I think slender and lean is good for Goblin. The issue for me - just my own opinion - is that this figure has no tapering anywhere, his torso is too thick but has no shape, legs are too skinny without any shape either; traditionally his outfit has been tightly fitting, this makes the suit look quilted. It’s a beautiful figure and it’s well made, head is really dope, but this isn’t their best work with respect to the body
The head sculpts are the best part but Idk about that body size and proportions like you said, a more dynamic look would have made this PERFECT, I love the Norman crazy eyes tho, dope review Wade fn camera is so clean
Jackson! ‘Twas I, a horrible nerd from CT, USA, that sent you that comic as a thanks for turning me on to it. Also I love when you guys talk about non superhero comics. ❤
oh man. I can't remember the last time I was this happy watching a regular review. This green goblin is practically perfect apart from small details. But that's pretty much everything I want the green goblin to be. I don't know if the colors on your camera reflect what they look like in real life. But this is the PERFECT green and purple. I don't like green that's too dark, I don't like it being too pink, burgundy or any dark shades but this... it's my favorite color for a goblin. I would only prefer a brown belt and a brown bag, it would add much more variety and dynamism in colors and it would stand out. I'm a bit in favor of him being a bit more muscular, but that will pass. All heads are great. My favorite is the one... with the toothy smile. This is simply essential. The second one is the maniacal laughter, which I actually miss, on the head of Osborn himself, because then it would actually show how emotionally unstable Norman is. But the rest, like calm and completely on the verge of breakdown, are also good. Accessories, glider, actually I thought it would be bigger and actually I would prefer it like a new one. No way home Dafoe, this glider is GIANT and looks like a really dangerous tool. And the glider itself is in the shape of a bat, as it should be, not what Hasbro gave us, the wings are crucial, not angular but like a bat's. So many pumpkin bombs, evil, smiling, burning and with smoke, and hands shooting rays from the finger - that's practically all I want and it would be enough for me. But the frogs, the ghost, the batarangs...... when they showed this figure I just found out that he had something like that and damn I LOVE it. Hands throwing bombs and these weird things were what I missed. If they killed it with Green gobby, Hobgoblin would just crush it. And I'm really waiting, WAITING for Hasbro to give a little more love for goblins, especially for GREEN, damn it is one of the most recognizable, essential Marvel villains, not to mention Spider-Man's how he turned his life into hell. And he deserves a DELUXE edition, like war machine, the new No Way Home green goblin, black widow. I really don't expect much. A large glider like a bat's, a new body mold for the pinless goblin, and with better articulation since he could kick Spider-Man's ass in a fight. two bombs, hands open to hold them and choke Spider-Man, fists that no previous edition has had, and he has to knock out his teeth. Zapping fingers, and hands throwing bombs, what could they do if bullseye or ronin had something like that. And only two heads, angry and focused Norman Osborn, and a broadly smiling green goblin with teeth. None of their goblins even came close to the Toybiz one. I only really liked TAS one. Because the head and these colors on the admittedly outdated body mold match each other, and THIS HEAD IS TAS SPOT ON. Still waiting hasbro, but anyway this MEZCO GOBLIN IS A BOMB! If I didn't mind the fabric clothes on the figures limiting articulation, I would have bought this goblin a long time ago.
Whoa whoa whoa Unparalleled!! Best Green Goblin figure ever according to sculpt and articulation?! I'd have to give that to the Hasbro 3.75 in Marvel universe Green Goblin Sir respectfully your majesty 🤣😂💪🏽
Your photos at the end are 🔥I really don't need this (I don't even mess with the GG I currently have much) and I don't plan on getting the Mezco Spidey to go with it--but it looks SO good I may give in if it's ever on a heavier discount.
Razor bats is what those are called, funny they started off looking like batterings then got a lot more pumpkin looking overtime And the throwing ghost thankfully, it didn’t make it to the big screen because it’s one of the more disturbing weapons it wraps goblin’s opponent in a giant durable plastic bag that then makes a perfect seal slowly suffocating them overtime you were right it’s goofy yet terrifying
Do you think the daily Bugle newspaper is giving hints of the next figures to come Electro, Vision and the Hulk, I wished they did the torso like they did Mr Fantastic so he would have had a better ab crunch or bend, you know what would be cool if they gave him a green suit and a shirt w/tie with replaceable shoe feet and regular hand so we could have a suited Osborn and done the same thing with spider man so we could of had a suited Peter Parker and a magnet in his head to hold the spidey sense but it’s a nice figure here’s hoping Doc Ock is next and the paper is a hint to what’s to come.
This figure really embodies the appeal of the Green Goblin to me, mainly that his design kind of makes no sense the second you think about it in any practical sense. Obviously back then characters were designed to look striking rather than practical, and the Goblin appeared long before Norman was introduced, but when we learn his backstory of the formula giving him super strength and a split personality, there's really nothing about that premise that demanded he dress like a Goblin, or why he then made all of his tech look like goofy supernatural stuff. Plus his mask runs on Scooby Doo logic where he puts it on but it somehow is then able to emote and be as expressive as an actual human face. I think that's partly why it's been so hard to adapt his design into live-action, there's no way a mask fully covering his face could be emotive, so we get the 2002 design, then the other option which we've seen recently is Norman using his actual face or having the serum mutate his face into a Goblin appearance, which makes sense to me and I feel is the way to go.
Did they use a leather material for the torso attire ? The figure looks amazing, however being based in Asia the leather more in likely won't last the test of time due to our weather. My Mezco Blade's jacket has already flaked as it had a leather material.
Im a diehard Marvel Legends fan..i just can't get behind Mezco & the use of soft goods..they remind me of the old school Mego Marvel Comics action figures from way back..i loved them as a kid don't get me wrong..but they looked like kids toys which is what they were..& we also didn't have any other choice as well. That being said..i can appreciate that Mezxo has a lot of fans & to each his own as well Anyways keep up the great work brother.. looking forward to your upcoming ML reviews 👑
This guy looks awesome! Can’t wait for him to hit the UK and get him in-hand. You in on any of the Dick Tracy figures, would love to see your thought on Pruneface. Great review! 🔥🔥🔥
I really hope Mezco doesn't stick with purely his stronger foes and bridges out into his villain's goofier designs. The Shocker would be amazing in Mezco's style. The Prowler would be awesome compacting with Mezco's style. Hobgoblin would be nice seeing how they approached Green Goblin. Kraven would look absolutely stellar along with the black suit Spidey. Other than that, love your content Unparalleled keep up the great videos
Probably going to the sell the norman osborn faces like I plan to do with the Peter Parker face, since I don't like exposed human faces on my most of figures. I like masked or helmeted heads. Also want to replace the body with a more articulated and slightly more musclar body, but I imagine modifications would have to done to get forearms, hands, booted half area, and feet to fit properly on a new body. I am trying to figure out how to get replacement suits for when the suits start to deteroiate. Making them is a possibility, but my seamsters skills are rudimentary at best, and I guess having someone make me a suit would cost just as much as the original price of the figure. For the price of the figure, you definitely shouldn't have to be limited to museum poses to prevent deterioration of the suit. I know small companies and artists can make suits that are much more durable without limiting articulation as much, so a large company like Mezco should be able to, but corners always get cut somewhere. I guess it is an unfortunate reality of clothed figures.
Them scales looks the same as their Captain America figure, might peel off down the line 🤷 Thumbnail is 🔥. He used the ghost against Human Torch and Frog vs. Spidey, classic deep dive by Mezco
Quick sugggestion since there’s the new steel box mezco wolverine why don’t you put the old mezco tiger stripe or brown suit Wolverine with you marvel select X-men
I think the heads are awesome but the body really looks like a Mego doll to me. When he's posed it's fine but in neutral pose his body doesn't have any shape
That Toybiz figure is a masterpiece. 20 years later it's still not been bettered, even by super high-end figures like this one. Yeah the articulation is outdated in places but that headsculpt is stunning. Nobody has ever done a better one.
I would just like anyone to know who may be on the fence because of the whole big head thing. I have spidey, not goblin. Same comments are made about spidey and honestly it looks great. In hand makes such a difference. They’re definitely worth picking up. Only thing with spidey is SOME of the web lines are off the sculpted lines. They’re raised from the surface but all in all I think any spidey fan would love it. I really need goblin now
I love how purely comic book and silver age this is. None of the modern coolness or realistic design changes. It's just a dude in a body sock throwing actual little jack-o-lanterns. I never thought about his costume being goofy looking to contrast how much of a threat he is but I like it now. And they got the most important detail, his perfectly styled waves lol.
🤣He has a v🐫 toe goes with the purse😆 all kidding aside love the goblin but with all this going on what's he goblin 😂 he took mama goblins panty hose to make his outfit 😂
And i think mezco did a pretty good job And i think they did a good job i think mezco did a good job And yea I think they did a good job” Mf doesnt realize he says the same sht over and over
I think the figure looks great but I decided not to buy figures with pleather anymore. I had the black suit spiderman and yellow daredevil deteriorate on me in vanilla poses
I think slender and lean is good for Goblin. yeah goblin is usually jacked
@@idancewithsaibotnot really he’s decently fit but not jacked
Yeah not sure why they skimped on the definition in his body. Those skinny legs are just AWFUL.
Big agree, its got all the plusses mezco figures usually do but its unflattering
The head sculpts are the best part but Idk about that body size and proportions like you said, a more dynamic look would have made this PERFECT, I love the Norman crazy eyes tho, dope review Wade fn camera is so clean
Bought this tonight alongside the Spider man at Forbidden Planet in NY, zero regrets on both
Great view on this... Can't wait for BBTS to process!
Oh the bats are razor bats. Nothing fancy.
Love seeing your takes Wade, good video.
Jackson! ‘Twas I, a horrible nerd from CT, USA, that sent you that comic as a thanks for turning me on to it. Also I love when you guys talk about non superhero comics. ❤
Just missing part would be the normal colored neck for unmasked heads
I love the Green Goblin, Green Goblin’s my favourite Spider-Man villain
This, along with the new Spidey are slept on. Big headed be damned.

Where did you get the werewolf gloves for the review?
From god.
Really dope figure wanted to grab this with the spidy love the throw back looks from my day
I like the ghost and frog bombs!
Love that Mezco black suit spiderman
Green Goblin’s batarangs are called Razor Bats. He would put chemicals on them to dampen Spideys Spider-Sense
great review ! how did u get that purple background looks awesome!
Love the pics, Wade!
Thanks!

Could you do a throwback review of a toybiz figure or a marvel select
The Steve Ditko version of Green Goblin wasn't ripped or overbulked. Critical fans need to research the art it's based on and get over it.
I agree with you on that
26:50 pose looks like Ray Liotta Green Goblin.
Hey man love your reviews.
Will we ever get a Mezco gambit review from you?
Thanks man.
those head sculpts are crazy sick
Dope review bro! Can’t wait til I get mine!
Can you use these heads on a ML figure?
I been a fan of yours for a minute now ,so i gotta ask are you part wolf..them hairy arms
Figure looks great just wish he had a bit more forward crunch. Hope mafex makes a classic gobby soon
Nice poses and pics!
Not sure about the ghost throwable but the frog throwable is a reference to his "Electrically Charged Toy Frog" to snap Spideys web

Really? I understand the apprehension about the soft goods but Mezo's figures are not even remotely close to Mego figures.
This guy looks awesome! Can’t wait for him to hit the UK and get him in-hand. You in on any of the Dick Tracy figures, would love to see your thought on Pruneface. Great review! 🔥🔥🔥
Also are can you either review the new mezco spidey or compare him to the mafex spidey or renew your vows spidey
Looking like the witch from Wicked. lol Dope figure.
Hey could u make a top 10 mezco teir list
I really hope Mezco doesn't stick with purely his stronger foes and bridges out into his villain's goofier designs. The Shocker would be amazing in Mezco's style. 9:06 he kinda looks like Tommy Lee Jones here.
"I have got to get me one of these!"

Wharf the design involves a exposed face like the hulk punisher or sandman

that would be nice if this figure also comes with a ozzy osbourne head.
Really good figure
Heck yeah! He came out nice!
Looks fun fo sho.
I wanted this action figure like 39% but now seeing the frog i want it 100% now 🤪
dang! Thats a huge jump haha.
@@UnparalleledUniversewas that a pun intended with jump because he said he wanted it more because of the frog

Yeah!
5 months later still waiting on the spidey review 😞
You definitely make it look good. Now do the new Spidey 😂
🤣He has a v🐫 toe goes with the purse😆 all kidding aside love the goblin but with all this going on what's he goblin 😂 he took mama goblins panty hose to make his outfit 😂
He does hahahahahaha only when he standing up straight and the shadows hit it just right but yeah it looks funny

if the head is smaller it would be perfect
Dope! Dope! Dope! It's dope! ...learn a new word, man, jeez.
Hey hey relax. There is a good reason I use that word in mezco reviews. I’m not telling you why though.
I think the figure looks great but I decided not to buy figures with pleather anymore. I had the black suit spiderman and yellow daredevil deteriorate on me in vanilla poses
Nice reviews mate
Thanks!
