle of not having a diagnosis. :D
Personally, i (a more or less straight autistic male) feel an affinity towards other groups who face hardship and discrimination based on their immutable characteristics which in my mind, explains the relationship you're talking about in the most simple terms possible. As far as autistic people being more likely to be queer themselves, I can't think of a definitive answer why that would be other than the fact we all experience homo-erotic desires and thoughts from time to time and autistic people are probably less likely to repress those feelings as a result of homophobic social conditioning due to autistic people notoriously having difficulty being 'normally' conditioned.
@@krismclean5080 higher rates of queerness in autistic people are often correlated with the higher willingness to accept ourselves yeah!! Also stuff like genderqueerness and gender as a social construct and autistic people interacting differently with social constructs in general and it's really cool!!!!:D Edit: apologies for the random infodump, my main special interest is abnormal psychology, especially autism and stuff, and the way it affects people and populations
@@Summer-uq1vr autistic people tend to have very strong ways of thinking, ie. black and white thinking, and strong senses of justice hence the leaning towards leftist ideas. It makes you wonder how many undiagnosed autistic right wingers there are though!
correction at 25:40, proshipper doesn't mean anyone who's just pro shipping characters in general. it means someone who is pro ALL ships, notably including pedophilic, incestuous, etc ones. the term "proshipper" is intentionally vague so as to make it seem normal. nowadays i've seen variants, "comshippers" (complicated shippers) and "pro fiction" (which is again intentionally vague, but means pro fictional (almost always pornified) depictions of pedophilia, incest, etc). the homestuck fandom has a lot of them
Agree: lot of these people try to hook people in with their laments about their fictional media being censored but neglect to mention the fact that the only reason they're lamenting about it is that they want to treat dark themes as wank material. Theyre much like those people in thinking it's ok to consume l*licon and it doesn't reflect on themselves or predict future criminality. Thanks for pointing this out!
I remember how I once met an "autistic" trans woman while I was in the process of my autism diagnosis. After being so much traumatized by the woke community, that I wasn't able to function anymore and lost my home, I realized that I probably need more help. I also told this transwoman, I have been homeless and he just ignored it, talked about how hard his life was and that some doctor told him, it's a miracle that he's alive. Later I learned most trans women are narcissists who call themselves autistic out of a predatory motovation and I'm happy I broke up the contact.
theyre hurt people who were materially privileged but cannot come to terms with their psychological trauma so they seek out a marginal identity that wouldnt really question how they view themselves - but yeah, narcissists for short. i truly hope things got better for you now!!!
You are so right about that last slide... I certainly didn't realize that my (Gen-Z) daughter was being indoctrinated on Tumblr, Archive of Our Own and all Social Media. Really enjoyed this video. Thanks! It’s significant to me as someone who watched this occur mainly through the lenses of fandom. Every single one I went through, some more than others, have had this transition. Pretty crazy to see. Note: pro-ship is the idea that all shipping is OK. Ex: let’s take a man and woman in a ‘normal’ relationship, excluding Stockholm syndrome, toxicity etc. this ship type is mostly accepted among fandoms. Someone who is pro-ship would say that a ship between a little kid and a grown adult is OK. Or a kidnapper and his/her victim. Or a human and an animal. All sorts of things go. This isn’t new, but I think the debate is pretty hot rn, especially because it’s no longer a question of whether or not you like Harry Potter x Voldemort, but now people are a lot more… willing to ask and discuss what that means for a REAL person and their (perverse) desires. To say pro-ship DNI is to say anybody who engages with these ships (or does not see them as immoral) ought not to interact with you.
I wish I had screencapped it at the time, but this really sums up the hypocrisy and insanity of the Tumblr "gender" movement or whatever. There was a user I encountered that had this in her profile, and I'm paraphrasing a bit here it went "I don't want any MEN following me on here. TRANS MEN are ok, though." And at that moment I had to lol. This person not only invalidated the idea of trans in that post they were "anti men" but also saying so much as "women can't be men" under such a Progressive umbrella...And no one called her out. I have a lot to say about Tumblr and I love you and your video for this. I came to Tumblr at a bit of a later stage in life and was still met with hostility and anger when I would call out the sh!t I saw. I need to go work on an essay now and get back to you. Glad I found your channel.

I'm Gen X, and I was rebellious as hell. So much so I was sent away to a behavior modification facility. With that said, the facility didn't perform surgery on me and make irreversible changes to my body. The trans movement is the modern day 90s behavior modification facility for teens but they are doing irreversible surgeries on them instead of shoving Lithium down their throat. The common denominator is the adults who push this and profit from it.

I'm sorry the dni commentary is really dumb. The reason the dni posts happened was because nsfw accounts kept bombarding tumblr with sexual harassment. Normal posts would get people tagging it with porn and roleplaying sexual scenarios. Proshipping = having messed up disgusting and borderline illegal fetishes is one of those. It used to be for just nsfw content but evolved to include political beliefs. If you're familiar with the history of tumblr, you will remember the porn account invasion.
The porn industry is built on abuse and trafficking, real rape videos often found their way onto sites like p*rnhub, staff have gone on record saying they refuse to have ID age verification because it will cut into their earnings (they don't care about the many children exposed to it who end up addicted and mimic it, abusing other kids), the stars are largely addicted to some kind of drugs to look so placid and calm and happy while enduring unnatural and painful treatment, pornography is vile. (Also, tumblr's blanket porn ban occured because of the rampant child porn problem that they couldn't fix due to a lack of real moderation on the site.)
the hell did i just stumble upon..... you know the people who want you to think us trans people are evil also think women are subhuman, right? like, that's the side you're fighting for.

Maybe you should read up a bit more on what GCs actually think. Of course it slightly varies between us. But bottom line..? Is: "trans" is not a real and inherent thing. More like a culturally constructed notion, a path certain people choose to go down, (often due to social contagion, mental illness / self-loathing, and toxic encouragement in the name of unthinking woke politics), and a conviction certain people have about themselves. People are "trans" because they think they are "trans", and they decide to identify as such! That's it. There is no biometric test that can distinguish who is "truly" "trans". More like a self-fulfilling prophecy, that you think is real, because you believe in it. And then start to experience. Just like with Christians who REALLY believe in Jesus, to the point of feeling his presence. And.. GCs, like me, reject it because we think it's not only a false created concept, but also an incredibly HARMFUL one! ..Also, most of us are feminists. So there is that. What a dumb@ss comment. Did ya ever look into what "TERF", as an acronym, even stands for, and how it was created? Perhaps you should. Also, you'd be hard pressed to find any of us who thinks all trans identifying people are "evil". I think most of you are confused, mentally ill, neurodivergent, often LGB, often naturally gender non-conforming, sometimes trauma survivors, usually victims of internalized sexism / misogyny / homophobia, etc, to varying degrees, who have sadly fallen prey to a VERY dangerous ideology, that is actively harming you. But among the men pretending to be women, in specific..? A lot of them are driven by a sexual fetish, known as autogynephilia. Although not all. Some of them are just sincerely mentally unwell, and struggling, as well. Or perhaps gay. Perhaps autistic. Etc. You get the gist. Look into the findings on the former patients of the British Tavistock gender clinic for minors, that is going to be shut down, following the Cass Review! Or Hannah Barnes' brilliant book about it, Time To Think! And you shall see just how EXTREMELY overrepresented these groups are, as well as the EXTREME explosion in "trans" identification, due to ROGD / social contagion, that's been taking place. Which is another reason why we object to this. But "all trans people are evil"..? No! Absolutely not! Although the movement as a whole DOES give cover to sexual predators, exploitative fetishists, sociopaths and narcissists who just want to make a quick buck off of the bodies of people like you, who fall for this, etc. But I think by far the vast majority of young people who start to identify as "trans"..? Are VICTIMS. Not perpetrators. Which, I think most GCs would agree with me on that. ..But 'eh, much easier to just misrepresent us, for your own peace of mind. I know what that's like, too. I used to fully believe in, and push for, this crap as well! Until I woke up. Which I resisted for YEARS! And it was a really dark, crazy, difficult, earth shattering experience, that broke ALL my paradigms, and took a long time to adjust to. Like: "who the absolute f*ck am I now, and what do I stand for now??" kind of thing. So.. I get not wanting to go there. I really do. But your resistance to it doesn't mean all GCs are monsters. It just means we've woken up to an inconvenient reality that you refuse to face. That's all.
I hate to break it to you but people who are critical of gender ideology (and wokeness in general) are on a broad spectrum and can't be easily generalized the ay you attempt to. Many of them are very liberal, and oppose all of this because they think it is misogynistic.

Sometimes I think we should ban minors from using social media...
Can you imagine people being allowed on the internet at age 18, and learning all the things you need to know. How could you ever keep info out of peoples hands these days?
Absolutely not. That is an insane proposition. And oppressive
@@legalfictionnaturalfact3969 How is it oppressive? Minors are not allowed to get tattoos, not allowed to drive, not allowed to drink... but keeping them from being exposed to a social experiment like social media is somehow going too far?
Look at what happened in just 10 years after the popularization of social media: mental health issues have skyrocketed, self-harm rates have risen, depression diagnosis have risen, young people are more radicalized than ever, teenagers are being manipulated into irreversible cosmetics surgeries.
I am a gen Z, I was raised within Social Media, and it has ruined my life. I can't let other kids go through what happened to me.
@@EmmsReality Did you read my comment? I said banning from Social Media, NOT banning from the Internet. Please, read comments carefully before replying to them.
I feel I have always been progressive but this ideology along with its approach and rhetoric is really, really concerning.
That’s because it’s a regressive ideology.
This has nothing to do with being progressive. It's clearly a cult with a very conservative and anti feminist way of thinking
if being exposed to queer people could make straight people queer, there would be no queer people because straight people would've made all of us straight. just... give that a think.
@@EmmsReality There is no such thing as being born in the wrong body. You're a man with a fetish, delirium drew. You're dangerous. Scram.
@@Alien-bu5bv You’re right that tumblr has played a big role in normalizing and mainstreaming trans ideology.
How do you know you're not being brain washed now?

i used to be very woke in my highschool years and i have a few neurodivergent traits so im personally very thankful that ive always found tumblr to be too overwhelming to engage with - knowing myself i would have definitely gone down the trans pipeline... so when i say that this videoessay of yours rly gave me back faith into human rationality and resilience, i truly dont mean it from a high-horse place.

That’s great to hear! Many people go through hell and return, it’s the hero’s journey. It just feels extra stupid and surreal because some shit post website like tumblr is involved lol
@@LauraBeckerReal oh but you know... its not just a website, its people who shared interests and similar struggles (okay, with the possibility of some intelligence agency psyops, as it usually is on the internet haha). so yeah, it starts like that and then devolves into crabs in a bucket - but nobody should blame themselves for not noticing that the water boils slowly!
Awesome video and writing! I had heard a little about the importance of tumblr in the spread of gender ideology and this breaks it down so well and i appreciate hearing your experience, thank you!
Your voice is amazing I could listen all day ! This is hard to hear but as a mom I remember how much she loved Tumblr …..it’s quite clear by giving her the phone at 11 and not checking back until way too late ! Thank you for this ❤
i’d also like to add, isn’t it such a mind fuck how these people insist that the opinions and experiences of those who have detransitioned is automatically null and void? at the end of the day i feel bad for these people because really they are just the product of eachother’s echo chambered programming on these websites and really are trapped in a trance of sorts… this is coming from someone who was able to break out of it though so maybe there is hope.
Like it seems like half of the members in the server is on the lgbtq+ spectrum and almost everyone loves frogs
It really makes me wonder
1 - how many autistics have they alienated?
2 - how many of them are diagnosed autistics?
3 - how many of the undiagnosed autistics are pretending?
4 - why are autism spaces often so woke?
1- probably a lot, and i think its a problem
2- ???doesn't matter
3- i mean maybe a couple, more likely quite a few people are mistaken or claiming to be more certain than they are. but again, why would it matter?
Also stuff like genderqueerness and gender as a social construct and autistic people interacting differently with social constructs in general and it's really cool!!!!:D
Edit: apologies for the random infodump, my main special interest is abnormal psychology, especially autism and stuff, and the way it affects people and populations
@@Summer-uq1vr autistic people tend to have very strong ways of thinking, ie. black and white thinking, and strong senses of justice hence the leaning towards leftist ideas. It makes you wonder how many undiagnosed autistic right wingers there are though!
I swear to god if i see one more person make a character trans im going to go batshit insane
correction at 25:40, proshipper doesn't mean anyone who's just pro shipping characters in general. it means someone who is pro ALL ships, notably including pedophilic, incestuous, etc ones. the term "proshipper" is intentionally vague so as to make it seem normal. nowadays i've seen variants, "comshippers" (complicated shippers) and "pro fiction" (which is again intentionally vague, but means pro fictional (almost always pornified) depictions of pedophilia, incest, etc).
the homestuck fandom has a lot of them
Agree: lot of these people try to hook people in with their laments about their fictional media being censored but neglect to mention the fact that the only reason they're lamenting about it is that they want to treat dark themes as wank material. Theyre much like those people in thinking it's ok to consume l*licon and it doesn't reflect on themselves or predict future criminality. Thanks for pointing this out!
I have seen it used both ways.
I’m glad I have Zero idea what any of that means
I don’t think I want to either

What's a ship
I remember how I once met an "autistic" trans woman while I was in the process of my autism diagnosis. After being so much traumatized by the woke community, that I wasn't able to function anymore and lost my home, I realized that I probably need more help. I also told this transwoman, I have been homeless and he just ignored it, talked about how hard his life was and that some doctor told him, it's a miracle that he's alive. Later I learned most trans women are narcissists who call themselves autistic out of a predatory motovation and I'm happy I broke up the contact.
@zrslvt I also thaught this first but no other demographic acts so hostile
Unfortunately, the trans movement targets autistic girls who feel different and don't fit in.
theyre hurt people who were materially privileged but cannot come to terms with their psychological trauma so they seek out a marginal identity that wouldnt really question how they view themselves - but yeah, narcissists for short.
i truly hope things got better for you now!!!
You are so right about that last slide... I certainly didn't realize that my (Gen-Z) daughter was being indoctrinated on Tumblr, Archive of Our Own and all Social Media.
She started taking part in these as a tween. She was very mature, intelligent and I thought I had raised her right enough that she would be able to separate the chaff from the wheat.
Well, she wasn't.
How is she now?
We need to get as many detransitioners onto tumblr, to make sure they hear the other side.
We're all on Twitter now.

@@LauraBeckerReal tumblr definitely did damage to girls the most and it is the reason TQ+ is a thing because of that delusional Ashley mardel she definitely helped spread it on this platform, and that's not even talking about what I sadly came across the gay to straight porn accounts which are now on Twitter many of them pretend to be gay and it's very disturbing, the mogai cult on tumblr did damage to LGB too, I'm just glad LGB are waking up now took them long enough.

To say pro-ship DNI is to say anybody who engages with these ships (or does not see them as immoral) ought not to interact with you.
bravo!!👏🏼👏🏼 you’re very smart, spot on. and a very skilled writer

I'd sum most of this up with teens being teens

That was happening before the porn invasion.
The best thing about Tumblr was porn. Since then, no one cares about it
The porn industry is built on abuse and trafficking, real rape videos often found their way onto sites like p*rnhub, staff have gone on record saying they refuse to have ID age verification because it will cut into their earnings (they don't care about the many children exposed to it who end up addicted and mimic it, abusing other kids), the stars are largely addicted to some kind of drugs to look so placid and calm and happy while enduring unnatural and painful treatment, pornography is vile.
(Also, tumblr's blanket porn ban occured because of the rampant child porn problem that they couldn't fix due to a lack of real moderation on the site.)
the hell did i just stumble upon..... you know the people who want you to think us trans people are evil also think women are subhuman, right? like, that's the side you're fighting for.
also if being exposed to queer people could make straight people queer, there would be no queer people because straight people would've made all of us straight
